Thanks for the update, but I'm still not seeing buttery smooth autofocus on the XH2S. I think the engineers at Fuji need to improve their autofocus capabilities. Despite this, I still love Fuji cameras and hope that future models, such as the XH3, will have better hardware and software for autofocus.
@ well for a hybrid shooter … I think the Sony is slightly doing better than the Fuji … and yes ofc the AF . For instance I did a shoot with my Fuji xh2s for a client… as I came back home most of the pic weren’t sharp .. secondly I had some difficulty with focusing as well . I use the Sony as well … I was shocked to see that it did a better performance comparatively to the Fuji. Sony A73* Sony cameras, such as the Alpha series, have some of the fastest and most accurate autofocus systems, prior to my experience Sony dominates in video with features like 4K/120fps, advanced codecs, and professional-grade features in cameras like the A7S 3 and even the 4 Fujifilm cameras are good for video (e.g., X-H2S), but they might not offer the same level of performance or flexibility for high-end video production. It gets overheated faster compared to the Sony . But here’s the but .. if fuji did improve on the Af .. It’ll be a beast … Subjective opinion here but my only issue is the AF.
@@likaooz3018 Nice. I understand. Thanks for the reply And what do you think about Panasonic Lumix and Nikon with their newer cameras and lenses, how is their performance and autofocus nowadays?
@ the performance of these cameras on AF of the newer models is descent or better competitively to the Fuji . For Nikon Video features may not match Panasonic or even the Fuji for professionals. If I were to choose between these two cam .. • Choose Nikon if: • You prioritize versatility, excellent still image quality, and strong autofocus, especially for wildlife, sports, or portraits. • You value a broad lens ecosystem. • Choose Panasonic if: • You’re a videographer or hybrid shooter who needs advanced video features and the best stabilization. • You want affordable lenses with portability (MFT systems). PS - I had a friend who was struggling with the Fuji AF he is a commercial photographer/ videographer so in order to have a better af System he switched to Sony . Lmfao If Fuji continues with this attitude of not giving a damn about customer service and prioritizing making money only, the brand will die eventually in the next few years.
Every lens has its own trade offs. This lens is sharp, small, light and a fraction of the cost of say a 600 f4 with a red ring. It ticks many boxes to the point I have already purchased it.
菅原さんのGFレンズ500mmの回が凄く見たいです。
OMの150-400と比べてどうですか?

What Camera Brand is superior in your opinion? And why?

Trying to pass a 5.6 as a fast lens on APSC is wild
@@djstuc f/4 and even that would only give you the depth of field of a full frame 5.6 - 6.3
@@djstuc You do understand the difference in depth of field on an f/4 apsc vs f/4 on full frame, right?
@@djstuc subject isolation is still important for story telling and viewer direction at any focal length.
