Definitely downloading this, i’m a 14year old camera geek😂,and I haven’t had a camera yet I have been practicing everything you taught on your channel on my phone, thanks for finally uploading an update studio tour, great content love from Nigeria 🇳🇬
You're doing the right thing. It's easy to see videos like this and think you need the pro cameras/gear to make great content. The truth is that the cameras we carry in our pockets everyday are more than capable of the task. As a benefit, you using them to learn the important aspects of this field (shot composition, framing, movements, etc) is what will really pay dividends down the line. Lighting can be tricky to learn using an auto-everything phone, but keep learning and growing! That knowledge will make a huge difference when you reach that point of being ready to upgrade your equipment.
This guy is the best. No BS , no advertising new fancy gears , just cheap cameras, vintage lenses and lot of love to videography. Learned a lot from him. Sometimes I doubted that is there anyone sponsor his videos at all. Feel so wrong
Your Livestreaming room is about the same size as my Vocal booth / A-Roll / B-Roll / Livestreaming studio combined. I'm jealous of that space, and how well organized and practical it is.
your channel is the REAL DEAL I am working my way through your vids since 2010 and learning so much. Love your style and attention to detail. If you thought about doing more stuff on editing in FCPX on your channel you already have a guaranteed viewer here! Thank you for all you create, amazing work.
honestly this channel is my favorite thing, i just appreciate your creative and functional process in making your videos, sure there are other channels "like" yours but for me personally they just don't have the same consistent quality!
Holy hell Caleb!! That is some seriously well organised hoarding!! Very cool setup, I need to sort out my audio too as it's just bouncing off the walls like crazy! I love the mirrors too, so many creative options with those!
I'm about to move into an office space of my own, so it's incredibly helpful to see how you've laid it out! Your pegboard cable wall is something that is especially helpful! I'd love to see a full run down of how you've used your space and the lessons/reasons that motivated you to do so. Likely not great youtube content, but maybe something behind a paywall? I'd pay for it!
I'm overseeing a complete studio overhaul this year and I hate this video. I hate it because it's so unbelievably efficient that I want to copy everything you've done. You share so many incredible ideas for studio space in this video. Thank you for your thoroughness, sir. Don't mind me frame-by-framing this video on repeat for the next 3 months.
The level of DIY goodness is off the charts. I have one of those carts and never thought of using it like that. I shouldn't be surprised considering when I first discovered your channel, you were making a wood ingest box for card readers and hard drives.
Absolutely amazing! The effort needed in running a studio YT channel is often overlooked and this is a good overview as an reminder that it is harder than a lot of people think to be a content creator 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This is probably the most rewarding video for those who has been here since. It is so so great to see Caleb comes along! What a journey!!! I am happy for you, Caleb! 👌🏻🍻
Holy crap you have a lot of gear Caleb! It's easy to take for granted because your vids are so simple and clean but it's no wonder that they always look so professional. Cheers! :)
Great setup Caleb. I'm also taking the opportunity to thank you. I surely don't have as much space as you do but I have been able to pretty well optimise my space and many of my DIY robots (as my wife is calling them) have been inspired by you... so thanks again and congrats for both the studio and the great work...
Holy snapping’ duck shit! That’s waaay more gear than I expected! Fantastic setup, though, and the level of thought and organisation gone into it makes me smile. Thanks a lot for the walk-through, Caleb. 👍🦘😄
I think some of the most interesting stuff is in the stuff you cut at the end. I only say that because you seem very well versed in everything in there so it wouldn't be much of a bore when you're showing us stuff that's part of the process and touches upon more things I love to geek out on. Great video nonetheless, looking forward to more!
I really enjoyed that tripod cart. I have struggled with stand storage for years and that is an intriguing design. Currently I'm storing stands in an 88 key keyboard bag with wheels but if I ever get a serious studio space I'll be designing something like that. Also congrats on having the ability to have a full fledged studio space and not trying to work all of that into your home or garage.
just when i thought you had enough - you show off the lens storage. My jaw did drop quite a bit. Man - I'm really impressed with the way your mind works. Very OCD, but i am too - so cool. I like the 3D printing vibe you have going on. Thank you for sharing. I am building your idea of the teleprompter with the glide gear and small monitor. You have some stellar ideas man - keep sharing....we can all use the guidance and vision you have. Thank you!!
At first I was like, ooooo that's cool. As the video went on, I was like, that's some crazy impressive organization and super clean. Then it kept going and when I saw the lenses finally, my jaw dropped... then the video kept going and I'm just overwhelmed.
I love the aesthetics mixed with practicality. This is my kind of studio! However, I did chuckle to myself when I say your office! I guess I was assuming it would match the aesthetics of your studio! 😂 Super down-to-earth yet practical! Great video!
You are one of the most professional and detail oriented videography TH-camrs out there. I feel like you're missing one thing though, which has allowed Gerald Undone, MakeArtNow and other channels to flourish: Humour. You're the serious kind of guy, I love that and I relate to that...but most people want some jokes thrown in for additional entertainment. Just as an example, I'd expect Gerald to say this at 1:24: ...to be able to see yourself and make sure you're fabulous. Or: ...make sure you don't have salad in your teeth, or a booger up your nose.
Love your innovation and how you repurpose things! Wow what a sweet set up! 👍 Ha ha strange as it may sound, would LOVE to see a video just on the stuff in each of your drawers!
I really enjoyed this and would love to see the rest. It may not seem like it but it's helpful to see your organization even when my operation isn't as big cause it gives me a chance to see things that you do and the solutions you come up with and that helps me figure out a plan of action for my own stuff. Thanks so much
Wow - youtube money is real haha. Wonderful to see you putting your profits back into your business. A smart and in this case fun thing to do! And money aside, you haven't just vomited cash in all directions either - these are clever and tasteful decisions. A genuinely impressive space all around, and none too surprising given who it belongs to. Thanks for the video!
My recording studio is one end of my dining table plus 2 Newer lights, 2 RGB lights, a Rode mic and my iPhone. Needless to say, I'm super envious of your setup. :)
Wow thats years of gear and knowledge all stored up. Great organization and i definitely picked up some ideas. Thanks for this Caleb. Ry formerly from Dubai
I love this tour, and it also makes me imagine that your house/apartment/living space is immaculate and organized. people like me need people like you 😂
I have been looking for something to hang from my ceiling in my basement. Was first thinking sound panels but once I saw those sound blankets (and the price) thats going to be the move!! Thank you again Caleb for a great video!
Absolutely cannot wait for those videos on vintage lenses. I still need to build up my collection, but you absolutely inspired me to look into adapting them for my camera 👀
Godamn.... That's an incredible setup Caleb, especially the audio stuff. That explains why your videos sound so good! (apart from your beautiful speaking voice of course). Thanks for taking us BTS! 😊
I would love to see the other rooms (especially the server room). Also, it looks like you updated your streaming setup. Maybe you could show the changes and discuss why you made them?
Lllooovvveee your set up & space ❤️ I've got 5 vintage lenses at the moment, but I get what you mean when you've an addiction to them! I just want more of them too 🤭🤭
14:42 I have 5 extra lenses I rarely use or need, this makes me feel better, but a little FOMO too, esp for your vintage / older Russian and / or FD collection ;-). Then again I got jealous when I saw your grip head drawer haha
Wow, and I thought I had a lot of stuff. Incredibly well organized though. I also use the peg board to hold my cables, so convenient, but I like your labeling idea, I might try that with mine.

You have been warned! 😅😂😉
The videographer's dream studio 👏
Your Livestreaming room is about the same size as my Vocal booth / A-Roll / B-Roll / Livestreaming studio combined. I'm jealous of that space, and how well organized and practical it is.
It’s bigger than my entire studio. 😕

Same here Mike ;)
This video isn't long enough. Would have loved to see how the other rooms worked.
Your organizational skills as always amazes me.

Caleb: "Yes"
LOL!!!

Thats about right LOLzzzz
I’m beyond impressed with how organized every thing is.
Your studio has become nothing short of amazing over the past years. It's been fun (and educational) watching you refine it.
