Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for the professional video, like everyone else it was the original blade and was pretty stuck on there. I got a breaker bar and WD40 and eventually broke it loose. Thank you for getting to the point without a lot of like and share crap.

Changed my blade using this video as a guide. My Toros handle bars do not turn into a stand but I flipped it up on its side. Cleaned my filter and topped off the oil while at it. This is in spring after 2 cuts, and the tip is spot on. I keep the deck on the penultimate peg for a tall grass and with the mulching over and over the years, my yard is happy and healthy.

Oh man! I am a 77-year-old female with severe arthritis and very bad eyesight up close and I had to change the blade and replace the self propelled belt on my Toro 22 inch recycler lawnmower. The belt was caught behind the adapter! i had to remove blade! I went through at least 15 videos of people changing the blade, but not a single one of them showed me the orientation of the blades to put it back on and the holder. I got caught in a bad rainstorm and I had to snatch everything up and put it in the house because I just don't like my stuff getting wet. If course, i picked up the old blade, belt, etc and covers on the pulley, etc not remembering i had them lined up and orientated in the way they went back on! Two days later, I finished putting the belt on. But for the life of me, I could not remember the orientation of the blade and the brackets etc. you were the only one who showed the blade(which i could not see because of reflection. BUT YOU told about the blade teeth tilting toward the underside of the mower! I had not tried to start the lawnmower up yet; so I go back out and sure enough I had the blade on backwards! In my defense though it did fit and screwed back on very well even though it was backwards! 😬😬I basically have to feel things with my finger tips to get them right. The blade was a challenge! it fit both ways! I just wanted to say thank you! took me two days to change a blade on the lawnmower because no one really gave the explicit placing in DETAIL!
THANK you so very much from a grateful old lady!

Same here!!! My husband has dementia. Our lawn looks like Augusta National Golf Course. He has an AG degree and expert in lawn care. Now, he is unable to keep our lawn in PGA golf course beauty and I am trying to do it to keep him happy. He ran the mower over the curb last summer and damaged the blade support plate. He also stripped the bolt that hold the support plate in place. I am a Southern Belle who shops for lipstick, perfume, nail polish, shoes and purses NOT LAWN EQUIPMENT. This video is the best!!!!

I hadn’t changed mine in 4 years and had to put a socket wrench on there and beat it loose with a mallet. Guess I better change it every year from now on. Had no idea it was this easy.

This is a very good video for a first-time blade changer or a refresher for someone that hasn't changed a blade in a long time. I was just curios and asked at an Ace Hardware the cost to have this done this and it is $75.00.

I haven't changed my blade in years.. lol I cut the median strip on my street. When the grass grows over the curb, I hang the left wheel off the curb and drag it backwards on the curb, removing the grass and sharpening the blade at the same time.. 👊😠 I beat the shit out of my Toro. I leave it out in the rain & snow every year. Never change the oil. Replace the air & plug once, only because it didn't start on the first pull one year. Spark plug cable BARELY touched the plug. She's bulletproof. 🤣🤣 been trying to beat her up to get a new one. Doubt I ever will.. Best 100 Craigslist find.. EVER 🤘😎
