Hi Michelle, Lovely to see you. Your Lyra is as beautiful as as I knew it would be. I agree with you about the collar. I’ve made three and have had not issues whatsoever with cutting the collar pieces on the straight of grain. We’re obviously missing something 😄 I really like all your makes Michelle; you’ve chosen such pretty fabric. That quilt top uses such pretty colours too. Your quilts seem to be getting bigger and better , maybe it’s time to start one for the bedroom ? 🤔😃. I quite agree that there are lots of other things to be doing as well as sewing. It is lovely to be able to make your own clothes etc. but there is also so much more in life to get pleasure from and gardening is a huge part of that. There is a great deal of satisfaction is that form of creation. Also, you’ve got your choir too. So, until your next video, whenever that may be, keep well, have fun and love as always to your puds Bentley and Misty xx 👩🏻

I agree. I have been spending time in the greenhouse and ofcourse the hot weather necessitates more watering and care. Happy to see you back and whenever you can be here x
I got lazy about cleaning up the garden in the autumn because we had just moved in and were doing some renovations and now it's quite overgrown. I've been tackling it slowly so that it doesn't become an overwhelming chore, I just hope my neighbours bear with me as I get it under control. They all have such pretty gardens, I don't want to be the neighbourhood eyesore!

We are moving house my sewing room is piled high with boxes. Work must be very stressful so you need to be in your garden to unwind xx good luck

Love the scout tee. I've been tempted by the William Morris viscose but thought it may be difficult to work with.

Where I live it’s been go time in the garden. We’re harvesting now so I understand completely about wanting to be in the garden.

Yes I love gardening with pots! You can do so much and move things around to try out different light/shade etc.. great for beginners 👍
