- Hitman: Absolution is one of the best worst games ever. Its the best because it has a level that takes place in a gun store, and it's the worst because all of the other levels are not gun store levels. But even with this massive flaw, it still manages to be an enjoyable third person shooter.

This is honestly one of my favorite games of all time. It was unique, brutal and the scene when the girl goes off was well earned and a surprise.

I tried to play this game long after release and after stealthing my way through both Dishonored games. I was playing it wrong.

Reminds me of the Hitman reboot where they released a bonus scenario for Sapienza or wherever and spent five minutes explaining what a bad person this one politician is before panning down to me at the back of the audience for one of his speeches... so, out of the seven or so incredibly convoluted ways to kill this douchebag, I picked option 8: Spending five seconds casually drawing my gun, pointing it at his noggin and pulling the trigger. Could almost feel IOI's disapproval as I ran down the catacombs to lose the coppos with extremely pro stealth.

7:31 Sometimes I forget this is an H*R channel, but then you whip out The Il Cartogropher and throw me back into the two thousand zeroes.
Honestly point shooting is the one feature I was a bit disappointed that it didn't return in the new Hitman games, it should've been at least in the easiest difficulty. It'd make sense for the superhuman assassin with superhuman reflexes to be able to do something like that. Plus it was fun as fuck.
I remember this game getting shit on because it's way too linear. I think that criticism is ultimately what made the new Hitman games be open world.
Absolution is almost literally a linear shooter
I only bought the game so IOI would develop a proper Hitman game again.
@@Mirokuofnite I like the Hitman games but I get bored quickly with them. Roaming around a level to get the perfect stealth kill becomes too tedious for me after a few hours of play time

you missed out on some of the goofy melee weapons and more importantly the scarecrow disguise in the cornfield, which is the only good stealth section

finished this game recently never finished it the the first time i played it back when it came out back then i thought it was a cool game now i see it didnt age well , you can beat most levels non sneaking and the levels are annoying if you somehow manage to do them silently
