This format is very rough. I remember Marcus in his Rikka deck profile (1st place European Championship) said something like "Spright and Tearlaments are so broken, that you can't really play fair card like Ash."

There was a Dark MAgician Endymion representation in OCG don't recommend terrible takes away your S/T zones for your normal spells to resolve for counters.
i agree that 5 Illusion is the way to go but why not play 3 prep and 2 IOC. if you draw multiples you can just send the other copies of prep with magicians souls for fresh draws where 2 illusion in hand would mean 1 of them is unusable

Prep also isnt once per turn in case you play other rituals like sauravis or that other dm ritual. And if you play a dedicated ritual spell (sadly secrets doesnt count) prep can even go +1. Probably not worth running ARA just for that but in case anyone does its there
@DarkSorcerer94 you can also play 3 and 3 if you really want to but yea i would say 3 prep 2 illusion is the way to go. That way you have 1 more slot in your deck to put in disruption or extenders and you wont really brick on multiple illusion in hand
Set rotation could also work over metaverse since you play 3 field spells anyway and what is your opponent gonna do with Village

Branded version of this deck is kinda nutty. You can consistently make boards with Dragoon + Mirrorjade and if you have secret village on the field gg ez win because your opponent is not playing through an Omni negate + banish without being able to activate their board breakers. But if you don't want to play the branded package you can just play a small dogmatika package, since it also allows you to play Schism and make Winda. Winda + Secret Village once again is gg ez win.
this is better becuase floodgates are better
Dragoon + Mirrorjade is not a good end board

You play all 3 the dogmita package the branded package and the flood gate package and add two elder lich as versatile removal.

I'm actually pretty impressed by the changes to this deck compared to the last one. Personally don't like mine and floodgates (I just play regular traps) but gotta do what you gotta do to win.

I literally cannot fathom why tf youd play 3 IOC (A HARD ONCE PER TURN) instead of 3 Prep. The correct ratio is 2 IOC and 3 Prep. More cards that you can send for draws, and no once per turn restriction at all.

@@danday97 My guess is he probably used Monster Timaeus on one turn and then recycled it again on another turn with Soul Servant. It’s not impossible to do but yeah it doesn’t happen often except in the games where you’d already have the upper hand.
@@danday97 i dont know if he said in the same turn but, if he recycles stuff he can do it some times, I think with a combination of hard drawing dark magician and the dragon, you can do it in 1 turn also consider that the spell is a quick spell so he can use it in the opponent turn and have 2 dragoons but it's unlikely.

Make it with timaeus but he can’t make it again unless his enemy’s have nothing and he uses the soul servervent but that seems wasted since you already go -2 or 3 sometimes making dragoon with timaeus why not magicalized or even ref magicalized and straight up cut timaeus also.
