Been to Fiji twice and love it. Not enough of us Americans choose to visit (which is fine with me). Thanks for sharing your experiences. Glad you got a chance to get out to the remote islands. The experience is sooo much better away from Vitu Levu (main island)

This video was very educational. I'm a Methodist in Jamaica. I didn't know that history of Rev. Thomas Baker. Definitely went to do more reading. The hat making session reminded me of some of the local artisans in my hometown of Ocho Rios. 😊Your girls are learning so much about life with all these trips. I love that for them 😊

@ madamekadz , 20+ yrs back was when Rev Thomas Baker’s descendants came to Fiji,attending a cleansing ceremony from the descendants of the people of Nabutautau village where he was killed.
He wasnt killed because he touched the chief's head thats what they accused him of, but it was to do from where he was coming from the Bau chiefdom already Christian seen by others as a expansionist polity which it has done to its neighbors. He knew he was going on a suicide mission the moment he decided to go up inland, he wrote on his letters to the other missionaries. It's a long story, a complex one, as is always Fijian politics, ancient and modern, but the friendliest and happy people you can find anywhere.

I loved your video! We stayed at the same Intercontinental several years ago and loved our stay. Everyone at the hotel was amazing. Everywhere we went on the island was very welcoming. I am glad to see you guys had a wonderful time. We hope to go back some day.

There's a nice reef just Infront of the Intercontinental, and Savusavu being my hometown has waters protected by the chief of Savusavu around Cousteau Resort. You guys should have gone snorkeling, it's beautiful out there.

Your caption is misleading. There is way way much more to Viti then your video shows. You have but just scrated on the surface.
Very nice, but us, people who watch videos like this, are also and (primarily) interested in filming the commercial flights interiors. Without that, the video will get very low viewership or reviews, which means less revenue.......

People like me will, however, enjoy the video just getting to witness whatever they want to share from their experience. And it being a travel vlog, the flight details are a very small portion of the vacation experience. I hope you get to find all those commercial flight interior videos 🙏
