- We all want to eat more then bugs as a dragon so here is a run down of the AI in and coming to the game as well as the three Elementals that will be wanting to take a bite out of our Dragons

@@meiymiyeah6895 I don't know if they will manage it, but they are aiming to get the first of the Elementals in at the end of this year, early next year. All of its animations are in and its been shown off plenty of times in livestreams.
As always, I appreciate the update video and will be sharing it with my community, Lusewing, but I just have to say I completely lost it at the "Yeet!" being played. x'D

@@Lusewing I’m wondering if it’ll take as much effort or more effort to take it down than a sand slayer worm, because if so, we are most likely doomed :P
@maxximus6418 I believe it will take around the same amount of effort. The big thing is that the Slayer worms are in a set location, if you go to them, you go to them to fight.
With the hydra it can move, but it has to eat dragon bile to stay together, so if the server doesn't feel like it's strong enough to take it down, then people can just move away or log off. Both kills however I likely going to give big rewards.

The hydra is basically a server ender, but it can also be starved, so it can be defeated with no effort in a way by starving it and depriving it of food :D
I’m also curious as to if the magma elemental will still require drinking lava to fuel its attacks alongside the others, as if it does, that would probably be better so then it can be more limited in its movement and won’t be super overpowered all the time
@@maxximus6418 Its certonly going to take a lot of testing to find the right balence
The fire behemoth and ice behemoth vs the hydra would be interesting, the tow strongest dragons so far vs the ultimate elemental.
I hope we get a giant water behemoth maybe half the size of the queen slayer worm, and it needs to be a water serpent
Or like a dragon turtle that let's other dragons breath in it's shell.

Ngl I'd expect the Hydra would win that fight. Since it's technically 3 vs 2, and Im sure the hydra will be drastically larger than even the behemoths.
@Blood_SC Oh very much so. Just looking at class alone Behemoths are class 8, where as the Hydra is class 9
@@Lusewing not that big of a difference, acid spitters are class 3 but can still take out a class 4-5

Likely a few years yes, though the swamp snapper and Irinhide grazer are both set to come with the next two big updates.
Yeah I don't expect an update till next year at the earliest. It's been almost 6 months since the previous and going by the past we've got another 6 months before we can expect one.
@geehammer1511 Devs are planning to have all parts of 1.0 in by the end of the year. So that will be the Blitz and the Brood watcher as well as the Swamp snapper and Ironhide grazer.
@@Lusewing Jao says that but I do not believe him. I have doubts we'll see Brood Watcher this year.
Would like to be wrong. The game needs an update because many players have left. I'm one of a few in my clan that actually turns the game on. I only do that to collect passive ticks.
I went from spending a hundred+ hours a week playing to less than 5 hrs a week.
@geehammer1511 They very much agree that they pushed 1.0 out way too early. The Brood watcher is pretty much ready to go already and I can promise that you are going to love the changes to the map. Only worries I have are for the AI as they will be more complex then whst we have now.

That whole elemental hydra idea sounds absolutely fantastic, the idea of three fully powered elemental players forming into one massive monster is just perfect. Its like becoming the final boss of a game. Its also very smart making it so the players would need to keep getting energy or they would turn back to normal so that those three players wont just stay incredibly strong forever
Yup. Its going to take a lot of work but if they can pull it off it will be a really fun addition

They need to add the biomes to divide all of these creatures.
They will be adding different maps you can get to via portals until the mega map is ready

That would be the dream. They can swim so they could even be pushed towards rivers and water
@@Lusewing Interesting... So a clan could gather a hunting party to drive some of the Ironhide into the oceon where they would be ambushed by that sea serpent dragon that I have forgotten the name of :D

Actually, it was said that the hydra can only be controlled by the elemental that started the fusion.
The center head, the Thunder Elemental, will be the one in control of thd main body. The Fire and Ice heads will be controlled by their respective players and will act as turrets.

That “Yeet” was hilarious😂. Also when sacrificing an elder, does that mean it HAS to die or just get damaged? Am confused
Basically, you will need to delete one of your elders on that server to get access to the Elemental.

Ficamos bastante tempo sem atualizações. As atualizações 1.1, 1.2 etc foram adiadas? Tem previsao pra 2.0?
Você pode conferir o Trello do jogo na descrição do vídeo. Atualmente, eles estão trabalhando para corrigir os problemas do 1.0 e atualizarão o 1.01. Ele adicionará mais comida, melhor otimização, o dragão Blitz Striker e a IA do Swamp snapper.

So is there only one map in the game? Like where is the dessert? Is that the old version. Sorry I started playing last week.
Oh no worries, there will be other maps that are accessible through portals. However, they are focusing on the first map to get that finished first.
The eventual aim is for there to be a massive map containing all biome (it's hight map has already been made) but they need to wait till UE5 can handle it with multiplayer

No ETA, but it's coming soon, many of us got to take part in recent tests. They no longer give out dates and prefer to release when everything is ready for each update.
Cant wait to actually have something to do in the game. Its just a chat room at the moment.
There is at least the nesting, though that's still just bare bones without the full skin system in the game. Very much looking forward to seeing and tackling the larger AI
PvP? Large clan battles? Seems like PvP and clans are the main focus of this game. If ur not interested in PvP or joining a clan then honestly I’ve no idea y u purchased the game.
@@dannyphantom121 it's not the main focus, it's one side, just because it's something you focus on doesn't mean its the only thing. Sure I enjoy PvP but I also enjoy a solo experience every now and then, you got to admit the games empty man.
@@dannyphantom121 The Devs are adding a lot to PvE and DvE in particular lots of Emotes to aid in RP and the new skin system so that everyone can show off their own style. New AI to hunt as well as the Elementals will also add a more controlled form of PvP

So i will need to shameful return to dragon after being killed as a elemental?
Not i dont like play as the dragon this why i play the game but i can imagine some realy weird situations wile playng with friends
True, but I would imagine you can get some pretty good rewards for killing an elemental, particularly a hydra. It's why the requirements are do high to avoid people from just farming them

The game looks like it’s coming along nicely but I just gotta say, why do all the dragons/ai look like they come from completely different games? They seem extremely stylised to the point that they don’t even look like they fit in the same genre
This game always had a dilemma with art style since the beginning, especially since so many of the dragons are knockoffs of the HTTYD designs. Creativity is not DoD's strong point.
All the dragons are made by the same artist. Much like the real world each dragon fills a different need in the ecology just think how different all the birds on earth look.
@@Lusewing i totally get what your trying to say but that’s not what I meant. Having diverse dragons is amazing! But I was actually on about the way the designs were made. The bio dragon for example looks almost cartoony? And doesn’t seem like it fits well in the game. But obviously the devs can design the dragons however they want to, it’s their game after all and I’m just being nitpicky.
@planetplum8526 Nothing wrong with being focused on details. It doesn't show up well on TH-cam videos but the Bio does have very fine scales. It was designed looking at day geckos and poison dart frogs.
Nobody thaking about the ferral drake AI or its just me 😅
I'm excited to see it. Being class 4 means it will be bigger than the ASD

I had noooo idea about all these elemenal related info! Wow, when I started the game and heard about them I thought “meh, I’m here for the dragons”, now I might give elementals a shot.
But sacrificing my elder dragon will be sad🫠
It's for balance, they font want players farming Elementals with their friends.
