- We moved into a train caboose to see how it feels to live tiny. We love riding trains and thought it would be an amazing idea to stay in one. So we scoured the internet and found one close to our home in Jewett, Texas.
This tiny caboose offers a one-of-a-kind accommodation experience that will transport you back in time to the golden age of rail travel. Situated around a beautiful lake in the countryside, this place is a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Not you falling out the hammock 😂
I fell so hard!
You fell as hard as I LOL'd 😂
@@WillEdmond Thanks for including it!
I know it was fate for me to find this channel. You guys do things I have dreamed of doing. Thank you guys for being my motivation. I am encouraged to continue with the life I long for. This little chocolate girl from Jacksonville, Florida is going to make it!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
I’m so glad you are here and hope our paths cross! You can definitely do all of this. Go any and everywhere your heart desires.
5:16 Nice video. I enjoyed watching. Thank you for sharing. There’s a property not to far off Hwy 69. It’s South of Tyler but North of Bullard, Texas that has a Train Station for a house, a Caboose, and a passenger train that was converted into a long bar. I used to cut the grass on the property. This was back in the late 70’s. The man was a retired Train Conductor. He was a very pleasant person. His property was on the other side of the old East Texas Bible College off of Hwy 69.
Wow! I’d love to stay in that property. I appreciate you sharing all the info.
@@WillEdmond -You’re welcome. Seems like a wonderful place.

I went camping with mates and shared a hammock with this one mate… we got comfy but then them hammock ropes gave way we fell to the ground, my mate landed on a log and some rock, I landed on dirt. Not fun but funny at the same time 😜

Fun Fact : A Cotton Belt Steam Excursion Star Has Been To Tyler Texas In Her Last Run
Didn’t know! Thanks for the fact
@@WillEdmond You're Welcome
Here's Some More : The Engine That Has Been To Tyler Texas Is The Last Steam Locomotive For The Cotton Belt Or Its Proper Name : The St.Louis Southwestern
The Engine Is Number 819. He Is Classified As An L1 Northern. There Were 5 L1 Northerns Built In His Heyday. Unfortunately,4 Of Them Did Not Survive From The Scrappers Torch. The 819 Was Displayed In Oakland Park In Pine Bluff, Arkansas In 1955. But In 1983, The Newly Formed Cotton Belt Rail Historical Society [ CBRHS ] Convinced The Railroad Itself To Move The Engine To The Old Machine Shops In Pine Bluff Or They Plan To Only Cosmetically Restore The Engine. Unbeknownst To The Cotton Belt The Volunteers Had Different Plans For The 819 And Within Years & $ 125,000 Later The 819 Is Back Under Steam Once Again. The 819 Has Also Attended The Event In St.Louis,Missouri For The NRHS Convention In 1990. Her Last Excursion Came In 1993 From Pine Bluff To Tyler,Texas & Back
Today, The Pride Of The Cotton Belt Sit Inside The Pine Bluff Shops Now Home To The Arkansas Railroad Museum Awaiting For A Cosmetic Restoration
I Just Hope That Someday The 819 Will Be Back Under Steam Again. Thanks To The CBRHS For Moving The Engine To His Own Shop
Great video Will.
I appreciate ya!
