I have a 2023 77" C3 TV and it's amazing. OLEDs look so great. I have NO problem with my C3 in a bright sun-lit room getting bright enough to look great.

I agree never thought I would buy a Samsung tv. It wasn’t until I seen qd-oled technology. I was amazed with the picture quality and gaming performance.

I got LG Flagship SOUNDBAR from 2022 but just bought S90C should i keep it or get Samsung SOUNDBAR.
Thanks Caleb, I decided that bluetooth support, wifi 6, and the higher backlight spectrum that could support higher mastering standards in color correction make the 2024 TCL QM851G the right choice for me. I still look forward to your full review once you get your hands on one.
How do you think G4 compares to the A95L? Looking to buy a new flagship TV. Only thing holding me back from getting the G4 is the colours and Blue/Green tint (that I've noticed in person) which WOLEDs suffer from. Didn't notice the QD-OLED magenta tint in person which I've only seen in pictures.

@digitaltrends Contrary to popular opinion I love the look of the soap opera effect and have been looking at upgrading from mini led to OLED. I currently have the qn90b and I am on the fence about going with the LG C3/G3 or Samsung S90/95C. Can you tell me which TV I would be able to push more SOE out of? I don't even notice it at all on my qn90b with motion settings maxed out.

Question unrelated to the video: when you do research on tandem OLED, could you please address the grainy nature on the iPad? And does the increase in brightness by tandem oled cause problems for the eyes? And what could be the replacement work costs in case of damages?

The 65” B3 can be had under 1,000 at various places. Is it worth spending 5-600 more for the C3? I don’t mind the slower processor as I will be using an AppleTV4K

I bought a QN90C for a good price recently. Today a discount was on the 65” LG C3 for $850 at a local shop, sad I missed that one at such a massive discount.
Another great video Caleb. I'm torn between the budget models and getting a high end one at 2023 price drop. I watch a lot of tv here in the UK, mainly soccer and 4k movies and TV series and currently have a Samsung 47 inch curved tv, which is about 7 or so years old now but has served me well. What to do? 🤷
I’m so happy with my 65” LG C3 I bought in January, it’s my 1st oled. It’s perfect for gaming
The C series can be a bit dim for gaming in some scenes, but other than that look incredible, especially during nighttime scenes. OLEDs shine with nighttime content.
S90C is a far better option for gaming. It blows my mind how many people I see praising the C series OLEDs when there are objectively better options at the same price or even lower

@@stephenpatterson8056I agree. I'm guessing because the C3 is a fair bit cheaper. For the 55", $999 vs $1350 and also I believe some of the lower end S90Cs have the cheaper panel but are still priced higher.
@@stephenpatterson8056 I love Samsung's panel technology, but I hate Samsung electronics. If QD OLED panels came on a TV as rock solid as LG then it would be a no brainer.
What is the situation with tcl x955? Haven't seen any reviews on that tv.
Been researching weeks for best TV under $2,500. Can't wait until Tuesday to receive the 77S90C for $1900 at Amazon. Saved $600 waiting for Memorial Day sale. Saved $1,300 over 77S90D 2024 model. Used the savings to get a Q990C for $980 at Greentoe. Saved $420 compared to Amazon. 77S90C > 77C3 and 77G3 is overpriced at $3k
I have the S89C and Q990C setup and it is amazing
Problem with Samsung is I would be afraid that they may eventually nerf the TV via some update later down the road as they have done with the S95B.

Just picked up a 77 LG C3 yesterday replacing my C9 loving it so far had OLED since the E6 was/3D and never went back Love OLED!
Can you notice a big difference? I have the LG CX, and the C3 was on my list to replace it … but from what I read it doesn’t sound like much of an upgrade

I paid $2196 on a black Friday deal that RC Willey price matched back in November. You got a great price and a great television. I've been enjoying mine immensely. The best picture I've seen is the Disney+ series Percy Jackson and The Olympians in Dolby Vision. Set your TV to Filmmaker mode for all inputs. And make sure to go to the help-me videos on the LG C3 to turn off all the unnecessary stuff and that improves your picture. Then use the TV's built-in streaming service to watch the show. That show's picture on my C3 looks absolutely beautiful. Everything seems to have an ultra-realism and glimmer to it. The colors all pop and the whole image is the best I've ever seen on this TV after all the months of watching it since it was delivered December 2nd, 2023.

I had an LG B7V 65 inch from 2017. Unfortunately, burnouts occurred. Yesterday I bought LG G3 65 inches for USD 2,000. Of course, it still needs calibration.
REQUEST: Trying to find the best tv/monitor that really balances TV signals and gaming inputs - preferably with DisplayPort - at 40 inches (+/- 5) in wide screen. All the new tech seems to stop at 55", but I need something for my desktop!

I purchased the 2023 QM8 85in and I couldnt be happier. The TVs brightness really helped with the space it is in. Maybe i shouldve waited for 2024 version for the 5000nits, but i dont regret the sale price in December.

(Have a Samsung QN90C already and don’t like Tizen OS, and have had bad experiences with LG webOS, so the Google TV and screensaver feature was a big selling point)

Bought the Samsung QN90C a week ago. Not mentioned here , but given that I mostly use the TV hooked up to the PC I wanted a QLED over an OLED. And I do believe the QN90C offers a little bit extra over the Hisense U8K mentioned in the video. Can't argue that the Hisense is huge value at the cheap price though. But hey, my Samsung also only came in at 1499 so seemed like a steal.
I bought a 65" U7K for $500 as a secondary TV and tbh might use it as my main until i change that one. Also as someone who works with TVs ill still recommend 2023 models if its easier to explain to the customers and we have it available.
Just bought the LG G3 yesterday. I think it was even less than the $1100 mentioned here but either way, I felt it was the right choice. I can put that money into a new receiver etc.

i had with an LG C3, the smaller panel sizes on the C3 suck, they are way to prone
to banding and poor greyscale performance.
So i have two options i can buy a TCL QM8 at a good discont but my local store warned
me that the upscaling is poor , i watch a lot of lower resolution media, they have advised

Bought the G4 just now for 20% off. My first oled coming from an entry level Samsung 7100 LED from 2018. So hyped. The vendor only listed the TV today and I have a feeling they screwed up and put it on sale right away with the 2023 sale they have going on atm.

Why can’t Display manufactures integrate LTPO 2.0 like smartphones where it can go down to 1hz? It could be used for perfect 24fps movies 25fps pal region content, and improve VRR and reduce power consumption.

I've got 65" 90B and I want to return it, their OS sucks, I can't type anything in apps it jumps by 2-3 signs while writting, also everything is choppy as hell... Unplugging tv helps but only for a while

I agree with a 2023 HDTV versus a 2024 model makes sense financially because the news is that there is a 30% shortage of shipping containers which will affect prices because the increased cost will be passed along to the consumer.
I was open to getting the 55 in U8K, but I ended up getting the 55 in U8N because the Memorial Day discounts ended up making the difference only $100. If I was buying with the regular pricing, I probably would have gone with last years model.

I just got a 75" u8k for under $800 at Best Buy (only in store). Much cheaper somehow than even smaller TVs of the same model. Don't know why it was so much cheaper than online (free delivery, so shipping shouldn't factor in).
Honestly. I bought a oled tv in 2019… i being tempting to get the new ones with the MLA but I promise my self the only tv im truly interested in getting is the new micro led tvs.. im waiting for those.. but seems years away for main stream

@@costasrex476Pretty much. Sony's upscaling tech is unmatched and the TV on a tech level is also unmatched. I'd also like to say the price is unmatched but ah... it's not quite with other brands having $10K TV's out there.
For Memorial Day weekend, Samsclub had the LG C3 65" for $1299 and the 83" for $1849! I picked up the 65" because I thought that price was a steal (comes with a free 5 year warranty as well) but something tells me I should have gone for the 83"....just seemed TOO big.

The lg g4 is a much bigger upgrade for gaming than most people are talking about. The fact that this isn't being talked about is beyond me. It is the first oled that doesn't lose brightness(white or color) in game mode, and 144hz also. The white/color brightness brings it in line with qd oleds as far as gaming.
Then again you can get an s89c, calibrate it and have a super premium display for half the price. I'm an enthusiast and care about those other things you mentioned, I guess..but I certainly recommended the s89c for $1600 to my parents. I had it calibrated and it looks absolutely incredible. Get it calibrated! It looked very bad before that.
Got a 77" s90c for around 1540$ with the EPP discount and chatting with samsung, insane price imo.
Got one a few months ago. SUCH a good TV. After owning it for a bit I continue to be shocked at how many choose to spend more on less capable LG OLEDs
