In this video, I said the midboss minions have 152 or 153 speed. I actually was listed my monster speed, not the combat speed **OOPS**!! Also a couple of commenters confirmed that their COMBAT speed is 169, which means 153 (with max speed tower) is the slowest for Talia.
For everyone who has more mid-game runes I suggest Fran, Loren, Raoq, Sabrina, Shaina. Consistently 1:30 with F3 arena runes. The twins still seem super good in necro. Not so much in giants or dragons at least with my mediocre runes.
This is such great content man! I was doing this exact team myself yesterday but found myself failing due to low HP on Raoq and Shaina which died because Talia killed them on the boss stage. This actually led me to a safe b12 team, thank you xennial 👊
Definitely agree, I know you need damage on boss but you can replace kro with collean, it will buff your atk power too and very good against necro for sure
You know, it's really funny you mention that first tip. It's a good tip. I also unruned one of my raoqs (i use fran 3 raoqs and loren atm) and was wondering why my team was failing/taking way too long. WOOPS. Now he is a back to being a very enraged flaming doggo.
hahahaha yeah there's so much we're all doing atm, it's easy to make those mistakes. My team failed 3 more times this morning I was like "wtf" and realized I had the wrong Raoq (unskilled, lower CR) in. Switched Raoqs and it went back to solid. I think I overestimated - it seems to fail about once in 30 or so runs atm, but I think some tweaks to runes + artifacts will get it to nearly 100%.
The Max speed and ATB boost block only apply to the actual boss round. I've been noticing it SEEMS like the boss has some hidden vio resistance or something. Going in with 4 VIO twins+Ahman, and I was consistently going 2-3 rounds at a time between single vio procs.
Quick question, I have both dark and water pumpkins, which one should I build for punisher? The rest of the team is probably gonna be fran, verde, pumpkin, kro, raoq
Thanks asd! :) Assuming you have at least one twin so you're making a pair, I'd prioritize as Shaina -> Sabrina -> Talia. I'm honestly not sure there'll be a place for Lushen in the core dungeons anymore. He's so RNG/Derp-happy, and these dungeons will wreck you if you don't clear the waves. I'm sure some people will still use him, but (at least with my **FIRST THOUGHTS** and this could change) I feel like his derpy-ness will make the team unstable and not particuarly faster.
I'm doing shaina fran raoq sabrina talia slower yeah but very safe with lower rune requirements that's an option for people who can't run the above teams
The good thing is that rune quality is going to skyrocket for everyone very quickly with the 100% 6* drop rates, and artifacts will boost damage too. I'd expect that anyone able to run the team you just mentioned will be able to run this team inside a month (they may need to mix in a little r5) :)

Hey, one question here. I have to multiply my base speed with the tower and then add the Speed from runes ? When i‘ll do that my Talia has 168,45 Speed, is this round up and I would go before the Minions ?
@@pikko9495 Yeah as far as I know, the game rounds up from the decimal, and "equal speeds" will go to the first pick (rta) or to you in all other cases. So 168.45 = 169, and since it's tied, you go first :)

No one has yet to post mid game db12 that doesn’t involve elsharion. Mine never gets immunity and then I get team wipe. I have 85 accuracy all units +90 speed except verd. Games kinda making me want to quit tbh :/
so far, i need to run with 100 acc to strip the immune. Well, dragon is the hardest between giant and necro. I got 3 min safe run in db12 while giant and necro is around 1:40' - 2'. oh im using bella and loren for strip
I'll be working on midgame teams hopefully next week Billy. I know most creators are working on those first, so I thought it made sense for me to work out speed teams first. (Plus I have absolutely no mana and I needed a way to farm haha)
I **think** Talia is necessary because of her damage boost when the enemy is below 50%. I'm not sure if you'd consistently clear the midboss with Deva. If you can though, that team might actually be even faster. I'd probably speed tune it as shaina -> deva -> shaina -> raoq -> sabrina to start. That way if the first Shaina doesn't derp, your clear the wave super quickly (setting up a nice "best time"). Also, with the 2nd shaina going 3rd, your defense break on the final boss will be very consistent.
Did you tried replacing every single twin with a Raoq ? Maybe just bring something for the leader but that's why i feel twins are less and less useful, Raoq is busted
Ace has a video on a Shamann team that is stable. High rune quality required with a 1-shot Lushen tho - otherwise, Kro works better as Shamann AI is a bit unreliable, and his skills are 1-hit (the Kro teamup generates multi hits)
Thing is, Shaina's AOE defense break is what sets up the Raoq. Deva wouldn't replace that. In theory you could maybe try Abigail, though there'd be a lot more RNG, or just add some more Raoqs, but you might have fails that way :/
I posted an updated video for this team last night :) The key was actually a second Shaina. My runes for the team are very strong, but I do believe that it can be run with weaker runes (some commenters have said as much). I've run the new team for probably 1000 runs, and it's 0 fails, and 53sec average.
Fran, Shaina, Sabrina, Raoq, Shamann would probably work. If Shamann doesn't work, then any other big nuker in that spot (his AI is kind of mediocre). Kro might work even tho there aren't a lot of debuffs. Or a 2nd Raoq, etc. Just be sure everyone has 85k e.hp+

Yeah I had the same issue, and it resulted in some slower runs. The problem is that it needed Sabrina to land the def break too often if Shaina just hit the boss's shield, and Sabrina isn't 100% activation. I've posted an updated video now. The new team is currently in really strong runes, but commenters have said they rune a similar team in weaker runes and it works for them. I'd still call it a late-mid-game team probably. But it's 53sec average, and in 1000+ runs I've had 0 fails and only one run that went over 1m 13s.
Bro what the hell do they mean twins are no more? I use martina deva for speed steel 10 auto and they never ever die when they drain boss shield and def buff lol.

Yesterday I accidentally fed a rainbowmon that was still holding 6 runes from FRR when I ran out of space DOH! :( (I got really really lucky, it was the rainbowmon holding the least useful of all the runes, 6x tolerance and 5 of them were not particuarly good, so really only lost 1 good rune)

@@u-law8149 I don't have Julien built, I did test Jean in SF, he wasn't consistent enough though. Everything there when you go to pure damage relies on landing the beneficial block. That's why Tatu appeals to me. I'm working on her 2A now :)
The trick for that then is to add in shield sets to reduce the reflect damage :) However, I do have a better version of this team out and updated now also, the video was posted last night - if you have the rune quality to make it, it's 53sec super stable.
Think he means if I had damage boosting artifacts :) I'm a hair low on damage right now actually, because of all the speed I have on those units. The team actually should speed up noticeably once I have a few crit dmg+ artifacts on the Raoqs and Talia.

Hey im running fran sabrina shaina deva and roaq and i get mostly consistent runs but fail 10-15% idk what i can do to improve the success rate (btw idont have talia it why i use deva)
Hmm you might try changing Raoq with Kro or Shamann (acting last). That will slow the runs down a lot more, but give you more damage on the bosses. Another option would be to change Deva with Abigail (Abigail acting 2nd behind Fran). You should also watch the fail runs and try to ask yourself where the fails are happening. Are you losing a monster before the boss? If so, that can often be corrected with shield sets. Are you losing on the boss? Then that's usually an issue of needing more damage or more shield breaks. Also, Colleen is generally better than Fran for Necro. Fran heals more often, but Colleen AOE heals more often. Colleen also puts up attack buff more often, AND multi-hits more often. So her overall kit fits better. You can also go farm for some artifacts. Farming B7s/B8s is fine if you cannot farm B10s. Just find some basic artifacts, they don't have to be good, but ones that have +atk and a couple of even decent subs. Roll them to +6 or +9 as you can afford, and youir monsters get instantly stronger :) Artifacts don't have to be premium to help. Last thing to consider - if your monsters are getting "1 shot" anywhere, then you may boost their hp or (especially, because a lot of people ignore this) defense. That will likely come at the expense of losing attack so the runs may be slower, but if they're more stable it's worth it. Hope this helps, and good luck building a stable team! :)
Xennial Gaming hey thanks for the reply I put in Colleen instead and it a bit better but not 100%, my turn order is Colleen, roaq, shaina, Sabrina, and deva. In my failed runs I’ve noticed that sometimes we missed some de buffs and then everyone on the team gets to a low hp and the hostage ends up killing a mon on my team and it goes downhill.
@@richardchen3647 Ohhh I should have asked about turn order. Shaina needs to go before Raoq. For that team, I would run it as colleen, deva, shaina, Sabrina, and Raoq. The reason shaina goes first is the AOE defense break, that allows Raoq to keep taking turns as he kills the monsters. Having Deva go second will speed up the waves. The team will go even faster through the waves if Raoq acts fourth - but you might have trouble on the boss, because he's your biggest damage dealer, and when Colleen buffs there will have only been 6 hits on the boss, meaning the shield isn't broken and you lose Raoq's damage. So in your case I'd take the consistency of Raoq acting last over the "record time" potential of Raoq acting fourth.
Got it i dont have issues in trash wave only the main boss becaise i ran roaq 2nd to last and he gets taken hostage sometimes and it kills the team. If possible could i send u a recording of a failed run?
I actually posted an updated version of this. Relatively high rune requirements. but 53sec super consistent and it hasn't failed yet in prob 1000+ runs.
I plan to test him, abigail, and shihwa if I have enough time before FRR ends. Sadly 4 days of FRR was nowhere near enough :/ So I'm having to prioritize. But I do think he's viable, and have an idea for him I want to test!

Yeah this one definitely has a higher rune requirement. I'll be working on guides for easier dungeons over the next cpl of weeks. For now, Colleen works great in place of Raoq :)
I did say at the start that this was just a team to get people going. I'll continue to work on finding teams that work on lower rune quality, the update had only been out for 24 hours :p But also if you drop all the unnecessary speed and CR from those sets (with Talia lead), the rune quality isn't really that high. Definitely later mid-game, but not insane
Hmm that might have been a lower damage issue then, triggering a captured soul :( However, I came up with a much better team today. The rune requirement is pretty high I'll be honest, but it's 100% stable and averages about 53sec. Almost never goes over 1 minute. The video will be posted in an hour or so (and then I'm done with Necro and moving on to the next one hehe).
i mean i appriciate the effort, but let's face it. these tutorials mean nothing. i mean cm on, that rune quality is top 5% players only. i mean loot at that shaina. +123 spd, 100% rate 196% dmg? i get that's the "concept" you should aim for, but really this is flexing, you could put pretty much every multihitter with those runes and the run would work
Heya Dani, I appreciate the feedback :) As I tried to stress in the video, that level of speed is not only unnecessary, it's actually ignored by the Necro B12 boss. This video was released in the first day after the update, when I was still testing various dungeons, so these monsters were on higher quality runes for other areas of testing. The Necro boss hard caps speed, and you only need 151 combat speed (with max tower on units at 101+ base speed) to outspeed the midboss's minions. Please also bear in mind that as a creator, I can only use the runes I have, and I'm just as limited on resources (i.e. mana) as anyone else. I have to display the monsters with the runes I'm using, but that doesn't mean those runes have to be matched exactly, and I do my best to both discuss and put graphics on screen explaining where the rune quality can be reduced to become more accessible for mid-game or late-midgame players :)

I'd recommand Chilling (water). Because stripping the speed buff from the boss seems really important
I don't have Dusky so hard for me to say. But Chilling is working for me atm :)

I've only done 5 runs so far (been farming AF's), my team is Shaina, Sabrina, Talia, Deva, Raoq.

I swapped kro with colleen since my rune quality and skill ups aren't there yet. A little slower but haven't wiped yet.

Min Speed is 169 or 170 if Zero speed towers. I use this same team but with fran instead of kro. I get 1:40ish Thanks to violent and fran S1 multi hit

I don't think so, Talia's damage scaling on the enemy's hp status is huge. But the best way to be sure is to test :)

@@u-law8149 I don't have Julien built, I did test Jean in SF, he wasn't consistent enough though. Everything there when you go to pure damage relies on landing the beneficial block. That's why Tatu appeals to me. I'm working on her 2A now :)

I've tried this team but I'm failing every time because my Talia is doin way to much dmg on the golems 😭
The trick for that then is to add in shield sets to reduce the reflect damage :) However, I do have a better version of this team out and updated now also, the video was posted last night - if you have the rune quality to make it, it's 53sec super stable.

Think he means if I had damage boosting artifacts :) I'm a hair low on damage right now actually, because of all the speed I have on those units. The team actually should speed up noticeably once I have a few crit dmg+ artifacts on the Raoqs and Talia.

Yeah - it's 169 combat speed for the minions actually, so 153 for Talia on max speed tower. I could've explaiend that way better in the video!

Hey im running fran sabrina shaina deva and roaq and i get mostly consistent runs but fail 10-15% idk what i can do to improve the success rate (btw idont have talia it why i use deva)
Hmm you might try changing Raoq with Kro or Shamann (acting last). That will slow the runs down a lot more, but give you more damage on the bosses. Another option would be to change Deva with Abigail (Abigail acting 2nd behind Fran). You should also watch the fail runs and try to ask yourself where the fails are happening. Are you losing a monster before the boss? If so, that can often be corrected with shield sets. Are you losing on the boss? Then that's usually an issue of needing more damage or more shield breaks.
Also, Colleen is generally better than Fran for Necro. Fran heals more often, but Colleen AOE heals more often. Colleen also puts up attack buff more often, AND multi-hits more often. So her overall kit fits better.
You can also go farm for some artifacts. Farming B7s/B8s is fine if you cannot farm B10s. Just find some basic artifacts, they don't have to be good, but ones that have +atk and a couple of even decent subs. Roll them to +6 or +9 as you can afford, and youir monsters get instantly stronger :) Artifacts don't have to be premium to help.
Last thing to consider - if your monsters are getting "1 shot" anywhere, then you may boost their hp or (especially, because a lot of people ignore this) defense. That will likely come at the expense of losing attack so the runs may be slower, but if they're more stable it's worth it.

Xennial Gaming hey thanks for the reply I put in Colleen instead and it a bit better but not 100%, my turn order is Colleen, roaq, shaina, Sabrina, and deva. In my failed runs I’ve noticed that sometimes we missed some de buffs and then everyone on the team gets to a low hp and the hostage ends up killing a mon on my team and it goes downhill.
@@richardchen3647 Ohhh I should have asked about turn order. Shaina needs to go before Raoq. For that team, I would run it as colleen, deva, shaina, Sabrina, and Raoq. The reason shaina goes first is the AOE defense break, that allows Raoq to keep taking turns as he kills the monsters. Having Deva go second will speed up the waves. The team will go even faster through the waves if Raoq acts fourth - but you might have trouble on the boss, because he's your biggest damage dealer, and when Colleen buffs there will have only been 6 hits on the boss, meaning the shield isn't broken and you lose Raoq's damage. So in your case I'd take the consistency of Raoq acting last over the "record time" potential of Raoq acting fourth.
Got it i dont have issues in trash wave only the main boss becaise i ran roaq 2nd to last and he gets taken hostage sometimes and it kills the team. If possible could i send u a recording of a failed run?

I plan to test him, abigail, and shihwa if I have enough time before FRR ends. Sadly 4 days of FRR was nowhere near enough :/ So I'm having to prioritize. But I do think he's viable, and have an idea for him I want to test!

Yeah this one definitely has a higher rune requirement. I'll be working on guides for easier dungeons over the next cpl of weeks. For now, Colleen works great in place of Raoq :)

Your rune is really high. No need to give advice if you have that kind of runes. Of course twins are good with good quality runes.
I did say at the start that this was just a team to get people going. I'll continue to work on finding teams that work on lower rune quality, the update had only been out for 24 hours :p But also if you drop all the unnecessary speed and CR from those sets (with Talia lead), the rune quality isn't really that high. Definitely later mid-game, but not insane

Hmm that might have been a lower damage issue then, triggering a captured soul :( However, I came up with a much better team today. The rune requirement is pretty high I'll be honest, but it's 100% stable and averages about 53sec. Almost never goes over 1 minute.
The video will be posted in an hour or so (and then I'm done with Necro and moving on to the next one hehe).
Do I want to aim for 54% acc for Raoq and Kro?
For Kro, for NB12, it's not really important. For Raoq for NB12 it's helpful, but don't sacrifice too many other stats to try to get there :)

i mean i appriciate the effort, but let's face it. these tutorials mean nothing. i mean cm on, that rune quality is top 5% players only. i mean loot at that shaina. +123 spd, 100% rate 196% dmg? i get that's the "concept" you should aim for, but really this is flexing, you could put pretty much every multihitter with those runes and the run would work
Heya Dani, I appreciate the feedback :) As I tried to stress in the video, that level of speed is not only unnecessary, it's actually ignored by the Necro B12 boss. This video was released in the first day after the update, when I was still testing various dungeons, so these monsters were on higher quality runes for other areas of testing.
The Necro boss hard caps speed, and you only need 151 combat speed (with max tower on units at 101+ base speed) to outspeed the midboss's minions.
Please also bear in mind that as a creator, I can only use the runes I have, and I'm just as limited on resources (i.e. mana) as anyone else. I have to display the monsters with the runes I'm using, but that doesn't mean those runes have to be matched exactly, and I do my best to both discuss and put graphics on screen explaining where the rune quality can be reduced to become more accessible for mid-game or late-midgame players :)
