Can’t see squat without your mask, right, and there was enough chlorine in the pool to fry an egg. We helped each other separated and had to put dive gear back together perfect in 3 minutes or less, right? BUUUT Wait, WUUUT! Felt no regulator or hose anywhere! Da Fuq! I felt in-between the tanks and found the regulator. Tried but couldn’t reach the mouthpiece. It’s there but I couldn’t get my lips around it. Da Helll! My whole rib cage was full spasmodic. Dude had spun the mouthpiece upside down! I hit the purge button and wound up sucking bubbles and water for a couple breaths when I saw this wall of bubbles zoom over toward my face. My buddy’s air. Re-gear right quick! 1. Air supply 2. Clear mask 3. All straps, including fins. 4. Fins Masks on, we inspected each-other’s gear to put right, then got the all clear to surface. Beware the backward mouthpiece.
