Awesome video!! KTM makes the best videos. Everyone else just pans around the bike that's going 30 mph and uses sound effects and music to make seem like it's going fast.

Guys do something with the 2020 version of this bike.it has got extremely high fuel tank and shorter rear seat which make it look a bit ugly comparing with the previous version.hope you guys will solve it.

I just bought a 08 KTM 990 super duke and I'm japanese.... I'm fantasisting on what a 1290 would be like but that is over my budget fo having some fun. I love my new to me 990 SD so much and love watching 1290 videos because I own a piece of a 1290!

I'd Rather Ride Tuono? Ducati Streetfighter? Maybe the Monster. KTM is above the latter two and the Tuono is really the only competition but if Aprilla thinks a smaller lower faring and handlebars vs clip ons equals a naked bike, they are silly!
La moto è una bestia veramente niente da dire!!! Però ho avuto la sfortuna di rompere il cerchio anteriore su una buca, il ricambio non disponibile all'ordine per 45 giorni. Risultato almeno 60 giorni moto ferma in box, incredibile!!!!
Anche l'assistenza deve far parte della qualità di una moto.

It's funny how boring all the Japanese bikes feel compared to the new KTMs...
I just went from a 990 Super Duke to an fz09. It feels like the fz's are the only bike comparable but they still lack the aggressive styling and balls-out insane power. The 1290 is a head above them all for sure, but man, the fz line is a lot of fun for a lot less money and maintenance IME.

100% true! I have done 11000kms with my 690 Duke R. Zero problems with it. Only normal maintenance done. People have weird presumptions against KTM. Maybe they're just trying to make themselves feel a bit better with their Japanese bikes. That's my guess...

I'd Rather Ride dude, 2007 super duke 990 DOES require maintenance when you ride it 100 miles a day then also take it to the twisties. I completely agree the intervals are better on the 1290 but parts are still expensive (as they should be) and here, street KTM shops are hard to find, a good ktm mech is even harder. just giving my $0.02 from an older LC8 motor perspective.

en primer lugar la moto no tendría llave para arrancar la moto, yo si fuese ustedes incorporaría un chip de Microsoft para en caso de robo no me lleven la moto, porque el chip lo tengo en el cinto del pantalón o en el bolsillo o en la camisa o en el reloj, o metido dentro del culo jajajajaja, con este sistema no te pueden robar la moto ya que el chip de Microsoft lo tengo escondido, segundo las cubiertas estarían masisas por dentro o usaría el sistema Rhino Tire para no quedar tirado en la ruta si se pincha la rueda, tercero, el tablero seria mi celular en donde con una aplicación APP se transforma en velocímetro, marcador de nafta, GPS, llamadas telefónicas por contestación automática, cuarto, la moto tiene escondido varias cadenas de apoyo para que en caso de caída no se raye, quinto, la cadena de transmisión corona, osea la cadena se tensa de manera automática dependiendo la cantidad de kilómetros para mejores aceleraciones, sexto, el asiento y las manoplas y el cubre piernas seria todo calefacionado, séptimo, si quieren mas innovaciones me avisan este es mi Twitter @evolutiondesig y mi teléfono es 2494512597 soy de Argentina, mi ciudad es Tandil.
