I wonder if covering the gap between the fan and the right radiator with tape would improve temps by forcing all the air to pass through the heatsink, like airflow shrouds in servers. Any thoughts?
Hello, I tried this method many years ago, my personal test results are almost no difference, I think it is more convenient and effective to use dual fans,Or add a fan at the top to blow air against the tower cooling,If your case can install a top fan, I recommend using the air intake method to install the top front, which will help obviously,I'm not a professional but hope my approach can help you
@@yikyik148 Thanks for the quick reply. I just thought it would be interesting to test (I don’t have this cooler). Still one of the best coolers that could fit a 4U chassis so I will probably get one to make my server quieter.
It can be installed, but it needs to be offset outward. Because this cooler is close to the CPU, the manufacturer has designed a special shape ,I think it is better to use the original fan as much as possible (A12x25r)
😊👍🙏Maybe you can tell me what method I need to test, I have compared similar data, because the test results according to my method are basically better than others

@@香噴噴-p6f This 12X25R cannot be installed on the CASE, the installation position is different, it can only be installed on the cooler

do the regular non-rounded fans fit on the cooler too?

Best is scythe fuma 2 for this statuation.
wew, it reaches 95c on a 11700? Either this cooler is not good at all or your case airflow is too limited.
You are right, I plan to retest for comparison,The average temperature of the game is 60°

Max 93°
(Maybe my test method is different from others HAHA)

Do you have front intake fans? Should be okay if you have some fresh air from outside
