@@STNJ_YT Sullivan has already explained this in a previous comment on another video that it was the mouthwash that he was using at the time that was staining his teeth (some mouthwashes do contain chlorhexidine and cetylpyridinium chloride which stain your teeth). If you look now in comparison to a few months ago, they're not stained as much anymore. I'm guessing he's stopped using that.

For anyone curious about the anime Luke is referencing. It's called Ultimate Muscle and the muscle buster is based off a move called the kinniku buster. It is a wrestling anime and it's lovely❤
Actually long before it was dubbed as Ultimate Muscle it was Kinnikuman back in the 90s. Ultimate Muscle is actually the dub of Kinnikuman Nisei (Next) which is the sequel series.
@@lilsunny7399 And before that it was a manga that began in 1979. The original anime was actually from the 80s. Little rubber figures of all the characters were sold in the U.S. as M.U.S.C.L.E.

Sullivan don’t get enough airtime, needs to do more, he is hilarious, and when he is in there with Pete and Luke, it’s pure comedy 🤣🤣🤣
My favourite finisher is Kenta Kobashi's Burning Hammer: used only seven times for seven wins. Unbeatable.

Sullivan is most definitely a comedy genius. He is the gift that keeps on giving. He could absolutely be a tv talk show host, he’s simply effortlessly funny.
The one winged angel works because it is convoluted. The whole point is that there are multiple opportunities for the opponent to escape. The tension is therefore "Can they escape the move before Omega hits it?" rather than "Can they kick out?". That is why it works as a nobody kicks out finisher.
I helps that Kenny has the v-trigger so the majority of his matches get finished with that, only resorting to it when he needs to.
I also like it because it's named after Sephiroth and he is one of the coolest video game characters of all time without a doubt in my mind
@@Prosecutor_DarthDecidui Sephiroth is the video game version of a neckbeard grinding himself to orgasm against a Pokimane body pillow while listening to "I'm Not Okay" on an eternal loop.
It's essentially like to wrestling what the Raging Demon/Shun Goku Satsu is to Street Fighter. It's the move where it's not a question of if the opponent can survive it, it's whether they can avoid it entirely.
Exactly. And the aura around the move (that *nobody* kicks out of it) also allows you to build an entire match around "Can Kenny hit the One Winged Angel?" For example, Omega/Okada 1 had that as the basis of the story they told in the ring. Okada managed to avoid it every time Kenny got him up for it, and was desperately trying to avoid it. It put over Kenny *and* the One Winged Angel, even in defeat, while also showing Okada as extremely skilled and cunning in avoiding it.
Steiner maths is the better promo. This episode had me in stitches, thanks to Sullivan. I would have the gore, RKO and tombstone as my top 3.
Black Mass is my number 1, love all variations from the lifting of the heads version to the out of nowhere, it’s gorgeous fits Aleister so much
Love how Luke and Sullivan’s list are dripped in nostalgia while Pete picked some more current ones.
Little surprised there weren’t more high flying moves besides the moonsault. The shooting star press is a thing of beauty imo.

The claymore is so unbelievably underrated I remember watching WM 40 with my cousin who doesn’t watch wrestling and he just screamed “OH MY GOD” after the first claymore because of the sheer impact it has, I just wish Drew would do it out of nowhere more Nevermind thank you Pete you are incredible
This is oddly specific but Sullivan laughs like the corn looking alien from Men In Black 2 in the basement and I hear it every single time

Spear isn't a finisher for Goldberg though. I'm not a fan of Roman's spear (in part because the spear had been so overused and predictable by the time Roman came along).

I've always love Test's Big Boot because it always has that insane impact from his long legs. That man kicks straight through anyone he hits with that.
Remember his Gutwrench Powerbomb? One of the best looking ones I've ever seen. Never created a character without it.

The RKO can come outta' nowhere. But DDP made sure the Diamond Cutter transitioned outta nowhere. Powerbomb? Nope, BANG! DDT? Nope, BANG! Fireman's Carry? Nope, BANG!
I hate it that the Kanyon Kutter gets overlooked as the true progenitor of the RKO. The whole Positively Kanyon character was a master class in how to sell a over-the-top bonkers gimmick. The Kanyon Kutter bits will always be, in my mind, the bridge between the Diamond Cutter and the 'RKO outta nowhere.' Chris was criminally underrated, and I hope he's found peace in whatever comes after this life.
This might be the best presenter combo going. So much genuine fun and vibing off each other
My all time favourite has to be the rainmaker. Talk about a finisher elevating any occasion. The pose, the build, the twirl, and the impact. RAINNNNMAAAKKERRRR!!!!

Luke's logic was one hundred percent correct. How many pipebombs have there actually been in wrestling..... There was one Steiner math that even my non wrestling fans have watched the clip. TNA referenced it with Petey Williams who was involved in the original promo and Steiner walks into frame and gets involved. The new day broke it out and immediately invoked Steiner by name and Ciampa busted it out for a surprise pop against Scott's nephew. Steiner math>pipebomb.
@@Fluffyudders but by that logic pipebomb isn't great either. Because you can't just say pipebomb and everyone consenus say oh you mean punk. Heyman had three alone before 06, MJF had one or two, Punk himself had three others. Hell, Joey Styles had a pipebomb..... Say Steiner math and it's enough said. While i agree it's so bad its good verging on The Room...... that's about as far as agreeing goes in this topic

Seeing Sullivan on another one of these TLC lists just warms my heart and brings loads of needed laughs to my day (especially after a bad work day). I'm not going to lie, I was surprised by Pete's #1. I can't say I'd have put the Stunner at #1 personally (The Attitude Era was at least a decade gone by the time I discovered wrestling), but it was worth it just to see Luke's and Sully's reaction.
Hope you don't mind, but I've got my personals here, some from playing games, some/most from watching wrestling admittedly/my own opinions....but most just appeared off the top of my head in the moment of writing this 😅:
1. Styles Clash.
2. The Rainmaker (Because I'm a Okada fan since NJPW, and I smirk and pop loudly whenever Okada hit it).
3. Tombstone Piledriver.
4. Stone Cold Stunner.
5. Scorpion Death Lock/The Sharpshooter (I prefer the Scorpion Death Lock more personally, but they are the same move regardless).
6. Swantom Bomb.
7. RKO/Diamond Cutter (I couldn't pick between either, so they are both on this).
8. Dirty Deeds/Deathrider (The non-elevated version)/Future Shock DDT.
9. GTS/Go To Sleep.
10. Bayley-to-Belly. (I'm a Bayley fan, and this is the move that I often pop for when Bayley hits it. Her "Rose Plant" finisher is fine, but I prefer the "Bayley-to-Belly").
If I had to do honorable mentions: Bank Statement, "Yes!" Lock, One-Winged Angel, "Last Call Superkick" (James Storm's finisher), Bladerunner/Sister Abigail, Spear (Bobby Lashley's/Moose's version), Scorpion Death Drop, Angle Slam.

I personally think Drew McIntyre’s Claymore is the best finisher in wrestling today. I also think Steiner Math’s is better than the Pipebomb

So correct. A much more genuine pipebomb than the pipebomb. Taking the rowdiest bunch of wrestling fans possible and literally correctly telling them why they're damaging the industry and calling them out on their enabled behaviour. Also, Punk's best promo is the "Charismatic Enablers" promo dressed as Jeff Hardy, not the pipebomb.

My honorable mention is Kairi Sane's InSane Elbow. By far the best elbow drop. Always looks incredible, she gets so much height and so much impact despite her small frame. There's a good reason that even though Asuka is the more established star, it's Kairi's finisher that the Kabuki Warriors use to win their matches.
This was the best episode of TLC! Absolutely hilarious pandemonium and wrestling moves 😍.

Wild not seeing the F5, Figure 4, End of Days, and the Last Shot which was the best finisher in the business for awhile. Sister Abigail was perfect for that gimmick, and I’ve always loved the Banks Statement. The 3D and Meltzer driver I’m surprised didn’t get a mention. PACs Black Arrow also should be on a list. That thing is always a sight to behold.
Pete did mention the 3D but he's right Shatter Machine is just the 3D but better. instead of a cutter it's a flapjack into a double knee facebreaker.
Im surprised nobody said the styles clash when AJ does that styles clash you’re in awe how beautifully AJ can execute it and if someone doesn’t tuck their chin in it could legitimately break your neck so not only is it insanely cool but it could be devastating ON ANYONE

The difference of the spirit bomb from other Powerbombs is that if the opponent is smashed to the mat, they then bounce of so high making it more destructive visually

Future list idea: best/worst match type/stipulation. Hell in a Cell, First Blood, War Games, Bullrope, ___ on a Pole, Buried Alive, Evening Gown, Punjabi Prison, Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match... there's plenty to choose from on both the good and bad ends of the spectrum, especially if you're willing to deep dive and grab some of the real obscure ones. Just a thought, love the show.

I always loved Test's Big Boot. I don't know if it was a Signature move or a Finisher but when he wore those reflective wrestling pants, and the speed he'd reach going into those Boots made it look so lethal... plus Test was a tall guy with long legs. Looked very fitting for a finisher.
Sullivan delivers it so humorously, but if you think about it, “And i wish i had told them the truth” is the coldest line in pro wrestling history.

I have always loved Jeff Hardy’s Swanton Bomb. ❤
I agree with Sullivan, the People's Elbow is not a good finishing move. However I would say its a great theatrical move. Its the kind of move that the fans get on their feet for, helped by the way the Rock builds to the move with the removal of the elbow pad and the running of the ropes. Popping the crowd is the one job it does extremely well and sometimes thats all a move needs to do.
Also, Math>Pipebomb. Dan screwed Luke! We all saw it! We all witnessed the Pipebomb Screw Job on Wrestlemania Weekend.
No Steiner Screwdriver/Drill Claw is wild.
