    That heart in the middle of the log cabin is really cute!

    This is the best video I have seen on how to hang a wall quilt. What I've been avoiding has suddenly become simple. Thank you!

    Thanks! I'll try this. I like the tip about the tab in the middle for additional support. I've seen this technique from others who suggest the corner pockets but I've always wondered about the problem of sagging. Having a tab eliminates. Such a simple thing. Why didn't I think of that? hahahaTo avoid any stitching as in tacking down the tab perhaps some stitch witchery could be used. Or any double-sided fusible.

    I’m new at quilting and was hoping to see the next step with the dowel inserted and how to hang it.

    Great tips! I have used the corner triangles on the back, but adding the tab in the middle is a game changer. Thank you!

    Thank you for this wonderful idea! I always forget to think about what I am going to do with my quilts until they are all bound. Then I need to add pockets by hand! Now, I will routinely put the appropriate pockets on the backs.

    Excellent advice! I have used such cornerpockets but the tab for wider small quilts is SO clever! Thank you very much! :D

    Thank you for the information on the quilt hangers, Sherri could you do a video tutorial on the bags you showed in the video what’s in my bag? I have purchased the two smaller patterns, the one with all the notions in it, is the one I need help with. Thank you for all your videos I love them all.

    For a wall hanging that is 48 inches wide would you suggest doing a rod pocket the entire length or the corner sleeves with a few tabs?

    I love those mini quilts! Do you do your own free motion quilting? If so do you have any tutorials? I’m struggling and I’d love to make some mini quilts. And do my own quilting

      Occasionally I'll do my own quilting just on small projects. I have a cross-hatch quilting tutorial on my blog but none with free motion. Thank you for the idea, though!

    Are you putting these on a curtain rod? I am trying to picture what to use to hang it up on the wall.

    How do you hang a big quilt if you decide after it’s completed ?

  • @marlenesalamandyk878

    How do you hang it so the hooks don't show above the quilt?

    • @sherrimcconnell4094
      @sherrimcconnell4094 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Use the clear plastic command hooks :) Also, there are different styles, and some show less than others and are almost completely hidden by the quilt.

    BUT! What happens if you've already bound it? I have a bound wall hanging that's about 29" wide. Now what?

    • @janellvincent8046
      @janellvincent8046 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      This has happened to me too. I finally just unstitched the binding area and inserted a long hanging sleeve under the binding so I didn’t have to undo the corner binding and hand stitched the binding back into place. Surprisingly it didn’t take as long as I thought it would.
