Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Oh man! That's brilliant what you did with the firework effects! Hasbro really should sell those effects separately in a pack or something. I'm sure people would buy em up all the time.

Hrishikesh Saikia ok ok. The Spider-Man homecoming tech suit is pretty good, but you may have to order it. There is also a Spider-Man homecoming two pack, with iron man and Spider-Man. Also the first ten years cap and crossbones two pack is really good! IMO the age of ultron hulk is the best hulk, but it’s quite old, so you’ll probs have to order in as well, and I don’t really know anything about Thor. Of you want a Hawkeye I would suggest the recent ronin figure, that’ll be in store. Also if you want the quantum suits, get the endgane two packs, and the endgame cap. It’s not very film accurate, but you’ll get some fun out of it. If you want mcu figs, I’ll suggest the first ten years wave. It’s got a lot of improved mcu figures, and a bunch of good two packs. If you have any more questions hit me up 🤙

Hrishikesh Saikia yeah me too. It sucks and it tends to cost twice the price and it takes ages to get here! But my friends going to America soon, and he’ll go to a Walmart or something and find me a figure. One thing though, it’s a good move to only collect mcu figures, because that limits your choices a lot, so you don’t get overwhelmed. I’m a relatively new collector, and I have only limited my choices to: “figures I like”. Suffice it to say, it’s hard. Right now, I’m trying to complete a baf, but the caliban wave is awesome, and I need at least half of those figures. And I tend to buy like one figure a month, which SUCKS! So yeah, hang in there bud!
The shades came right off on mine, no breakage or anything either.
You can take off the sunglasses. It worked fine for me.
Frank Castle Yeah, I nudged mine. I could see that they were a little bit glued but came off with little effort.
I like using the Dazzler effect accessory. Using the different colored electric effects work too.
I was able to just slide the glasses up on the normal head and it works great! I’ll tweet you a picture.

The gold pieces at least for her earrings represented the X-men logo and I believe had her name in them.
The glasses on my non bubble head popped right off with no problem at all.

I just got this figure (along with Blink) from Hasbro Pulse today. I love it. I looked to see if you had a review of it, but you only had Beast and Gambit. Then, while perusing other videos I saw this Jubilee review pop up! Nice! My only nitpick (other that the obvious lack of power effects that you already mentioned) is being able to see the pink through the gap in the arm holes of the trench coat. (This is a common peeve of mine.) Either make the opening tighter, or at least paint a yellow area around the shoulder connection point. In fact, I often do the paint fix myself. (I just fixed the 3.75" Force Awakens Starkiller Base Han Solo with winter coat. [The super-posable Walmart version.]) I will do the fix with this figure as well. She is really great though. Now if we could just get an Albert and Elsie Dee two-pack.
I'm digging this figure a lot. I started reading X-Men with the Wolverine title back in 1990 when Larry Hamma had Jubilee as Logan's unofficial sidekick. So I'm gonna have to pick this one up. As far as the ear rings and button, if you look at the comics in the early 90's you'll notice the ear rings and button have Jubilee's name on them. I'm kinda bummed about the lack of accessories, but I have the BAF effects and I can just use those. She should have come with a Slurpee too. In the early 90's Jubes was all about the Surpees. She even complained in Wolverine #75 that the Blackbird didn't have a Slurpee machine in it. LOL

If you have the new Lightning Collection White Ranger figure, he comes with an effect piece that kind of works for Jubilee.
So So So happy to finally have a Jim Lee Jubilee. I do have the vampire Jubilee but this one was my most anticipated.
They could have given her a fireworks hand. Take the design of the Ronin shuriken throwing hand, but instead of ninja stars, just fill the clear parts with glitter...that would be great imo.
It would be cool to have a Marvel Legends of Proxima Midnight comic book version and Supergiant.

My jubilee came with 3 glasses. If you remove the glued ones on her head. You can put the other ones on her none bubble gum head. Fit perfect. Raise them up on her forehead.

The drum in the background gave me flashbacks of the dorkroom tours, it could be nice having it playing in the backround of regular eviews, maybe done by your daughter! xD

Speaking as a 90s kid, I love the look and totally 'default' Jubilee to this appearance because it's what I first saw her as, but is anyone else with me that her clothing choices are strange?
Just as clothes I can imagine a teen picking up the shorts and the shirt, sure, and even the blue boots because they're colorful and stand out. I can also see her getting the visor as a pair of shades, again because they're colorful and they make her stand out but also because she wants some eye protection from her still-uncontrolled discharges.
It's the rest of the outfit that throws me off. Color coordinated to her boots or not, idk that wearing gloves was ever a trend. And that yellow... trenchcoat? looks like Jubilation's parents made her go out with a raincoat so often that one day she just said 'f it' and made it part of her ensemble.
I know. I was wondering why the fuck she was dressed so weird.
Just found her at my Barnes and Noble. The shades were off center so I peeled them off and reglued they back on.

Personally I would use the new effects we got from Infamous doom and maybe that pink hex effect we got with Klaw.

One of the face sculpts should have had subtle slots in the hair to allow the sunglasses to rest there.
The earrings and emblem on the chest are supposed to be the X logo. Yeeeah..they didn't really come out that way. Such a drastic improvement over the previous. I sold mine as soon as this one was announced.

I noticed with the upcoming 2 pack Juggy and with this Jubes. ( and tons of other figs ) But really realizing I wish the matte paint finish on the plastic in the chest was there with all the plastic. I know different plastics and paints are used so it can be a mixed bag. But yeah when somethings isn't supposed to look glossy it can really throw the fig off.

Love the review. Adore the figure. Yet... this Legend saddens me at the same time. It makes me glum because girls like Jubilee never liked me in my youth. Come to think of it, most girls didn't like me in my youth. The Buddy Holly look was definitely out in the 90s.

2:10 maybe the red eyes are a reference to jubilee now being a vampire, so you can sutomize the figure without painting the eyes

sucks she has no effects piece, her second head's eyes aren't straight (on mine, the left eye looks off to the side rather then straight forward) and she can't bend at her diaphragm/ upper torso joint much, if at all .. but I still like the figure
