Here we have an amazing piano for you, a Steinway Model K upright piano. Manufactured in 1911 and in a polished ebony cabinet (Steinway & Sons call it ebonised polish) this piano has stood the test of time. The cabinet shows some signs of wear & tear and is not immaculate, but I would say reasonable and looks ok for its age. Internally there are not issues. It has had some refurbishment work with new hammer heads damper heads, felts and leathers replaced. The tone of this instrument I can only describe as incredible, the depth in its tone supersedes many grand pianos much bigger! The key action has a nice little resistance to it allowing the player to access amazing tonal changes, harmonics and subtle differences from quiet sections to louder sections of music. Manufactured at the Steinway & Sons factory in Hamburg Germany using Steinway's unique parts and patents, this piano was built to last. It plays beautifully and I think this piano is a real bargain for someone!
