      I received this as gift from friend
      I hate this Bose 10.
      For me is as normal speaker with Bluetooth.
      Due that I use Apple Music.
      With AirPlay.
      I have a cheaper speaker that work fine with AirPlay. I will ask for the invoice and see if I can return it to Best Buy

      Dude you serious?? The main reason people buy any speakers is for the SOUND QUALITY, and yet you wasted our time with your 3 min jargon with no sound test whatsoever...Pathetic

      @@mata_tabi9200 Yeah, since the system is system features is TOTALLY the main selling point of a speaker product. Not to mention the fact that he talks about the sound, with no demonstration of his claims. It is definitely a failed review.

    In an age of planned obscelence, this speaker blew me away. It lasted so long that by the time it finally gave out, this particular line of Bose speaker was no longer being made! This speaker was perfectly balanced for how much power/bass it had, and how big it was. One of my favorite speakers ever.

  • @thebigl156
    @thebigl156 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    BOSE is quite simply the system when you can afford the very BEST. I adore the 30 series I purchased a few weeks ago, for it syncs incredibly well with my Bose Airwave system, so I now intend to purchase the 10 as an additional speaker for the kitchen. I also have a Bose system hooked up to my television and computer and will confess the entertainment system is on it's third television and second computer, while both Bose systems still sound as good as the day they came out of the box. It's simply plug, play and enjoy without all the wirings, unnecessary extras and insane remotes. Furthermore, the workmanship is designed to last, (I know people who have Bose systems that are over thirty years old) and their support is impeccable. FYI I'm not paid by Bose to say this.

    So I just bought a set of these speakers. They came bundled as a pair so I assumed you can set them up in different rooms and connect together so you can enjoy your music as you move throughout your space. However I can’t seem to figure out how to do this. Any hints?

    • @Quork
      @Quork 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      if you play a song in the soundtouch app, click on "play all" this will make it play it on all speakers, alternatively you could set them up as a stereo pair, in the settings, to enjoy better directional sound (soundtouch 10 only have one driver, so thats why they sell them as pairs)

    Here's the thing...it's being labeled as a "wireless" speaker. It lacks a battery, so it must be tethered to a power source of some kind which negates the purpose of being truly wireless.

      I own this speaker. I came across it by accident. I was looking for their true smaller wireless, priced at $199 but i believe Bose stopped making it for some reason. I loved it and it kicked hard for its size!!! I m hard to please when it comes to this stuff, heavy handed, want the latest tech for a fair price (for all people😎) , and the sound has to be right. That speaker was a good fit for me, and ive never seen a speaker before or after like it. But wait, i bought this after realizing its true nature because ,honestly, we all know what happens to ANY batter operated devices after 6-10 months? The battery sucks and it has to be plugged in anyways. So this was a fix to my frustrations.Do you huff and complain or do you think and solve (for the non thinkers, I'm not looking for your reply to the last question)? I love its sound but its a bit big for what i want but luckily i have their sound bar system because it integrates and their base kicker.....woah... i mean "daaamn gina" i call it "thunder clapper" worth every. single. red. penny. If you want to spend money one time and never spend money in that department again (this is a warning ⚠️ to those who want quality and will eventually build a home with quality stuff in it!! stop wasting your money in the long run spending continuing to look for good sound) Bose is the "one and done" For real.
      Im not affiliated with them by by any means , wouldn't mind it tho;) i have musical backgrounds lol!! Jk! "👀 but Only if you are"

    Hi Andy. I really liked your review. I’m looking forward to my SoundTouch 10 purchase soon. I already own a Bose Mini II SoundLink, so with Bluetooth, can I pair that with the Bose Soundtouch10? Also if you know, and again with either WiFi/Bluetooth, can I pair the SoundTouch 10 with my Song Bravia tv like how one would have it as a personal home theater system? Thanks.

    It looks much bigger on eBay. Here's the thing, Bose if your reading this. I don't want small, I want you to design me a big jam box. styled like those large flat boxes from the early 80s. Something big and powerful. With a single 8 or 10 inch subwoofer right in the center powered by it's own class d amp, two 4" mids and 1" tweets off to the sides. and chambered ports coming out the back. With a carry strap, a molded hand hold to hold up to my ear, lastly a 24v input for a Kobalt tool battery to power it.

    For all you recent commenting people, do you own this? We recently got it and cannot find a real review of actual play and longevity of listening. Every 30-40 minutes the speaker loses connection, stops playing the music to have to re hit play on the phone or just hear it "blip" as it reconnects or reloads because it can't keep up with the stream of music? IDK but it's annoying to have to rehit play every so often when listening to music throughout the day 2-3 times an hour. Definitely doesn't have a steady stable connection and for the price. . . . sucks. Other alternatives that sounds great require charging and cannot play and charge at the same time. (True wireless speakers). So hard to get a good home speaker for a shelf to make use of the thousands of dollars of library music stored on a PC from days of yore because you are just suppose to stream crappy app radio stations of repetitious play. Ugh frustrated. Wired sadly is still the ultimate way to go. Digitial music still can't replace even a mediocre home sound system with hard media.

    Genuine Question: Is it possible to add TH-cam Music to the list of services like Spotify and Pandora and have it function within the app itself, WITHOUT using Bluetooth and the TH-cam Music app itself?
    Also would the bose app need to be running in order for that to work or would the presets have the speaker function all on its own?
    Basically what im trying to do specifically is have 24/7 Radio streams available at the touch of a button, without the need to have another device streaming it to a speaker.

    My MacBook syncs better with the ST10 than Minilink II.
    Sound is about the same with natural bass reach
    And...(adjusted for my 20x30 thin-coated space).
    Next Father's day I want's gets paired stereo with a second ST10.

    Beware of counterfeits of this unit. I got one from a reputable electronics dealer. The serial number was rejected as invalid by the Bose support website despite my having entered it several times, right off the label on the bottom. Since the serial number was fake, I couldn’t even request assistance from Bose.

    I’m old and technologically challenged, but I love my Bose. Problem I hope someone can help with is I bought 2 speakers for my garage thru my iPhone. I can’t figure out how to get both to play. H E L P !!!!!

    Thanks for the video. I was looking for reviews regarding Bose ST 10. Seems good. Am torn between Bose ST 10 and Bose Solo 5 TV system due to the cost, later costing little more. Am aware that the Catg is different, but with Solo 5, I was wondering if this 2 in 1 - TV system + play music via BT devices will be more beneficial.

    So the wireless speaker isn’t wireless. It needs to be plugged in!! The plug in makes it wired.

    I love Bose or used to love Bose but this speaker is weak. It has to be plugged in which sucks and the sound is super muddy. I was hesitant about it because of the cord but I knew Bose had killer sound and huge bass so I bought it anyway and sadly I was so disappointed. Sometimes it was tolerable if I placed it in just the right spot but I love to cook and shower with music and plugging and unplugging was just dumb. It would maybe be doable if it sounded awesome but I couldn't do it anymore and got rid of it within 2 months.
