Maybe in their eyes (if they have them), Steve is the best employee, in terms of enthusiastic aggression. 😆 I always feel vulnerable in the ducts, even though so far they've been pretty safe. If there is a future chase scene in the ducts...I won't be happy. What was your take on the "hallucination" with Ashley that Simon was having? Do you think his mind created that, or do you think the WAU (or something else) placed that in there?
@@wonderasiwander3964 Well I notice that Simon was left embedded in the glowing growths for that scene, like a lot of other humans we find just sitting there breathing roughly while wrapped up in that stuff. Some of the others, if you get super close, Simon can "hear" them having conversations with unseen people. So I think it's the WAU's way of keeping them content or maybe even happy while held prisoner. I think Simon was able to get out of it because he's mostly robot. Also the WAU has access to everyone's scan, I think, so that's how it knows what to do to make people happy in their dreams. Simon clearly had feelings for Ashley, since when she asked him something like "Don't you want this?", he said, "Well, yeah," so it was probably a good guess by the WAU.
Thank you, that's interesting. It's really think that the WAU and Catherine have a lot in common, in that there's this desire to keep humans "alive," but the methodology is flawed. I don't know, it'll be cool to see how this all ends.
Hey, there! Two things: 1) Even though I had increased the gamma some, during this part of the game it got super dark in some places. I know the game is doing it for scary ambience, but I'm sorry if any parts are too dark. 2) I want to apologize to the main monster (Akers): Akers, I said you had no arms, but clearly you have little T-Rex arms. I still don't know how you were able to get down the stairs so fast, but I wanted toi issue a clarification on your behalf. 😆
