My mom always made deer meat vegetable soup using her own canned tomatoes from our garden. Delish with her homemade bread. Yum! I love vegetable soup! I could eat it every day! TFS how to use the canned beef! I priced at the store and it sells for $12-$14 a can! Do a happy dance when we get it from the food bank! Beef is so expensive!!
i have used that canned beef to make cottage pie, chill, copycat dintymore beef stew. beef fried rice and egg roll in a bowl. we like to brown it in a skillet first do that it seems to hold together like fresh cooked ground beef but it is not necessary it is just a texture preferance and it seems to make the difference in the meat still feeling like meat.
Awesome video. I’ve used the canned beef in chili and it was really good. I also have a good bit of the canned pork. We use it for pulled pork sandwiches and loaded bbq potatoes. How would you use it??
Generally speaking I think you can use it anywhere you would beef or chicken. I Don't cook with pork as my husband and my gma don't eat it....I love it though....especially BACON...LOL

The government canned me give this out and it's gross when you open the can you see all that fat then the meat has that pink slime mixed into it my dogs wont even eat it
OHHHH NOOOO! That sounds awful. Mine did have a layer of fat, but no pink slime. Had that been the case for me I would have passed on it as well. Thank you for sharing!

I use this all the time have been for over 20 yrs I make french dips with it and use it for beef stroganoff chili ect

I make something similar but I also add a can of corn drained and some diced potatoes. Really hearty meal.

Any canned beef or pork should work the same even canned chicken!
