Friendliness means openness. And it certainly doesn’t mean making you feel bad about not wanting to partake in the “hospitality”.

Sorry the sitting down offer scared you but traditionally to show respect the Fijians show hospitality through a big bowl of grog sitting down in a circle around it...I guess he wanted to be in a long talk lol...people are shy to be on camera in Fiji but some really enjoy it...
Yeah it is western Viti Levu they always close early even before 2020 because bus services ends early which is the cheapest there. As for other passenger services like taxis minibuses and dinghy so expensive. They always say if you miss the last bus wili duru ni cina ivale hahahahahahaha meaning you walk home counting all the street lights.
