    Of course, India is imperfect.
India has hosted many corrupt governments, hate-mongering politicians, spineless civil servants. But India also has glorious minds like you, and a million others who keep these public servants accountable.
As long as India has free, independent, & critical thinking individuals - India will rise.
There are many amongst us who have left hefty ‘packages’ to serve our republic at the borders, at hospitals, at boardrooms, at universities. And there are many amongst us who are serving India with utmost honesty and sincerity in whatever we are doing in our lives.
As long as we do not divide ourselves, or let others divide us basis our religions, caste, language, how we look, or what we eat - we become the true spokesperson of this beautiful country.
There's a high likelihood - whenever you stand for politics of development, and rationality - you will be abused by the minions of useless political parties.
But no matter what - never support the politics of hate, and always raise your voice for what is right, what is wrong, and resist the urge to get into what-aboutism.
I’m sure in time to come, each of us will leave no stone unturned in making our beautiful country “an India of our dreams”.
We may never reach that end - and that is absolutely fine as long as we are closing towards that end.

When Plutocracy is driven through sectarianism, further leading into communalism, India as a country where we have severe diversity in every aspect of life(religion, class, caste), it's too impractical for people to react to it due to historic inequalities which they had learnt as their grassroots, they don't want to indulge into philosophy, psychology or sociology maybe even anthropology.
      1. So there's an urgency to introduce such courses into our curriculum
      2. Technological fundamentals basics to everyone.
      3. Making everyone learn about inter dependence rather than using gender equality, inclusivity,we have to use them as individuals and make them learn about the socio-political economic aspect of human life.
      Thank you.🙏🏼

In India, the pervasive issues of societal decay can be traced to a fundamental lack of education, not just in terms of academic knowledge but in the cultivation of moral and ethical values. A failure to teach individuals the importance of seeing all humans as part of a shared family erodes empathy and fuels division. This absence of humanity is compounded by a lack of courage to speak out against wrongdoing. Instead, many silently tolerate or even accept the wrongs around them, allowing corrupt ideologies to flourish unchecked. Society’s inherited "banality of evil," where people become complicit in or indifferent to injustice, reinforces a thoughtlessness that prevents collective resistance to moral decay. The unwillingness to react to these pervasive wrongs not only undermines the social fabric but also perpetuates cycles of exploitation and cruelty. Without challenging these inherited attitudes, societies risk becoming breeding grounds for further apathy and systemic failure.

Sir , I need to tell you about an incident happened to me 7 years ago. Ryt now I am 33. While I was travelling in a train from Trivandrum , I saw a man disturbing two girls , both were plus two students . I enquired about it and I reported this issue to RPF. when RPF arrived , the girls said there was nothing such thing happened! I was shocked! But the officer understood that I was genuine and said this attitude is common among victims. But that doesn’t mean I would never react to a situation that’s unethical happening in my sight. But this is a problem in our society. The victims are not coming forward. So the people around would have a reluctancy to involve /question / report the situation.

The issues of moral decay and societal breakdown in India can be traced to a deeper failure, starting with the lack of true education. This is not just about academic learning but the absence of teaching values like empathy, critical thinking, and the ability to recognize right from wrong. When education becomes mechanical and self-centered, it fails to cultivate a sense of responsibility toward others or the society we live in. It becomes a breeding ground for indifference and selfishness. This lack of moral values erodes the very fabric of human connection. People stop seeing each other as part of a collective human family. Instead, they focus on personal gain, viewing others as mere means to an end. Without empathy or a sense of shared humanity, people become disconnected, indifferent, and sometimes cruel. When societies don't nurture these values, it creates fertile ground for greed, exploitation, and apathy. The result is a lack of humanity where compassion and kindness are overshadowed by self-interest. People prioritize their own needs, often ignoring or stepping on others. Acts of integrity, fairness, and standing up for what's right become rare. This leads to a lack of courage to challenge the wrongs we see around us. Many people recognize these injustices, but fear, apathy, or hopelessness keeps them silent. This silence allows corruption and oppression to thrive. When we fail to stand against these forces, they grow stronger and more ingrained in society. Over time, society adopts corrupt ideologies-beliefs and practices that go unquestioned because they benefit a few at the expense of many. The longer these corrupt systems are left unchecked, the harder they become to dismantle. People inherit what philosopher Hannah Arendt called the "banality of evil." This is when evil becomes ordinary, routine, and unremarkable because it's deeply embedded in everyday life. People commit acts of harm or injustice not out of malice but simply because they no longer think about the consequences. Thoughtlessness takes over, and people just follow along with what's easiest, without questioning the harm they're enabling. This thoughtlessness leads to a lack of reaction to wrongdoings. People see injustices-whether it's corruption, violence, or discrimination-but do nothing. They’ve grown numb, either because they feel powerless to change it or because they think it's someone else’s problem. This collective apathy allows these wrongs to continue and worsen. When people stop caring or speaking out, they become complicit in the harm being done. Ultimately, this results in the erosion of our shared humanity. When we stop viewing others as part of a global family, we lose the sense of responsibility we owe each other. Society fragments along lines of wealth, class, religion, and ideology. People retreat into their own bubbles, focusing only on their own survival or success, ignoring the suffering or injustice that doesn’t affect them directly. The longer this goes on, the more it feeds itself. Corruption, cruelty, and exploitation become normalized, while acts of courage and compassion become rare. Breaking this cycle requires a radical change in how we think and act. We need to rebuild a sense of shared responsibility, one that values human dignity and empathy. Only then can we begin to confront the deep-rooted injustices that continue to erode our society.

I could only think of a typical Indian social setting while reading your comment. Extremely Sad but true. In order to become a developed nation, the people need to be developed(in terms of morality, civic sense, mindfulness-basically humanity). And it seems like it would take quite a long time like a century or so I guess for India to transform on humanitarian, educational and religious grounds.

    A very good discussion NAMAN!
However, I wanted to point out the one more reason of such incidents which will keep happening until Police do their real job i.e work for the citizen, protect them. Once the police gain the respect and trust from the citizen then these things will rarely happen in the society. The slacker behaviour of these gives the rise of such fringe people.
for eg. In UAE, these things rarely happen because people have trust in police and they work honestly for the people there.

A very thought provoking video. Still, we can find the other side of the issue as well.
    1) In the first video, the act was, no doubt, a cruel one & surely should be punishable. The youth should have asked the police, if they were doubtful that the man was carrying Cow's meat. But what to expect from some young, self-proclaimed macho males, whether they have studied the fundamentals of our nations because if they had, they would have known that beef trafficking is banned in our nation and strict actions are taken against the violators. So definitely, it was a heinous act!
    2) Second case is the worst of all, this shows the present condition of our society - it is doomed!
    3) The Cameraman case was surely tragic. I don't know how but people nowadays have been inspired from the stories and instances of exploiting others when they are incapable. Such a shame! But there can be two sides for why trespassers might not have helped the now deceased person. First, one is already told in the video, but there can the other side as well. There are various instances that I have heard and witnessed as well, where some people trick others by showcasing in a situation of need but use that situation to loot or harass or harm the person providing help. I even myself faced similar scenario last year. Adding to that, what others did by stealing the equipment and other accessories is simply shameful.
No justification for the perpetrators and I strongly appeal that strong actions shall be taken against them. But is it that much simple to get justice when there are millions of cases still pending in the Indian judicial system? When a person has to lose everything to fight for justice and at the end what does he/she gets, just disappointment! Yes there are problems in our nation and the people of it and we should accept that, but just talking about that or accepting the fact won't bring a change. There shall be demand for stricter and judicious laws.

Totally agree...He is always biased ..never talk about agencies ,people who are bullish and positive about India.Being an entrepreneur, I can definitely say that things have improved and eased out for business .Definitely there are challenges but we are gradually moving in the right direction. Speed might be slow due to unlimited variables in India unlike other countries and we were in deep hole but we are going good now.

Bruh most of the people engaged in terrorist activities religiously avoid alcohol. That did not stop ISIS or al qaeda from committing inhumane crimes. Alcohol is just an easy excuse people use to shift the blame on.

@@proudkaafir5126Brother tell me why does ISIS not help the people of Palestine? Why don't they help the people of South Sudan? What about Yemen? Why did they attack Moscow amidst the Russia-Ukraine war instead of attacking Israel and helping the Palestinians? Things are not the way they seem. You have done a good job looking at these terrorist groups in an introductory manner but incomplete knowledge of something is much more dangerous than having no knowledge at all. Do me a favour brother. Look into this more deeply if you get the time. On a side note(I am not saying this to blame you or any group) there have been a lot of mob lynchings of Muslims in the past few years including the recent train incident that happened. Now are those people good Hindus or they manipulate the scripture for their own benefit? Again, things are not always the way they seem. It is our responsibility to pursue truth instead of insensibly blaming someone's religion. Peace and good evening to you.
