@@rjharrold2907 I’m with you. I don’t want Johnston either. He’s got bust written all over him. Never trust TCU receivers. I really want Addison or JSN. If not than Torrence and Boutte in the second round.
The Giants new GM likes their high upside players and showed last year he was willing to draft way ahead of where the consensus was. He also showed he values versatility. I would say that, assuming a good combine, Cody Mauch could go to them at 25. He played every position on the line and is an upside prospect assuming he can work on improving his frame. Wouldn't rule out John Michael Schmidz either.
I don't see us going Mauch that early. I could see Schmidz but thats if the board goes pretty bad for us and that would be Addison, Torrence, the top two-fourish corners that are worth that pick gone, Branch gone, Kancey gone, JSN and Zay gone.
I liked your mock but 3 players to watch that may make it into the 1st rd are Keion White-ED-GT(KC or Eagles?), Darnell Wright-OT-Tenn(Bengals?) and Emmanuel Forbes-CB-Miss St.
Fascinating first mock draft from you so far! With how much wide receiver stock has gone up through draft and FA recently, I think it says a lot about this class that the first skill position drafted was a TE lol. Fascinated to see your wr rankings since I was hoping seahawks would be able to snag JSN As a seahawks fan, one thing I would point out is that it seems they never draft Corners early in the draft so I doubt it happens now even though I love Witherspoon as a prospect. I assume as we go through the draft process you'll probably fine tune these mocks and incorporate things like organizational tendencies when it comes to their drafting process.
Yeah from what I've seen this is more what HE would do as GM of these teams, not necessarily what the teams have had a history of doing (see the Rodgers trade and then drafting a te for GB lol)
idk how i’d feel about the seahawks draft if it went like this cause i feel we NEED trench help real bad and i think we should at least use one of our 1st on the D-line
Lions will be choosing 3 defensive players in their first two rounds. One CB for sure and another D lineman that will draw a double team freeing up Aiden.
Not true at all Brad Holmes is taking the best guy on the board period! Rather that's defense or offense he's already shown he can pick defense no matter what round malcolm rodriguez 5th rd Kerby Joseph 3rd James Houston 6th he finds talent no biggie
Way I see it, Ravens have 2 glaring needs, wr and corner. So if you're the Ravens, do you buy wr's and draft a corner in the first or vice-versa? Wr's are more expensive but you seem to have better luck drafting and developing corners.
It's crazy to me that you draft two offensive players to the lions with a bottom 5 defense. Terrible corner play and terrible line play along with mid lb play is the reason they lost. They have already come out and said that goff is there guy moving forward. There is no reason to draft somebody as risky and inconsistent as richardson, especially at pick 6. I would put a million dollars that they do not go rochardson let alone qb
The Lions’ defense was LAST in the NFL in total defense while we went 1-6. Still wasn’t a top 20 defense after we closed the season at 9-8. A QB at 6 would be the dumbest possible pick they could do.
That’s what I’ve been saying to all the Lions fans on here asking for AR. Goff brought them back to relevancy, with the few weapons he has and a bad defense. Get a couple more weapons for Goff, but plug the holes on defense from FA and draft
Feel like when you do more research on Joey Porter, you’ll love him and have him as a top 3 CB. He’s my number 1 CB and honestly a top 5 player in the draft imo
As a Seahawks fan I pray to God we do not take Witherspoon that high when we could get a pass rusher. Like the Addison pick Seattle hasn't had a #3 since the Baldwin, Rice, Tate days and Lockette is getting older. Eskridge was a pick I hated and still do to this day. Also I like Bijan to Carolina but they could possibly trade back and still make it happen depending on whos on the board.
Interesting twist re: the Rodgers > Jets trade. None of the projections I've seen for that trade feature GB picking up the tab - that's good creative analysis and an original take! All that said... speaking as a Jets fan who's far lower than consensus on Rodgers, the Jets, and the Jets' current regime, I'd be extremely discouraged by such a deal haha
I've loved the Lions this year and I haven't liked the idea that the Lions would want to move on from Goff so quickly, but the Anthony Richardson pick is such an amazing pick. I hope Goff puts more respect on his name, plays 1-2 maybe 3 great seasons for the Lions, and then we see Richardson lead an incredible new Lions team once he's fully developed. I also love your draft analysis, and I think your picks and reasoning are some of the most sound picks on YT, love the content.
Bro I want what your smoking with having Detroit take Richardson. They need a stout CB and maybe a FS not a QB. If they were to take a QB it wouldn’t be Richardson or Young.
Love your videos but Seattle going CB at 5 and WR at 20 is a casual take. #1: Seattle’s two glaring liabilities are IDL and LB, with more depth being ideal at EDGE, and it’s not really arguable. Another freakish corner alongside Woolen would be awesome, but it’s nowhere near as much of a need as the front 7 when you already have Coby Bryant and Tre Brown potentially being young in-house options on the outside who are still improving. Lockett is also still awesome and WR is simply not a need relative to defense when Goodwin was an awesome WR3 when healthy coupled with the late emergence of Dareke Young. On the other hand, 36 year old Al Woods will likely be the only notable DT that Seattle retains this offseason, Jordyn Brooks will be out for most of next season, and Cody Barton was a complete liability. An entire revamp of their IDL and LB is necessary to have any semblance of a run defense moving forward. EDGE depth would also be nice, because Seattle realistically only has Nwosu (great), Taylor (inconsistent with non-existent run D), and Mafe (young and raw, not a high ceiling). #2: Devon Witherspoon is not that much better than Tyree Wilson/Myles Murphy to justify drafting BPA. There are prospects on the front 7 who are arguably better than Witherspoon, and I’m not at all convinced that Witherspoon is BPA at 5 so “drafting for need over BPA” can’t really be an argument. Same for Jordan Addison over Trenton Simpson or Bresee/Kancey/Ika. Even O’Cyrus Torrence is arguably a better prospect at 20 than Addison and fills a much larger need #3: Pete has historically drafted his corners late in the draft. Not saying PCJS wouldn’t ever go corner high in the draft, but Pete has always prided himself on his CB development and it hasn’t historically been the drafting style of the Seahawks
I think thats his floor in this draft is falling down to the Chargers tbh Whispers have it that New England is very interested so thats about where I'd put the ceiling
No way Seahawks don’t go LOS on either side of the ball. I get cb2 and wr3 are needs, but LG, C and DT are such MASSIVE needs there’s no way they don’t come out of the first round without one of those players. Could see them going DT/Edge with 5 and OG/C with 20 especially after Michael-Schmitz turnout at the senior bowl. However, I could see them go for cb2 and wr3 in the second round, especially if jaylin hyiatt is there
If the Bears trade the top pick to the Colts (or some other team)and they take Bryce Young, then hopefully my Houston Texans draft Jalen Carter. One good turn deserves another. 😊 We are not giving up picks and we care not giving up players just to move up one spot. If the Bears want Carter, let them use the first pick to take Carter. How does that sound, franchise guy?
Bears fan. I couldn’t agree more. No guarantee that Carter will be there at #4. I would want Texans: -2023 second overall pick -2023 and 2024 second rounders OR -2023 second overall pick -2023 fourth rounder -2024 first rounder -bears give up 2024 second rounder Colts would have to give me a crazy ton of picks for me to miss out on Carter. I would also get someone on the defensive interior during free agent in case i do trade down to 4 and miss carter. At least I get Will Anderson then
You advocate going BPA for Seattle (despite having holes across the dline), but then a pick later have the raiders fill the biggest need even if it's not BPA. I know qb's are that important, so is a pass rush. Cannot see Seattle passing on a pass rusher, no matter how good the top corner is.
While I do not agree with a couple of picks (e.g. I think it's highly unlikly for the Lions to go offense at 6 and 18 when offense was allready their strength and the defense had major issues) I really appreciate the reasoning behind every pick - every explanation feels concise and comprehensible.
Curious what you think of the Texans taking Carter or Anderson at 2, and then trading their future firsts to move up from 12 to 5 to get a guy like stroud
Another person who doesn't know how the Seahawks draft... Carrol and Schneider both said that they want to focus on improving in the trenches. They have never drafted a corner higher than the 3rd round and pride themselves on developing day 3 defensive backs. I think if they don't take and edge at #5, which I hope they don't, that they will try to trade down from 5 and secure a future round 1 pick along with a mid to late round 1 DT like Bresee or Kancey.
I'll this as a Seahawks fan, I would be stunned (and disappointed) if the Seahawks took a Cornerback at #5. Tariq Woolen is a stud and Coby Bryant and Michael Jackson were adequate young players who showed flashes. For me, the bigger issue is Box safety (or keeping Jamaal Adams healthy), getting pass rush, LB2 and IDL beef. (Or replacing the scheme altogether would be great too) Would not be fond of this pick, but that's been the case for every Seahawks first rounder for about a decade now. Appreciate the content. Excited for more draft coverage.
I know you probably haven’t seen a lot of the film on him yet, but what is the specific reason for Myles Murphy being so low? I know he’s a bit raw, but from what I’ve seen on tape Tyree Wilson is definitely less defined as a rusher and they both have comparable potentials. Murphy is also much younger. Just wondering if there’s a glaring concern or something on tape that I didn’t pick up on.
It's interesting to have Bijan Robinson on the Panthers but we've seen how well we've run the ball with D'Onta Foreman and we need help at edge and corner because we have Brian Burns and Jaycee Horn and that's basically it.
Looking forward to seeing your assessment of the CB group, definitely think James Bradberry has played himself out of the Eagles price range so getting a top 10 pick rookie CB definitely feels like the strategy the Eagles are gonna go with this year
Love the excellent mock Marcus! As a Titans fan I love the Paris Johnson Jr pick at 11 as LT is a big need. AR15 will likely be gone before they pick but if available would be interesting to see if they gamble on his potential. As Malik Willis needs to make huge strides in development next year. Dobbs could be starter if they cut Tannehill (very unlikely) due to cap reasons, and wishfully tank for Caleb Williams (again unlikely under Vrabel and Carthon). I feel the Titans need to build a roster like the Eagles, start with great O-Line and D-Line, before getting a rookie QB on first contract. Round 1 OT (Paris Johnson Jr, Skoronksi or Broderick Jones to replace Lewan) Round 2 WR deep ball talent (Jalin Hyatt and cut Robert Woods) Round 3 D-Line edge rusher (cut Dupree) Round 5 Go O-Line Guard (In case can't resign Nate Davis) Round 6 Blocking TE (Cut Swaim) Round 7 Linebacker (Cut Cunningham, Dupree)
Marcus, RB is at the bottom of the Panthers needs. Even if we get Carr, try TE, DE, MLB, CB before another running back. We actually got better running the ball with D’Onta Foreman and Chuba Hubbard.
kinda terrifying that the Eagles just have the # 10 pick in the draft while also being in the super bowl and still getting AJ Brown from last years 1st round pick
I would love to see GB get Michael Mayer, we’ve needed a TE for so long, and he would be the perfect chain mover to complement the big play ability of Watson
Jerry Jones is a racist who doesn't care about what he did in the photo leak he does t have to apologize he not an employee like kyrie living who is a high paid slave who limits himself he shouldn't have to work for nobody

Its not good when your best trait is run after catch at that size when you are a strider and yes quick but also kinda stiff and weird because of the longer legs
@@rjharrold2907 I’m with you. I don’t want Johnston either. He’s got bust written all over him. Never trust TCU receivers. I really want Addison or JSN. If not than Torrence and Boutte in the second round.
Good video dude, I Subscribed.
Bad take on Jonah Jackson in there. He’s an elite guard and definitely deserved his pro bowl and will deserve the big contract he gets
It's like Christmas 🎄 NEW TFG MOCK DRAFT
pullin geebs and listening to ur mock analysis. u gotta a good eye
Much better than anything I've ever seen on espn
Thank you!
Tariq Woolen and Devon Witherspoon would be a disgustingly good corner duo
Yea
He inevitably gonna fall on some people boards it doesn't matter so don't need white people to validate me
Antonio Johnson looks like a hybrid of Jayron Kearse and ironically Donovan Wilson
Fascinated to see your wr rankings since I was hoping seahawks would be able to snag JSN
As a seahawks fan, one thing I would point out is that it seems they never draft Corners early in the draft so I doubt it happens now even though I love Witherspoon as a prospect.
Witherspoon at 6, Van Ness at 18, Noah Sewell at 48
Not true at all Brad Holmes is taking the best guy on the board period! Rather that's defense or offense he's already shown he can pick defense no matter what round malcolm rodriguez 5th rd Kerby Joseph 3rd James Houston 6th he finds talent no biggie
ITS TFG DRAFT SEASON!!!!!!
I could see this dude on ESPN or CBS sports, seriously man great content
Way I see it, Ravens have 2 glaring needs, wr and corner. So if you're the Ravens, do you buy wr's and draft a corner in the first or vice-versa? Wr's are more expensive but you seem to have better luck drafting and developing corners.
You have this listed as 2022 mock draft on your graphic, but it's the 2023 mock draft
Love these mocks Marcus just remember ur never gonna please anyone no matter what u do stick to your guns and do what u think! Best channel out there.
Marcus started with the deep dives a couple of years ago in the offseason keep up the great work looking forwarded to them again
the bijan pick is wild
Bijan going to Carolina would be nasty
The Lions’ defense was LAST in the NFL in total defense while we went 1-6. Still wasn’t a top 20 defense after we closed the season at 9-8. A QB at 6 would be the dumbest possible pick they could do.
That’s what I’ve been saying to all the Lions fans on here asking for AR. Goff brought them back to relevancy, with the few weapons he has and a bad defense. Get a couple more weapons for Goff, but plug the holes on defense from FA and draft
All the reasons you selected Richardson for Lions work for Seattle, CB is so deep this year. They should take a shot on Richardson if he’s there
Love it! Excited for the upcoming draft content
Appreciate you clarifying it’s a what I would do mock draft, always important to define your intentions with each pick
Feel like when you do more research on Joey Porter, you’ll love him and have him as a top 3 CB. He’s my number 1 CB and honestly a top 5 player in the draft imo
Lions: Very good offense, bottom three defense. Two offensive picks in the first? No, thanks.
I like Torrence at 18. Not a lions fan but that matches Cambells toughness. Building a bully
Nah thats a terrible pick, he isn't a first round prospect at all. L logic
There’s no way that the Texans give up Cooks to move up 1 spot when they know they’ll probably get Young anyway
THANK GOODNESS HERE WE GO BABY!!!!!
23:03 THINK ABOUT THE RUN BLOCKING!!! great pick.
Marcus up in his element....da offseason
Even O’Cyrus Torrence is arguably a better prospect at 20 than Addison and fills a much larger need
#3: Pete has historically drafted his corners late in the draft. Not saying PCJS wouldn’t ever go corner high in the draft, but Pete has always prided himself on his CB development and it hasn’t historically been the drafting style of the Seahawks
Jets ain’t giving up 2 1sts for Rodgers
god Zay Flowers would be so perfect for the Chargers, that would be such a good pick
I think thats his floor in this draft is falling down to the Chargers tbh
Whispers have it that New England is very interested so thats about where I'd put the ceiling
However, I could see them go for cb2 and wr3 in the second round, especially if jaylin hyiatt is there
yea what you said cause the Raiders need Witherspoon BAD
5 WRs in the first round with this class? I’m no so sure about that but respect anyways nice Mock
Draft season lets go!!!!
Was throwing in Cooks realistic? I feel like the trade was just fine without the player and just the picks
It could be the NFL is a business and they don't care about what thee players think about there decisions
As always thanks for the spicy content! 🙏🏻
I’ve been waiting for this
If the Bears trade the top pick to the Colts (or some other team)and they take Bryce Young, then hopefully my Houston Texans draft Jalen Carter. One good turn deserves another. 😊
We are not giving up picks and we care not giving up players just to move up one spot.
If the Bears want Carter, let them use the first pick to take Carter.
How does that sound, franchise guy?
The cb at 5 for the hawks is crazy we would never draft a cb let alone a db that high the Highest was prolly earl thomas at like 14
Bears fan. I couldn’t agree more. No guarantee that Carter will be there at #4. I would want Texans:
-2023 second overall pick
-2023 and 2024 second rounders
OR
-2023 second overall pick
-2023 fourth rounder
-2024 first rounder
-bears give up 2024 second rounder
Colts would have to give me a crazy ton of picks for me to miss out on Carter.
How does this year’s class compare to recent years?
While I do not agree with a couple of picks (e.g. I think it's highly unlikly for the Lions to go offense at 6 and 18 when offense was allready their strength and the defense had major issues) I really appreciate the reasoning behind every pick - every explanation feels concise and comprehensible.
Curious what you think of the Texans taking Carter or Anderson at 2, and then trading their future firsts to move up from 12 to 5 to get a guy like stroud
I feel like stroud is gone by then
Only if someone else traded up. The colts and Texans should be the only teams in the top 5 taking qbs
@mitchellschmidt3271 stroud and young are 1 and to which is why I think he is gone but maybe if colts plike Levi's like that
Why would Texans take Anderson, then trade up and take stroud? They’re both QBs. But either way Texans are going QB
Another person who doesn't know how the Seahawks draft... Carrol and Schneider both said that they want to focus on improving in the trenches. They have never drafted a corner higher than the 3rd round and pride themselves on developing day 3 defensive backs. I think if they don't take and edge at #5, which I hope they don't, that they will try to trade down from 5 and secure a future round 1 pick along with a mid to late round 1 DT like Bresee or Kancey.
i’ve been waiting for this video for so long!!💙💚
I'll this as a Seahawks fan, I would be stunned (and disappointed) if the Seahawks took a Cornerback at #5. Tariq Woolen is a stud and Coby Bryant and Michael Jackson were adequate young players who showed flashes. For me, the bigger issue is Box safety (or keeping Jamaal Adams healthy), getting pass rush, LB2 and IDL beef. (Or replacing the scheme altogether would be great too)
Would not be fond of this pick, but that's been the case for every Seahawks first rounder for about a decade now.
Appreciate the content. Excited for more draft coverage.
I would also hate DB at 5 for the Seahawks, but it’s totally possible, wouldn’t put anything past Carroll
TFG, how does Will Anderson compare to Kayvon Thibodeaux and Aidan Hutchinson last year? How would you rank them?
Will is clearly better than the both of them, no?
Will above them both
It's interesting to have Bijan Robinson on the Panthers but we've seen how well we've run the ball with D'Onta Foreman and we need help at edge and corner because we have Brian Burns and Jaycee Horn and that's basically it.
Round 1 OT (Paris Johnson Jr, Skoronksi or Broderick Jones to replace Lewan)
Round 2 WR deep ball talent (Jalin Hyatt and cut Robert Woods)
Round 3 D-Line edge rusher (cut Dupree)
Round 5 Go O-Line Guard (In case can't resign Nate Davis)
Round 6 Blocking TE (Cut Swaim)
Round 7 Linebacker (Cut Cunningham, Dupree)
Marcus, RB is at the bottom of the Panthers needs. Even if we get Carr, try TE, DE, MLB, CB before another running back. We actually got better running the ball with D’Onta Foreman and Chuba Hubbard.
kinda terrifying that the Eagles just have the # 10 pick in the draft while also being in the super bowl and still getting AJ Brown from last years 1st round pick
Lions will NOT take a QB at 6
Bijan would be kinda fun but we need to find a long term option at QB. unless ur high on matt corral to develop behind carr
If panthers took Bijan at 9 I would jump off the roof of the tallest building in charlotte
YESSS MY GOAT IS BACK
Branch and Mayer...YES PLEASE
Love the vid. Lions not coming out the first rd with out a corner me thinks
Deep class, and free agency exists
Yes it does and I'm sniffing around Jalen Ramsey, and I would sign someone like Jamel Dean TB.But I got to have witherspoon,Gonzales, or porter .
I would love to see GB get Michael Mayer, we’ve needed a TE for so long, and he would be the perfect chain mover to complement the big play ability of Watson
Is Brian Breese good though ? Seriously asking. Praying one of the top tackles falls to 17
Lovie Smith definitely knew he was getting the shaft so he decided to throw one last FU back at the Texans front office
God damn I love you. Always consistent always fire
Good for you hope your happy supporting a institution like this so what my own league then so can make the rules
Jerry Jones is a racist who doesn't care about what he did in the photo leak he does t have to apologize he not an employee like kyrie living who is a high paid slave who limits himself he shouldn't have to work for nobody
I am detoxing from white people liking me I trying to buy more black owned business since the white man wont stop being white and racist
Ice Cube has has started the trend of ownership
I don't want want to be a white supremacist no more it still exists in the black man and the white man
FINALLY A GOOD MOCK DRAFT!!! always gotta trust ur draft knowledge!
Not a bad mock draft but he was dead wrong on the lions
@@FrostDefiant Hawks too
As a seahawks fan I'm into it. I kinda like Flowers the best at WR in this draft though.
I'd bet my house Lions don't pick a QB at 6...
It's 3 am I'm fist deep in a individual watermelon that I'm eating like a bread bowl, I'm questioning my life choices but proceeding with caution
Also great video Marcus
