I think Tree live is basically a spiritual experience, whatever your beliefs or lack of them. Thousands of fans of all ages and walks of life joined together with two regular guys from Ohio in a joyful celebration of the music and being alive. I-/

Trees is always the last song of every concert, and my daughter was able to be one of those holding up Josh at the last one near us. I asked her if it was hard to hold him up, but she said there were so many hands helping that it was easy to do. Also, my daughter has epilepsy, too. She went through some real depression and feeling very alone. This band's music and lyrics helped her through it. Everyone has something they struggle with, and Twenty One Pilots speaks to that. We are not alone, people do care, and there are no better fans than the Twenty One Pilots fans (the Clique).

theres a reason everyone is telling you to grab tickets to their tour in fall, you NEED to experience this band and song live. for flashing lights and all that ive heard people say dark sunglasses help a lot (the ones that block peripheral vision)

There's nothing quite like it, it's a beautiful experience. And, this tour will most def have their older stuff, as they always go back thru their catalog. And for the triple... I understand fully what you mean by the energy they give of not being alone. They're the only band I've ever heard where I can listen to a song and say, "That's me. That's exactly where I am."
Also, if you love drums, please please please do the Armistice Live version of the song 'Burden' by Mutemath when you can. There are part of that song where I swear Darren King sounds like two people playing those drums. The main beat might sound simple for most of the song, but if you listen between the beat, holy shit there's a lot going on.

You said it well. I’ve been to many concerts over the years but I felt I was just in a big crowd. But this band is special, when I saw them they topped my highest expectations. I felt at home, I felt as one with the crowd. No longer strangers but among a group of friends I never met yet. This song is the perfect ending to the show 💛 |-/ 🥹

Sorry I’m late to the party!!! Girl thank you so much for this reaction! I knew you were gonna love it! This song breaks my heart every time I hear it just because I know it’s the end of the show, but definitely one of my favorites and I believe it’s a fan favorite of all of us.
I was lucky enough to see these guys live a few years ago, and you're not kidding: It really is like a religious experience! Even though it's just two people, they are able to command crowds effortlessly, and I just don't know how they do it. They are truly something special! I really hope you get to see them one day too!

I’m pretty sure they always end with trees. I’m not sure about this coming tour but I wouldn’t doubt it for a second. I’ve seen them live 4 times and 3 of those times they ended with trees.
Girl I felt that f@&! You shouted after saying you'd probably not hear trees live if you went. Just the sound of that swear, I felt lol. Anyways live at MTV is a definite must, but also their mutemath session. Is a live recording where they had collaborated with another band, mutemath. But as another person that's in love with the drumming too, I have to mention that there's an amazing "drum-off" outro in that mutemath one. I particularly like that drumming outro so much that I'm slowly trying to get into drumming myself because those two drummers Josh and the other guy, I'm sorry to say I don't really know the mutemath band or drummer, but Josh and him (mainly Josh) have me trying to learn myself because that outro song has a visual of their drumming that just looks so fun to me, like half a second of the mutemath drummers drumming is forever cemented in my brain, and so all this to say, look up the "twenty one pilots mutemath sessions" too. Love your TøP reactions energy

theyve done trees all five concerts I've been to since 2016
My dad had epilepsy and he couldn’t attend a lot of functions and certainly not concerts with me. It was a bummer. My family can relate to that. I don’t know how bad you’re affected by lights, but if it’s not too bad…I hope you can go. It’s the best shows I’ve ever been to.
