This is the 1st multi tool with exchangeable knives, as far as 1 notice. With bonus spare wire cutter as well. Thats so amazing, bro! Cant hardly wait mine coming. Really reliable tool at reasonable price though :D
Great efforts, impressive tools. Indexable (exchangeable) tools/implements is an excellent concept. I would like to add that providing indexable/exchangeable files and saws (not only/just knife blades) would be excellent. People could then make temporary knifeless/bladeless variants when needed (for example, go to some places/sites with no weapon-leaning tools, no knives), and those assemblies could have fewer knives but more/multiple files (coarse, fine, diamond) and more/multiple saws (wood, metal/hacksaw, combination wood/metal). Then switch right back to knife configurations when ready/needed. One last thought: It is a powerful opportunity if one is willing to make and carry multitools that are 25 mm thick instead of only 14 or 16 mm thick. The extra thickness allows several more tools stations to exist. Thus no more tradeoffs like "you can have a file or an awl but not both" or "you can have scissors or a serrated blade but not both." F* it, for those who want it all at once, they can have it all at once; some of us will not care if the thickness is 25 mm instead of 16 mm, and those who do care can continue using slimmer tools with higher tradeoffs, that's totally fine, each has his own needs and preferences, but it should not be the only option, the only game in town. Anyway, thanks for listening and best of luck. Subscribed.
I wish they keep the system for newer multitools, making this a very nice complement and a feature towards some roxon tools. Because leatherman do have a blade exchange feature for hacksaw blades for the most part. However I would like also more exotic options for large folding tools but yeah saws and files are a whole lot needed. I would like a multiwrench option.
Thanks for the video I like mine works great Got all the blades very sharp Only used leathermans for years . But like the innovation of the rox I put I side clip on mine It’s a little bulky but very cool tool 👍

Consigliato .
I love the concept of this tool however I would love to see something using the same interchangeable knife system. but with 4 tools, a bit driver, similar big cissors And as far as mini tools go I will go with a combo deburrer chisel wire stripper, A pry bar, a precision micro bit holder and some random others...
Innovative way of taking out the tools, and serves as a lock too. Slim down the tool some more (and improve QC) and this will be an extremely good option.
Just got mine this afternoon ......its awesome...heavier than expected but i like this...it feels really solid in the hand....cool getting the little star wrench too for tightening the nuts.....the pouch snap button is firm and good quality too....ive been playing with it for an hour or two ....just folding out the scissors....i love the little release button on the side of the tool ....the lock mechanisms....having owned Gerbers and Leathermans the size of the scizzors on here is awesome....so much bigger than multi tools ive owned in the past.....ive been unlocking the side panel and taking the main blade in and out....it works really well.....the springs feel really good in the pliers and scissors too and they are hidden....no one is paying me to say these things.....the lock on the side for all the small blades is cool too....push one way to push all the little blades/tools out and then lock one individually.....its a really clever invention this swappable multi tool....don't want to sound overly gushing yet...it really is practicle, effective and just cool!
Yes I agree with you I too have Leathermans and Gerbers and this Chinese owned, designed and made are a real gems. Same goes to my Bacho laplander saw, I replaced it with a Japanese made Silky saw, it is superb still standing after heavy use, sawing as new still.
Just bought this today, arrives tomorrow. Really looking forward to see how it handles. Normally i use Leatherman or Gerber, I really hope this can compete with them. I love the interchangeable blade option, let's just hope it works
Yes you will enjoy it. I have tested Roxon with two other Leathermans and Roxon outclassed them. I use the pointy nose pliers, wire cutters and occasionally scissors and Roxon is superb. I also used to join the Made in USA bandwagon but no more. I am sure Leatherman will copy interchangeable option from Roxon. My leaving the popular Made in USA bandwagon started when I wanted to buy Gerber Bear Grylls Ulti. pro knife while having KA BAR and ESEE knives both made in usa, my mates laughed at me as Bear Gryll was made in China with Chinese steel, but Bear is the most used and abused out door knife I still have without a hint of a damage to the blade for years. It is time to look for other excellent alternatives who provide excellent quality products. Remember there is NO ultimate or perfect steel in the world, but we were made to believe, every excellent steel has its own pros and cons and that is the truth.
@@freddykruger3320 well I've had it for 2 weeks now and it's great. The fact your stanning a multi tool brand should be cause for concern. File is the most frequency use tool.
