As a former employee, it is very true that there's a lot of harassment, favoritism, racism, etc at Tesla, they really don't care if you got injured they want you to suck it up & keep working.

I work for an American based multinational company that is located in Canada. Racism is rampant here but corporation doesn’t want to deal with it. They run all these training programmes about racism but is more then willing to sweep it under the rug. Even the union doesn’t want to deal with it.

I worked at the Tesla Gigafactory & was called the N word & heard many distasteful comments about black people. When i brought it to Hr they incriminated me by any means & turned it on me, i was fired.

People get triggered by the word “racist” but we (black people) are not delusional. We don’t live our lives projecting imagined racism. People generally dismiss our experiences but luckily we understand each other. You might not care about racial slurs in the workplace but we do.

I was assaulted and battered by a coworker at Tesla. I looked him in the eye and told him to not touch me, and I said to another coworker that I would defend myself if the assailant (named Anthony Valor) came near me again. Security approached me first and escorted me from the building. I was fired for "inciting violence" after being attacked for saying I would defend myself. I had no recourse, and I am now struggling to find a job. I moved to Nevada to work at Tesla and I may be homeless if I do not find work very soon.

I've worked for tech companies and interacted with employees of several other ones in the Bay Area and I can confirm that they are extremely racists. But by no means is what they are describing in this video. It is typically towards immigrants, who are trafficked into the Bay Area under the promise of having a Green Card but they get cheated and exploited, forced to overwork unpaid extra hours and paid way less than average.

I greatly appreciate you standing up and voicing the disgusting social conditions from the most overvalued car company in history, you deserve better and so do all the current and previous Tesla employees. My sister boyfriend(who's a 6'5" black man) worked at the bay area Tesla factory for a few moths around 2017/18 and he said the pay was pretty amazing but it didn't make up for the horrible working conditions. I wish you the absolute best in all your endeavors!

I was a Tesla employee I saw racism and favoritism going on they got there crews likes and don’t likes specially on night shift Tesla is a complicated business as a disabled ex employee your ceo don’t care or HR either your really on your own there doesn’t matter if your on the job site or not your treated as you who you are and it’s sad
Being the only visible minority, it can feel like you're held to a higher standard and you are scrutinized more. Alot of it is so subtle too. For instance, any mistakes you make is seen as more "serious" and "magnified" with harsher punishments. Whereas, the white coworkers who make exact, same mistake are given a pass ("Oh, it's a learning curve.", "Oh, it's no big deal. Everybody makes mistakes. They're only human."). It's almost like you have to work 10x harder than white coworkers just to prove yourself.
You always use the visible minority argument. It has nothing to do with numbers, it has to do with hatred and bigotry and wanting to run someone out of existence. No bigotry is not normal or natural. You long for a homogeneous white homeland and think harassment is the way to achieve it.
