Hey don't group us all in one as a American I know the difference between entertainment and reality!!!
How to solve disinformation in politics in one easy step: Constitutional Amendment: "No donations of any kind, to any political campaign are allowed. ALL political campaigns will be publicly funded. EVERY political candidate gets the exact same amount of money to spend. Any candidate who violates this will be forever banned from running for public office."
What you said is absolutely the right way forward, but how do we solve all the other kinds of political misinformation? For instance, let's say Putin has an invested interest in Biden not getting reelected, he could easily buy a trillion dollars worth of political ads to run on all networks, and even though it's not technically tied to any political organisation, it serves the same purpose.
Most sensible progressive solution. Money erodes truth, justice and democracy.
YESSSSS RESTORE CAMPAIGN LIMIT FUNDS NATL SECURITY RESTORED
In my country, the money comes from membership fees.
Quite contrary to most other democracies the major source of political money in the Netherlands is membership fees. Even recently, membership subscriptions provide about half of all parties' revenue.
This heavy reliance on individual party members is a result of the traditional pillarization of Dutch society and politics. As a consequence of living "within one's own circle," citizens supported their own organizations. This resulted in the near absence of contributions from the business community as well as a desire to avoid state intervention and public subsidies as long as possible.
Because Dutch parties enjoy free publicity on the public broadcasting system, they spend much more on their party apparatus than on election campaigns.
The major items of party spending are salaries and social benefits for full-time and part-time staff, which account for 30 to 40 percent of the annual budget. In the late 1980s, between 7 and 20 percent of total expenses were allocated to affiliated organizations, dealing with women, youth, research, and training. Quite a bit of the rest is spent on the party journal, which is distributed among the party member.
Parties receiving public subsidies have to present annual reports on their revenue and expenses to the Minister of the Interior. Such reports have to include names or categories of donors and the amount donated for all donors who are not individuals and have donated in excess €4,563 There are no bans or limits on contributions to parties or candidates or for expenses incurred by either of them.
This keeps the business community out of interference in the political system.
It also means that it doesn't matter which individual person raises the most campaign funds to have a chance to get a seat in parliament.
There are currently 23 parties in the Dutch parliament
With another 21 parties who did not get enough votes to get a seat.
There are a total of 150 seats up for grabs.
There is usually a coalition government.
With the major winning parties forming a cabinet.
The top person in the winning party becomes the prime minister.
The Netherlands is a constitutional monarchy.
King Alexander is our current head of state.
Tough part is that they'll find loopholes one way or another likely in the form of gifts/personal transfers.

It was just certain thing Elon Musk noticed he didn't like about Jews, it has nothing to do with antisemitism, antisemitism means cleansing of Jews, gee, there are tons of actual pro-antisemitic stuff on these media that are attacking Elon Musk now, what's wrong with the world.
This isn't discourse, it's propaganda.
What does semitic mean?? Google it 😂⚡
Lex Luthorʻs real-life counterpart is Elon Musk. People need to remember that being rich does not equal being a good person.
Darkness has taken over the whole earth. Truth is attacked and buried from every corner while evil is celebrated.
Ole Elon, proving me right. I said years ago that this guy is who he is presenting himself to be..a white dude raised in South Africa during apartheid..and folks told me I was jealous and ignorant!
To those skeptical of Elon Musk, it's crucial to consider the potential consequences of undermining his ventures.
1. SpaceX's Starship Failure:
If SpaceX's Starship project were to fail, the repercussions extend beyond Musk and SpaceX. In the absence of a viable American alternative, China could seize the opportunity to dominate space exploration. Given the financial constraints faced by NASA, a setback for SpaceX could lead to a significant gap in space capabilities, ultimately compromising America's position in the global space race.
2. Tesla's Stability and Elon Musk's Role:
Removing Elon Musk from Tesla's board might seem like a victory for some investors, but it comes with substantial risks. Musk's significant stake in the company means that his departure could trigger the sale of his shares, potentially destabilizing Tesla's financial standing. This, in turn, could result in the company going bankrupt, causing severe economic ramifications not just for Tesla but for the broader electric vehicle industry.
3. National Security and Innovation:
Despite Elon Musk's imperfections, his role in driving innovation is undeniable. Crushing him entirely may have broader implications for U.S. national security. Musk's ventures are at the forefront of technological advancements, and stifling his contributions could set back American competitiveness in key industries by a decade or more. Recognizing and fostering innovation, even within the context of individual flaws, is crucial for maintaining the nation's technological edge and safeguarding national security.
In summary, it's essential to be mindful of the broader consequences that actions against Elon Musk could have on space exploration, the electric vehicle industry, and U.S. innovation and national security. Rather than solely focusing on individual grievances, a more balanced perspective is necessary to ensure the continued progress and strength of American technology and industry.
So how does that square up with Israel being an apartheid state enacting ethnic cleansing as we speak? I'm not clear on what your trying to say here....
@@frankvazquez5974 what?!
@@frankvazquez5974 He's stereotyping all white South Africans as being racist.
@@frankvazquez5974 You seem very confused. The US government would never allow Israel to 'enact ethnic cleansing' of any kind. And Israel is seeking to eradicate Hamas...a terrorist org (not a race or ethnicity) who launched the initial deadly attack against Israel and who has kidnapped hundreds of innocent women and children...and even many Americans. Either your sources are bad and you're gullible. Or, you're just too lazy to understand the situation and what's actually going on in that region and you're just trolling. Either way, your comment is asking whether the square peg fits into the round hole. It's an IQ test for young children on basic spatial pattern recognition.
Elon Musk should tackle racism and hatred that goes unchecked on his Social Media platforms, instead of spreading racism and hatred.
That's what he wants. He encourages it.
The man is at the core of racism.
Musk has been a racist all his life--from wealthy PRO-APRTHEID (racial segregation) in South Africa
Oh Please ! The man is from South Africa. Believe me, he knows what *Real Racism* looks like.
@rw0050 so should he ignore it. I don't follow him or x twit. That podium is sickening. It's hate driven.

I don't know who thought to call Musk this, but they deserve a medal.
Because someone has money does not mean, that someone is wise.
You can take the Elongated Muskrat out of South Africa, but you can never take Apartheid South Africa out of the Elongated Muskrat.

Criticising and condemning Israel government for its war crimes and genocide is not antisemitism.
The only thing I can say about the “Great Replacement” is so be it. So what?
It’s a natural effect of the Five Themes of Geography: Location, Place, Region, Movement. Interaction.
It’s inevitable.
The good news is many people have begun to recognize over the last few years that social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) seems to be doing more harm than good and hasn't actually made anyone happier. To pick even the most mundane example, fifteen years of posting endless pictures of your wedding and kids hasn't made you any happier, and has really harmed lonely and isolated people. The pandemic seems to have been the breaking point due to the extreme isolation imposed on many people.
Somehow, people raised families and were happy before they documented their curated lives and children in slightly different poses every other week on social media.
I assiduously avoid most social media. I'm only on TH-cam for the tutorials. I spend a lot of time deleting and blocking (Don't recommend channel") lunatic junk from my "recommended" algorithm. The dementia is at a fever pitch. I really don't think Al Gore thought opening up the internet through very well.
Dude lost it. To much money & power pushed his lil brain beyond the edge. His "special" brain could not take it anymore and now he took a tumble down the racist hill. People with mental issues in power never ends up well.
That's a rather strong assessment you're making. What makes you so convinced? Have any critical analysis and/or facts to back up your diagnosis?
Do you hear yourself? Read what you typed. Now apply it to Biden.
@@kcnoise Last time I checked Biden never said that Jews hate white people.
ELON MUSK IS 1000% PERCENT RIGHT 👍👍
@@kcnoise Doesn't apply. Does apply to Trump, however.
Stop investing in Musk for money. Start investing in the USA for your future. The money will come.
lol, the US is spending all its money helping Israel carry out its own apartheid and geocide. your selective outrage is cute.

The race card is old and wasted .People, are sick of it .
Just pull their plug out of the wall. Get the power companies to shut them down.
Musk reminds me of Ekhart Tolle. I agree with not minding what happens. Cooler heads will win this heated debate. Musk is the polar opposite of Tole, I might add. Truth is fact. This is about truth. Truth is important to some of us.
