When a religiously persecuted Hindu flees Pakistan to seek shelter in India, after being forced to relinquish his home and property there, asking him to bring full documents and papers to seek citizenship is like rubbing salt on his wounds. It makes him vulnerable to face corruption and further exploitation at the hands of lower level clerks and officials in both countries.

You see, the naturalisation process is always there, but when these EXISTING BANGLADESHIS or these religious Minorities, will get the voting right, will also compete for job etc, what will happen to a state like Assam which is burdened with influx since ages. Don't know about rest of the country, but in Assam we want the safeguard of the Clause 6 of historic ASSAM ACCORD, that's it, that's what we want. The Northeastern states except Assam has ILP system, why not in Assam ? Why these legislatures shows reluctancy in implementing such provisions ? The problem with this CJI’s son’s argument is that he has no clue what this laws root cause was… he is ill informed. Congress under Nehru / Gandhi did not wanted India to split into multiple countries of afghan Pakistan or Bangladesh till the day of partition.. simply because Gandhi was a eccentric man who had more power to decide on what’s good for Pakistanis of partition time because of Congress treating him like god. If Gandhi was ready to work with British around 1943 before end of world war 2, British wanted to work with Nehru and Jinnah to plan, border decisions , knowledge transfer and training of Indian and Pakistan bureaucrats before partition was announced so that the transition will be smooth… since Gandhi s adamant nature did not allow British to plan the drawing of borders as well as training of Indians / Pakistanis over the course of 1943 to 1947, British had to forcefully send Mountbatten to decide border and hastily announce independence which lead to blood bath. Gandhi unknowingly was reason for millions of Hindus Muslims Sikhs being massacred… since in this hasty sudden migration, many( Hindus Christian’s Sikhs jains) in villages and remote places who were unaware of how evil a Muslim majority country will become and stayed back. Today their population is almost wiped out and they have come to India and been living as undocumented for decades in India because India does not give them citizenship…
In Pakistan once cannot declare themselves as atheist after being a Muslim. If India gives citizenship to atheists in Pakistan , ISI can send spies in the name of atheists.. also the moment these people announce they are atheist in Pakistan, they will be either 40% lynched by fellow citizens or jailed by Pakistan law. Forget about they getting a chance to come to India… this is a stupid argument from a kid who has lot to learn about India history..: Plus why not Jews and others ? These people never were having any rivalry during partition and were also free to move where they wanted… most likely there will be 6 to 8 Jews who has zero cognitive skills comparable to yours who think they will be able to live in Pakistan where Islamists are waiting ti slay them because of hate that comes from times of 6 th century of Islamic rise.

That can be done under Part-2 of the constitution and under Citizenship Act. The present discourse on CAA is about restituting the ill effects on those who were not the cause of the Partition in which Ahmadias do not come in. It's civilizational duty too to correct the mistakes for those to fought for their beliefs system against Islamic Fundamentalism which took 2 pieces of the land.

Also if they mention about religious prosecution proving the fact that they are doing religious prosecution is close to impossible. India will not even think of losing its only friendly neighbor Bangladesh by dragging them and accusing them of religious prosecution.
Also your reasoning that Ahmadiyya betrayed us in the past and called for division is a vague one. It is right for gaining popular support but not valid in the court of law.

Actually, why do we need CAA?? It only means letting in more people and anyways we are already a very densely populated country. Not to mention the strain kn resources with so much poverty still not maneged.
Both the leading parties have only been interested in votebanks, not in trying to solve the issues already at hand and create division in ppl community whether by action or reaction. Really sad to see how bad politicians can ruin a great country

But still you are not able to make a point that it is constitutional or even that this Act is an exception and why not persecuted hindus from any other nations for eg - Sri Lanka which is our neighbouring country, there also hindus are persecuted based on religion. And the answer to your point that it is not anti muslim is - I agree it is not anti Muslim but when you'll relate this with NRC and NPR it becomes anti muslim and our home minister had only said - Aap chronology smjhiye, I think aap chronology nhi smjh rhe h.
And how the government will provide employment to them when they are not able to provide us and where they will live and all these costs will be covered from increasing the taxes and we will suffer (Dushro ki sahayta krne se phle khd Oxygen mask lgaye)... and if a muslim person can be an agent why not a person of other religion whom nobody will doubt?

Okay, but don't make assumptions that just because someone's father and grandfather is/was CJI, so he will be CJI for sure. Abhinav has just put forth his arguments and you've all the right to go against his arguments. But, no need to target him or his family personally. And, even if he becomes CJI someday, it doesn't mean that he's incapable or untalented to hold that position.

@PMcse Yes, I thik that he exemplifies the singular capability of ascending to the position of CJI, much akin to how Mr. Jay embodies unparalleled proficiency in leading BCCI, Mr. Akhilesh demonstrates exceptional competence in steering SP, and Mr. Rahul symbolizes the epitome of potential in assuming the role of PM. What an incredulous assertion, my friend. Take heed of Sir's words attentively and then reevaluate your own comment. Whether you acknowledge it or not, it's an undeniable reality that a dynastic propensity pervades every sphere.Sir is neither endorsing nor condemning it; he is merely articulating it as a verifiable truth. Moreover, if we were in their shoes, the likelihood is high that the same trajectory would ensue for us as well. In essence, if we were to occupy positions such as CJI or ministers, the hereditary continuum would likely extend to our progeny.

And these all issues are of most of the people of india I think of around 70% people of india. And these are all the main issue regarding common peoples life of this country. And still if they not credible compare to this lying b.j.p government. Who is just deceived the country with their fake promises on job to youth , inflation , doubled up the income of farmers and m.s.p . And with that insulting the constitution and democracy by controlling all the government institutions unethical way to win the election like Chandigarh election , by using e.d , c.b.i for suppressed the voices who against their policies. They are destroying main principals of constitution like ethics and morals . I think as a common people as for the countrys most people's perspectives opposition is raising right issue of this country . And for me my country is each and every individual of this country

I agree with most of what you said and looking at CAA by itself as a stand-alone bill, I don't see much problem with it. However, I think the huge outcry and protests against it come from the fact that CAA was introduced around the same time as NRC. Together, working in tandem, I think CAA and NRC can have huge consequences. I would love to hear your thoughts about this.
