I thought it's about time we revisited everyone's favorite band of thieves and see if we can beat my previous time, yes? id love to see you do a “skyrim for dummies” vid, i recently bought the game but feel overwhelmed by how much there is to do/how many options there are!

Just do what u want and make the play through unique to u.
That's why you can do multiple playthroughs with a different character and check the stuff you missed
If you play with a 'completionist' mentality, I dont think you will enjoy it as much. Don't worry about completing everything, just go exploring. You'll have a far better experience.
When I first played, I didnt realise you could pay for a cart to fast travel to Riverwood. I really wanted to meet the Greybeards though, so I walked all the way around the mountain. Since a was a low level, I died so many times, especially to the Sabre Tooth tiger, which took me near an hour to get past. But I discovered so much and had a lot of fun. It's still one of my best memories from the game.
Would love that! I've done similar, had it on PS3 in the day but couldn't get into it, got the Legendary Edition on PS4 and trying my best but like you say its overwhelming
I can't get my head around alchemy or enchanting whatsoever, I just mash random ingredients in hit and hope fashion to get .. anything, then with enchanting gear I don't know what I'm doing or more specifically how to do it. Then I've all these ingots, leather, ore etc, I go to the stations to craft but I'm struggling with the UI
More little tidbits too I'm a bit lost on, followed a guide for adoption and another for marriage but a bit lost on property, differences between spells ie I've like 4 lightning related spells and no idea what is the best and using 2 different lightning spells i assume is redundant, or do they stack? Combine fire and ice for greater effect or does it not work that way? Also the perk system is a bit of a maze, I'm like a quarter or a half into loads of different routes but accidentally, like I wanted to be an ice wizard but seem to have loads in conjuring etc but my destruction spells do little damage
Granted I am a bit dense, took me a while to realise alteration was health heh, I won't give up on it a second time but feel a bit detached
I also can't ever go to riften, I got a bounty really early and it's spiralling to a point I can't come close to paying for it and I went to prison, couldn't work out what was supposed to happen and escaped, which has caused even more problems, I want to visit but I'm attacked on sight
I always like to do the thieves guild quest. The nightingale armour is by far my favourite set in the game. So I'm glad to see you attempting to beat all your previous speedruns
Saaame! I do think it's my favorite faction in the game and the Nightingale armor is just gorgeous. I would love to have a set in real life

I LOVE the thieves guild quest line in Skyrim so much. Favorite quest line in the game probably. Play it so many times. Excited for this episode!

You can pickpocket anyone while being seen without getting a bounty by the way. It just depends on the percentage and if you fail, *then* you’ll get a bounty and people will become hostile.
Love all these elder scrolls videos, they usually end up in my autoplay menu I'm Def not complaining they put me to sleep
Yeah, I think it's because of the length! TH-cam likes to promote videos with a higher view average so obvious it's way higher on a long video. That's just a bonus for me because I love making them
the only problem with more skyrim videos is that the more you speedrun them, the shorter the videos get!

I just recently started playing this game again. Definitely a amazing game.
I started watching your videos in 2020 to kill time at school (all the skyrim speed runs) and it’s so fun to see it come back full circle to another theives guild run!
Did you know that u don’t have to plant the ring on brand-Shei? If u drop the stolen ring u can tell brinuolf that u lost the ring and it immediately moves on to the next quest. This also lets you keep an extra merchant in riften

Tip: You can press ‘B,’ ‘O’ or tab to speed up ‘forced dialogue’ unless it’s a daedric prince.

1:18:00 You can get the key and permission to enter the museum from Calcelmo after killing Nimhe the spider for him in the excavation site.

Very relaxing lol also funny tbh but a fun trick if u ever wanna do a faster speed run u can actually skip their dialogue by running into the person talking and bumping them and it skips their dialogue also if ur stuck in a dialogue then press like the our button for me on ps4 it’s circle and it skips the dialogue like for example when sabjorn and the captain guard guy were doing their bit u could run into em and it skips it when their talking and stuff

The reason why Brynjolf didn’t scold you is because he specified beforehand that you could kill Aringoth if he got in your way.
