My cake rose very nice n then shrunk.. Still very fluffy but looks :(. I didnt have cake flour so i added 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1/8th teaspoon baking soda. Can u help as to whr to correct myself

Hi, grams is based on weight and teaspoon is based on volume. The density and volume of each ingredient will be different in different countries, if there are discrepancies, the grams shall prevail
Made it today the cake is so delicious, I'm amazed by the recipe that the meringue didn't need any cream of tartar or vinegar and the cake turned up to be so tall 👍 yummy! But please check your recipe again the oil and milk you listed ml but the video showed in gram

Hi,maybe is the egg whites problem, you can try this side.Whip the egg white on medium speed until become bubble form, and then add 1/3 of the amount of sugar with high-speed whipping to the foam began to become detailed and expansion, and then add the remaining sugar begin whipping your egg whites on low speed until they become foamy and frothy. It takes about 5-10 minutes to whip the eggs whites.

I found my cake to be a bit on the sweet side.. R u sure thr is no mix up with the sugar and flour measurement in tablespoon?
@@gulnarkhan9548 maybe you overmixed it. Chiffon tends to deflate if overmixed.
