I really like the thinking behind project zero. It totally makes sense and it's something that would be a standard already if there weren't so many players in the market.
Project Zero is good. I like the 'ASUS version' too, but I refuse to buy ASUS after all thats happened in the last year or 2. so MSI get my money. I see Cyberpower on their website seem to work very closely with MSI, as a lot of their boards are MSI - real shame they didnt hike the price up a little and put in a white motherboard, and a white GPU - unless they ran out of stock and if that is the case then they should really have canned this build and went black and came up with something else. Surely these videos are meant to show people in the UK what they can do, and surely the first thing a kitguru audience will do after looking at specs will say, 'well this has just been hashed together quickly without much thought'. Shame, they missed an opportunity.
Finally, a pre-built system that feels like it’s stepping into the future, both in design and performance. The aesthetic shift with Project Zero is more than just eye candy-this cable-free approach feels like a turning point in PC design. And while the performance benchmarks speak for themselves, what intrigues me is the balance CyberPower strikes here: the build looks sleek, but it doesn’t shy away from raw power. I can’t help but wonder if this clean, minimalist design is where high-end gaming rigs are heading. Imagine a future where every PC is this elegant.
Thanks Mat, your reviews are getting better and thanks for removing the wall of graphs and using real world testing, its much easier on the eye and interactive for video
I dont think the black GPU looks too bad, the mobo kinda suits it as its black in parts too. silver or white would be better however and vertically mounted- DO these guys offer vertical GPU?
A beautiful build. I'm all for Project Zero. My concern is the components: the motherboard has only one GPU connector power - remember that when testing suspect GPUs you often put them in another slot. Never mind other slots being used by powered cards. And does the motherboard have an adapter for a non-project zero GPU? Equally, how do you use that GPU in a non-PZ motherboard?
The overall look is fine, but its hard to overlook the mismatching on the colours - the case I quite like so thats not an issue even thought I know you guys didnt rate it too highly overall
Wow this video is up for all to see with hardware that visually doesn’t match. Why would they want everyone seeing this as a showcase of what they do 😮
The black cables at the back dont bother me, as they are hidden out of sight, but who thought putting that massive black GPU in it was a good idea. is the new replacement card white now?
