Cost of this Kitchen: Overall, it costed me 2.8 lacs for everything which included demolition of old kitchen, end to end tiling, electrical points and wiring, plumbing, IKEA kitchen, worktop, delivery and installation.
IKEA charged 2.2 lacs for cabinets, sink, tap, gas hob, lights with remote and wifi fittings., installation and delivery.
I purchased quartz worktop of Kalinga brand from market at 25k.

Hi.. Wanted to know the total cost incurred for ikea kitchen. We are planning to get it done from them.
We paid 2.2 lakhs to IKEA which included all the cabinets, sink, tap and other sink pipes, 3-burner gas hob and cabinet lighting. We bought worktop from local supplier.

can you kindly advise about a guy who will be able to take the quartz counter top you order and fix it with Ikea cabinets, I am based in mumbai. also how did you route the clean water from RO , did you use just the RO outlet on the machine or can one route it to a secondary tap on the sink

I have few question
1) Did I can give you a 10 years warranty on water purifier cabinet.
2) so you didn't installed IKEA countertop in your kitchen so IKEA given you 10 years warranty on your base cabinets
1) Yes, all cabinets have 10 yrs warranty.
2) yes, they had given the option to buy it from external vendor and had confirmed that it will not void warranty.
Very nice kitchen. Just one question how you install countertop after the base cabinet by adhesive or cement? Is there any support under the quartz counter top?
Used adhesive. There is no support under quartz slab. Its not needed. Quartz slab has been directly placed over cabinets.

And what is the paint shade in lobby area.
These are 2x4 feet size tiles. Got it from nearby tiles shop, so don’t remember the brand. It costed me Rs.65 per sq feet.

What about the dead storage on top? You did not show that.Does ikea install cabinets for dead storage? Also the backsplash tiles we have to procure or ikea has provision for that?
No, cabinets touching the ceiling were already there. I just got it repainted. Tiles and civil work was arranged by me.
How does it work they take d measurement n come n install?? Or they make at our home just like any other local carpenter
They take measurements, discuss and finalise design. Deliver pre-made standard cabinets etc. then their team assemble and install in one day at site.
I really liked your videos on home renovation and decoration...I searched you channel but did not find any video for bedroom decoration...have you created one??..if yes please can you share the link...by the way any idea how much might false ceiling creation cost?..room size is 10ft X 12ft...I live in a old house with old chuna walls..planning to get it renovated on a budget...any help will be much appreciated.
I have not yet made video on my IKEA Bedroom design. But will make one soon.False ceiling with Gyproc gypsum sheets (this is best material) would cost around 12,000 .

What is the height of dishwasher counter top vs hobside counter top? Ikea said they cant install dishwasher purchased outside with the regular height.
80cm at hob side and 90 cm at disheasher side. There is nothing like installing dishwashers. They kept place for it as per my dishwasher’s measurements. I had purchased dishwasher and chimney both from Flipkart.

Can you tell the cost of whole kitchen
We have platform ready in Pune. Rest of the items are required like cupboards below and above. Can IKEA help in it ?
Above the platform cabinets can be done through IKEA easily. Under the platform might be an issue, as IKEA first set up the cabinets and then Platform is placed on them. But you can of course check with IKEA.

Its very quick. Once your place is ready, then they visit, next day you make payment. And within 4-5 days, its installed
I don't see peg holes in your cabinets, In their website all cabinets have holes, do they give option to fill those ? or they also have cabinets without holes?
They cover all extra holes with white circular plastic sticker type material. So, they become almost invisible.

I saved 25k by having my own countertop. I had to arrange installation.
I have all the civil work done including new kitchen platform…….in this case can they help with customised installation

Its Particleboard, Plastic foil, Plastic foil with Plastic edging. It gives 10 years warranty on kitchen including all kitchen cabinets, hinges etc.
We are also thinking of getting ikea kitchen, but we are a bit doubtful about the durability of their wood. How is your experience till now?? Is the wood good?? Is it bending or anything due to weight?
It has been almost 2 years now. Not facing any issue. IKEA uses engineered wood (bhusa ply) which is not considered good in quality. But with good lamination and design, I think they achieve durability. They have given 10 years warranty. I am happy with my decision to go with IKEA.
They use lowest grade MDF board not even MR plywood. This is a major concern.

How much time does it take for ikea to complete entire project right from designing upto installation
They charge Rs.1,000 (one thousand ) for designing. Its refunded if total billing is more than 1 lakh. Civil work, tiling, plumbing need to be arranged by customer. Once civil work is done and site is ready, they take 1 day to install.

Do IKEA take orders in goa as they don't have their store here.
They take outstation orders. I know that they were taking kitchen order in Mumbai when they only had their store in Hyderabad. Check with their customer care.

It costed me 2.2 lakhs for 8x9 feet kitchen. This cost included all cabinets, drawers, doors, sink, sink-tap, sink pipe mechanism, lighting, wifi setup for lighting, remote for lights, 3 burner gas stove, installation and delivery.
If I exclude lighting, wifi and gas stove, it would have been 1.9 lacs.
I purchased quartz countertop from market which costed me another 27k.

Per box cost hota he. For 8x10 feet kitchen ka cabinets ka 1.3 lacs laga approx. there is another type of cabinets in which it costs 1.2 lacs also.
