    Thank you. I primarily fly the 16,but it's time for me to come back to the 18 again. The toughest thing is finding the similar functions that are under different names for the bindings.

      I know right can't they be consistent with the naming. Thank god for chucks guides with his binding pages!

    Also recommend which mihgt just be new cause this is 2 years old but newer players
    - ECM mode you can cycle it from OFF all the way to JAM, might be useful if you are being locked and going cold.
    - Dispenser Bypass/auto if you want to use a program or just dump some flares/chaff manutally, also switching these around shows your count of remaining dispenses on your SA page or another can't remember by heart the name. ( bottom left of one of them for sure)
    - MFD AIR Radar, scale up/down, aziumth up/down, BAR (vertical scan size) up/down, maybe also clean and freeze.
    - on SA page, you want NEXT target that it highlights with a YELLOW BRACKET and giving you info about said target, range as well (single top button to cycle through)
    EDIT: also afterburner gate if applied, and there is a button to disengage the safe flying mode, which gives you extra turning radius but might break your wings off if used too harshly.
    overall really well done video!

    How do I get the hat switch working to look around in the cockpit?

    • @Afty86
      @Afty86  ปีที่แล้ว

      Search in the hotkeys section 'view' and you should see some commands like view up slow, view down slow etc. Please let me know if you can't find it and I'll look in game!

    There is a key combination to make a small diagram appear in the lower left area of the screen that shows what your joystick, rudder, and throttle commands are currently set at. It looks like a cross made out of red lines with a horizontal line below the cross and a vertical line to the left of the cross with a little index that moves on those lines to indicate the current settings. I would like to have this because sometimes my feet might move my rudder pedals a little unintentionally without knowing it and I'll wonder why my flight path is straying off line. If I have that diagram up on the screen, I can readily see that the rudder is not centered without having to look down at the pedals in the cockpit. Do you know what the keyboard combination is to enable it?

      Hi Keith, the show controls keybind is right control enter. Let me know if that works.

    what button locks the enemy planes?

    • @Afty86
      @Afty86  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends if you are using The AA radar you need to make it the sensor if interest and use the TDC to move the cursor over the contract then you need to make sure your radar elevation is right. Then TDC depress on the contract to lock. I should do a tutorial on this. Thanks!

      On your keybinds tab are you setting it up under f18 Sim or game? Make sure you are setting up under the Sim tab.

    I've only got one axis for thrust, as I use the X52 G pro. When I try to assign the Z axis, which is my throttle it wont let me assign it to both engines at the same time. Am I supposed to assign it to "Thrust" instead of Thrust left and right?
