watching your video shows me a lot of people on TH-cam don't know how to use their gear. These are the sharpest and most vivid videos I've seen come out the h2s
Good reminder because I was thinking the 150-600mm wasn't great for sharpness but there's a lot of variability of skillset... All the video was recorded with the xh2s?
Great work Anthony !!!! I have been a photographer for 20 years and into Wildlife photography for 15 years. In all that time I have watched 100's of videos and can say none have left such an impression on me as this. It is absolutely beautiful and so very, very well made. You should be very proud of this video and I am about to sit and watch more of your outstanding photography now.
I had 200-600mm with the Sony system, it let me down twice while photographing bears. Then went to Canon r7 and the 100-500mm. Didn't like that at alll, quickly sold that. Now shooting the Fuji H-h2s and the 150-600mm, Fuji let me borrow the fuji 200-f2 for a week. Well HELL what a beast that is. 2 months later I now own that one, never had a lens that expensive or that fast. Loving that for early morning light for deer, elk, bear. JUST LOVE THIS SYSTEM! And thanks for the great video. I have serscribed.
This is with out a doubt the best photograph and video of wildlife on TH-cam, like watching a Nation Geographic special. For a few years since the Fujifilm XH2 was released i have paired it with a 100-400mm Fujifilm lens and just recently added a 1.4 Fujifilm converter, it has been my go to camera for wildlife and bird 🐦 photography.
Fantastic video! I really enjoyed your nature and wildlife video (and photographs) . You really do beautiful work, both in the photography and the editing. I also liked your thoughts on the gear you were using- much more practical and informative than most other reviews I have seen. You did a great job here. The video goes to show what someone can do when they know their equipment and know how to use it. Thanks so much for sharing this, definitely one of the best nature photography videos I have seen. Keep up the great work!!
So i thought i was clicking on a video with vivaldi's four seasons on repeat, but boy was i pleasently surprised with my mistake. Beautiful compositions.
Fantastic film showing the Lords creation, up there with the best I have seen, and I liked you added in the Bible verse. I have got the Xh2s with 100-400 earlier this year to dabble in wildlife photography so found you video very inspirational and motivating to get out there. God Bless.
AMAZING Video and great photography. I have just ordered the Fujifilm XF 150-600MM Lense and you just re assured me that I bought the right Lense for what I love doing. Very inspiring thank you.
Anthony, this is a soul stirring, transcendent gift to all of us. Thank you for sharing it. Absolutely incredible. As someone who just discovered a love for wildlife photography, it sets a bar I may never reach, but I will certainly have fun trying.
Thank you for this beautiful film, and for your praises to our Creator! I recognised your environs immediately, having spent some fondly remembered times living and working in SE of England for various periods during the late 80s and into the early 2000s - I consider England to be one of my two "2nd homes", the other one being Japan. Also, I appreciated the level of detail you went into afterwards explaining your techniques and equipment for shooting the stills and video, very helpful to me and I expect to many others.
Hi Anthony ! You just made a sale for Fuji, I have been looking for nice long lens for my X-T5 and the 150-600 is going to be the one. I really liked your video and will watch it few more times for sure, thank you very much for sharing your beautiful video.
Too many breathtaking moments to note here but man, what an excellent piece! Amazing work, I hope it opened many doors for you - but it is enough on it's own, what an incredible piece of art!
I don’t have the 150-600mm but I do use the xt5 with the Tamron 150-500mm. I love how compact it is and the 23” min focus. I will say after trying out the 150-600, I was blown away by how much lighter it is. Your method for carrying the lens is GENIUS. It’s going to allow me to hike much further without exhausting my arms. I currently attached a handle to the tripod mount and carry it like someone would carry a video camera. Not uncomfortable but definitely exhausting.
Hey Anthony, thanks for sharing this Masterpiece. I'm thrilled with the great pictures the set-up took, no matter what time of day or season. it's a lot of fun to watch this video with all the great shots. i hope you're doing well and that we'll see a new video from you soon. best regards.
Extraordinary production! Every minute was a riveting statement of your dedication and perseverance - well done! A must see for all nature lovers, Fuji lovers and grandchildren.
This is brilliant! Peaceful and informative almost meditational. Beautiful photography and not overwhelmed by excessive commentary. One can only imagine the overwhelming effort and time spent creating this. Well done a true masterpiece!
Wow, thank you! Why did it take me so long to find this video, I don’t know….? Great work, beautiful shots, wonderful video. One can really see all the effort you put in. I switched to Fuji from Canon because of the weight and Canons inability to offer a decent crop sensor cameras. Started with the XH2s, added the XH2, and found this a very good combination. The Fuji 150 -600 is ok, but I found my Sigma 150-600C on my Canon 90d to be a bit better, I also miss the f6.3 more than I thought. Having said this… I still love the weight, and it does make up for the f-stop. The other lens I use most often is the 70-300,very nice pictures out of that lens indeed and so lightweight. I actually found myself gravitating more to the higher resolution body recently, but, as you said, the autofocus is considerably slower. Love your conclusions, all spot on, and yes, Fuji, please make a faster long lens🙂🙏 Thank you for this great and spot on review, giving good advice on autofocus, manual focus, carrying the camera,… and thank you once again for this beautiful video🙂
Beautiful and excellent images and you gave a lot of through ideas and information on the equipment. I am waiting to try my XH2 body when it arrives. Thank you Anthony, cheers.
i'm not a wildlife photographer but i do love nature, enjoyed every bit of this video. so calming. it also made me curious about getting into wildlife photography. awesome video!
Fantastic video thank you, looking at getting the x-h2s and the xf 150-600 for wildlife you certainly seem happy with it. But am also tempted by the original R6 and the sigma 150-600mm lens. Thanks
Thanks Marco! 👍 Filming was all done on the XH2s except the wide angle clips the low light clips with the deer at sunrise and my to camera review which was the XH2 so I could use 8K and crop to edit jump cuts 👍
Wow, what a great video! The best wildlife video I have seen so far. Very inspiring shots of beautiful nature in the first part and a brilliant explanation of your equipment and how YOU use it in the second part. It adds so much more than just sharing the technical data you get everywhere. For example, I've been using Peak Design gear for years but didn't know I could attach it to my back so comfortably. I hope you get lots of support to make more of this content. I wish you much success and hope to see more of your content.
Great video, Anthony - the first of yours that I’ve seen. Really appreciate your thoughts on the XH2S and the 150-600 . I have XT4 and XT2 at the moment and am looking to replace, so have been considering the XH bodies for a while. Your real-world thoughts have been very helpful.
Extremely impressed and inspirered by Your fantastic Beautiful wildlife film. You have convinced me that 150-600 functions quite well in birldlife photography. Coming from sony A7rIII and 200-600 I will change system. I love my xt5 and I will combine it with 150-600 for bird still photos!
A master piece! So finally we can do serious wide life work with Fuji stuff 😉 You brilliantly demonstrated that skills and patience is what you need to get fantastic results. As hobbyist, I’m using a X-H2 (for the crop factor - really appreciated with small birds ) and the 150/600. Sometimes, I miss the X-H2s for birds in flight…
Great video!! Exceptional blend of photography/videography and love the way you catalogued your work into the four seasons. Absolutely brilliant and very memorable, a work product to be proud of and thank you for sharing it with us.
Hi Jerry I won’t have time to make any videos for the next month or so unfortunately, too busy with freelance work and other priorities. Thanks for the feedback though 👍🙏
Great video that I watched very lately. But your wishes come true with the latest fuji xf 500mm f5.6. I hope to watch you very soon with a video on it 😅
Absolutely stunning work Anthony. I thank you for sharing your incredible talent and film making for us all to see. I look forward to seeing more from you in the future Take care and God Bless.
Such inspiring work Anthony. Not only the video and still shots which are incredibly beautiful, but also the narration and background music. Great work. I do have an X-h2 pair with the XF-150-600 lens and would love to know what are your settings for shooting birds in fly. Thanks
Hi thanks for nice comments. I generally use zone focus mode with a slightly smaller than max focus area. I usually use the mode 2 I think - the one that’s supposed to ignore obstacles. I also tried manually setting the tracking modes tracking sensitivity 2, speed tracking sensitivity 0 zone areas switching Auto. To be honest I haven’t done a controlled test though, It still struggles with busy backgrounds and I still and have to work at it sometimes. 👍
Thank you for sharing and creating this amazing documentary to show the capability of the Fuji wildlife offering, skill and perseverance of the photographer notwithstanding. After much deliberation have just taken the plunge on an XH2S and waiting delivery of the 150 - 600. The thing that swung it was the stacked sensor and that it's the only dedicated lens for APSC with this reach, and the internal zoom. Now the pressure is definitely on as there's no room to blame the equipment if the output is less than stellar! The shorter one plus teleconverter looks like an interesting addition. Those owl shots were stunning.
Outstanding presentation of the Fuji XH2 and fuji 150-600 lens and your use case. Deliberate, accurate, thoughtful and cathartic a journey for the viewer. Good on ya!
Thanks for the lovely comments 🙏 I would love to do more. But I need to choose what I produce carefully as my free time is quite squeezed 😂 kind regards Anthony
Hi Anthony, really a stunning video with lovely captures of the beautiful nature and wildlife, congratulations. As you did this video quite a while ago, meanwhile Fuji film has released the fixed 500 mm F5.6 lens, did you have already a chance to try this one out? And if so, what are your thoughts on it? Thank you. Best regards, Thomas
very nice video. Your suggestions to Fuji are very good and hope Fuji listens. Can you put a detailed vedio on how to set up Fuji Xh2S camera for wild life photography and 4 K 120 video . Thanks
Wonderful work Anthony! I was searching for Fujifilm auto focus tips and stumbled upon this video, happy I found it! I noticed you already answered most of the focusing questions from other commenters. I use an XT3 with the 150-600mm and I was wondering what your ISO tolerance range is? When do you think 6400-12800 ISO is best to use on the XT3 with the smaller 26.1MP sensor? I've had some decent results at 6400 but it's been inconsistent for me. Any insight would be appreciated because it looks like you've been shooting on Fuji for many years now, I only started in 2020!
If you only had the XH2 could you make it work for BIF? I don’t do wildlife but instead aviation like airshows and we do crop a bit even with the 150-600 for how I shoot. Aviation is kind of a hidden genre for gear reviews so I used wildlife photogs like yourself to give me some insight on what I can grab for gear
Hi Marvin I think I could make it work but obviously less frames per second would mean less frame options but obviously more resolution to crop👍 I haven’t done a lot of testing with the xh2 with BIF yet though so hard to make a good comparison yet. But I think it’s pretty good against a sky so I think with aviation you would be fine 👍
Hi Jana glad you liked the video! I use a portable zoom H1N for some recordings rather than a on camera mic. Although I did use a little of the natural audio from the camera when it suited the shot. Kind regards Anthony
So enjoyed this video! Is there any chance you could go through your AF, settings? I’m have an XT3 and XT5 and mainly use the XF 100-400 for wildlife. But I really struggle to get sharp shots of birds in flight. 😢 I’ve used various custom modes, AF settings and the new ‘Bird’ detect seems almost useless on XT5. I’ve used many, many combinations now and whatever shutter speed the cameras will do…and I’m soooo frustrated with it. For the record, I had my first ‘proper’ 35mm SLR camera 40years ago, so I’m no novice. But I must admit I’ve only gotten more interested in bird photography these last three years. Hope you can help with perhaps a detailed video. Regards, Dazza. 🇬🇧
Hi Dazza thanks for the message I don’t have enough spare time unfortunately to make a video on this subject (I have to carefully choose what videos I am willing to spend time making) Matthieu Gasquet has a comprehensive video on TH-cam XH2vs XH2s though. I generally use zone focus plus bird eye detect, and either continuous mode 2 or I tweak my own continuous modes. Shutter speed usually 2500/S or above and using f8 when using my 150-600mm. It does struggle with complicated backgrounds but does well against the sky or distant background. 👍
@@anthonyhurren5613 - Thanks very much for your reply buddy. Yes, this is what I’m experiencing, focus being pulled to background rather than staying with the bird!🦅 It’s so frustrating. I generally use Zone and Mode 2, but in frustration I switch about trying to find that bit extra. I have set-up a custom setting that was recommended by another TH-camr on his channel, but it really doesn’t seem to get any better keeper rates. I find the bird eye detect disappointing even for smaller birds on trees etc, preferring a small single box in continuous directly on the eye gives me far better consistency, but that is next to impossible for birds in flight obviously! Thanks for your time, I will endeavour to get better and work on technique. 🙏 Regards, Dazza. 🇬🇧
From experience the h2s + 150-600 are absolutely awful at panning/moving subjects and the OIS and IBIS doesn't seem to understand intentional movement vs just shaky hands at ALL, is there any advice to help against this?
Hi Staiain thanks for the question. Did you mean panning with video or stills? If you mean video it is certainly a challenge if your using the 150-600 at the long end 900mm equivalent, I normally stick to static shots if using the lens at 600mm but panning becomes more effective and less jittery at the shorter lengths. Also if using handheld then technique becomes vital I normally support my shot on my leg by crouching down. But to be honest I don’t have another system to compare it with, I would like to try the Z8 with the 600pf or day for a comparison. 👍 kind regards Anthony
What do you think of the weather sealing of these cameras? You do obviously shoot a lot in the outdoors. Have a X-H2S that behaves very odd in cold weather (stuck buttons, AF not working). Trying to figure out if it is a bad copy or a general problem of these cameras. Had so far never a problem with Fujis X-T line cameras in sometimes extrem weather conditions.
Hi Stephan it’s a good question and very hard to measure. I have had my ones pretty wet especially recently everything seems ok so far, but I haven’t been in sub zero temperatures.
Thanks for producing this amazing and informative video. I am a Sony A9/A6600 user and have been considering changing either to Olympus (lighter) or X H2s and 150-600 to produce work such as the video you have produced. My only concern has been with the X H2s ability to be consistent in CAF with birds in flight for both still and video. After watching your video I am seriously considering the X H2s. One question- with the various videos you shot were they hand held or tripod?
@@anthonyhurren5613 what is your experience with the setup for BIF CAF? Percentage wise how many would you say are in focus. I ask as the A9/ Sony 200-600 I generally get around 90% sharp the video side of things not so great as the overall stabilisation isn’t that great on Sony. My Nikon D500 and Tamron G2 150-600mm combination had better stabilisation 😊
@@tonyb736 hi Tony it’s difficult to say it can loose it if there is complicated background so it depends on the scenarios. Against sky or distant background it’s great around 80-90% But it’s a bit unpredictable against bushes and trees etc. video can track but it can suffer from focus pulses again if the background is complex. There are some better test videos online to refer to as I am rarely in situation long enough to do a controlled test. kind regards Anthony
@@anthonyhurren5613 thanks for taking the time to reply. Info provided is most helpful combined with your video, which incidentally is excellent an professional piece of work, with audio tracks that compliment. Thanks, and I look forward to further videos you post - Tony
I never find xh2s ‘s footage look like your footage. Your footage's color look so amazing and nature.Did you use flog2 to shot ? Could you tell us your grading workflow?
Hi I actually just shoot normal 8bit 4K but with these settings: colour profile Astia Soft, highlights & Shadows -2, Dynamic range DR200. The Astia Soft profile is great for nature, it gives a soft colourful and warm feel. But obviously It also massively helps to shoot in nice morning and evening light 👍 kind regards Anthony
Hi, I have a very specific question and would like your advice. I have done extensive research but I am still confused. Are the 7 Q Button setups overlapped with the 7 Custom Modes (C1-C7)? What are their differences? What is the point to set 2 sets of custom settings? When I use my XT-4, I set the Q Buttons. Now, I have two choices namely Q Modes and 7 Custom Modes on my XH2s. Thus, I am now confused. Can I share your experience, please.
Wonderful video with amazing footage and stills. I've recently started getting into hybrid nature and wildlife (aiming to capture stills and video, using Fuji gear. I was wondering - was all of the footage shot on a tripod or was some of it handheld? I have found that the weight of my tripod and fluidhead are quite encumbering even with a relatively light tripod and lens. Also, you mentioned that due to the variable performance of the subject tracking you're often manual focusing for video. How do you set the camera up for this? I have been using focus peaking and MF check (where it digitially zooms in) but have struggled because once the digital zoom is toggled, the only way to get back to the full frame view is to press a Fn button, which I can't do if one hand is on the focus ring and the other on the pan arm. (E.g. trying to get a tracking video shot of a bird in flight).
Thanks for the comments. Most of the footage is handheld but usually sat down using my knees or one knee to steady myself. I used the tripod on the kingfishers from the hide and when filming the Roe Deer in the woods. I just have focus peaking on when in manual and turn off the magnifier function and use the back button to initially apply focus. 👍 hope that helps
Absolutely beautiful and phenomenal work. I noticed the Fuji 200mm F2 was used as well. How much percentage of the footage was used for that? There was some super clear shots and I am wondering if it was the 150-600mm or the expensive 200mm f2 lens.
Hi Conannass the 200 was used about 25% of the time usually some of the mammal shots and close up broll shots at the beginning but only a couple of bird shots. 👍
Hi Okcay if the bird is in flight and it’s a larger bird say owl sized with slower flight I tend to use between 1/2500s or more towards 1/1500s if the light is lower F8-F9. I use the zone focus with bird detect and 30 -40 frames per second. The continuous tracking mode 2 mostly. If the bird is perched then anything from 1/1000s - 1/250th depending on if the bird is still or on the move a or how much light there is. Usually at f8 but of the light is good F9 if the bird is filling the frame to give more depth of field. It does vary alot depending on movement of the bird and the light. 👍
Absolutely brilliant footage! Thank you for the insight into the Fuji system. I recently switched over from the Sony platform and I purchased the x-h2. Was there a noticiable difference while shooting birds in flight in regards to hit rate/usable photos between the two camera models?
Hi Christopher I think it’s hard to say exactly as I haven’t done a proper side by side test but obviously the higher frame rate gives you more options on the X-H2s, and it felt more confident and more responsive. 👍
I think he gaves you the answer in the video : c1-c7 customs modes that allow you to change the all set-up in less than 1 second (the X-T5 can’t do it). And also the possibility to assign the af mode selection to a front button, impossible with a switch button.
Great film Anthony, you've been busy! I've given this a share in the Fujifilm subreddit...hopefully more people will see this fantastic piece of work. What lens did you use for your establishing shots (where you're in shot)?
Thanks for this nice video. Do you have xh2 and xh2s together in your bag when you go to field to shoot wildlife and landscape? Why not choosing 1 camera which cover all needs of high mp sensor, and speed together such as Sony A1 or Nikon Z8?
Hi Mrz have 2 camera bodies for all my work professional paid work. So it also benefits my wildlife photography where I can have the 150-600 and the 200mm f2 plus the 18mm 1.4 if I need them in one 18L mindshift backpack. The Z9 is a great camera but very heavy, the A1 also a great camera but they are both very expensive and I prefer the lighter weight of APSC designed lenses generally. Kind regards Anthony
@@anthonyhurren5613 So, besides image quality, we can say Fuji gear is lighter and cheaper, and having 2 bodies with 2 focal-length lenses would be better for field photography rather than 1 camera with 1 lens! correct?
@@mrz1342 hi mrz yes that’s a fair summary but also plus the crop factor that APSC gives. I love the 1000mm EQ the 150- 600mm gives 👍 also bare in mind I shout with Fuji gear for my paid work weddings, corporate, portraiture etc. so I changed from full frame canons to Fuji x mirrorless systems years ago when they first they came out, as I always wanted to have two bodies but with smaller 1.4/1.2 prime lenses for wedding photography specifically. I also love the fuji colour straight from camera which is especially time saving when shooting video for wildlife and weddings etc where I do minimal grading. Hope that makes sense?. I would defo like to have a go with a Z8 or Z9 or A1 one day though to see how much difference there really is. Kind regards Anthony
@@anthonyhurren5613 Yes it makes sense. the most important matter for me is the unique image quality as you mentioned. Especially perfect JPEG files and no need for manipulation in posts that I don't like at all and it's kind of humiliating my artistic photography manner. Having 2 bodies in parallel for field photography came to my mind after watching your video and I like the idea. it makes the gear pack much more flexible and confident plus time saves. Although I am 60 and not strong like you is the same as my younger age to carry a heavy backpack :) I saw some noise in XH2S but seems it's removable by the Ai denoise feature in Lightroom or other apps. I am very sensitive to crispy image making and pixels peeping that is why for landscape and still life I prefer my GFX100S but for more portable hiking XH2 is helping me a lot with almost the same quality.
BTW - I have an X-T5. I have access to all 7 + 7 (14 in total) custom settings via an assigned menu button, so I don't need to click a button on the top. I find it quicker than the X-H2 cameras I tried - in fact sent them back just because of that.
At first I missed the 7+7 setup too but finally realized I didn’t actually need or use the 14 presets on my XT4. So now I use 5-7 of the presets per XH camera and it works! 🎉 Glad you found what works for you too
Incredible work Anthony - thank you. While watching your beautiful work I couldn't help thinking of Romans 1.19-20. When you glorified God in your video it just made it perfect, God has wrapped this planet in beauty. Thanks again!
I may have missed this, but do you use Lightroom to edit photos? They look really sharp and no worming. Wondered if Lightroom still struggled with fuji files?
Yes Lightroom 👍 seems ok to me although to be honest I don’t worry too much about over pixel peeping that close as people don’t view files or prints at 200% in reality I think capture one probably still has cleaner results but best check some of the latest reviews about that 👍
LR handles Fuji files great at this point and it is easy to incorporate Fuji's film sims for a unique look. Compared to C1 I do, for whatever reasons, feel compelled to play with sharpness and noise reduction settings more in LR, depending on the quality of the exposure. In C1, I find default settings for sharpening and noise to be fine maybe 70-90% of the time. I like that C1 will import my star ratings on import (I rate photos a lot in-camera in an attempt to save time culling later). LR does not do this, which is annoying to me. Both programs can generate amazing images. Worms appear when oversharpening in either program, and is not dependent on camera make (I.e. I can see them on any brand). By default, LR's sharpening looks OK, but I tend to like to decrease the "details" slider from 25 (default), to 3-5. I crank the sharpness slider from 50-100 and may or may not use masking.
Hi no I didn’t use any filters as when I am hybrid shooting wildlife there is no time to change filters so I have to break the 180 shutter angle rule but with mostly slow motion this doesn’t really matter 👍 kind regards Anthony
Incredible work in both photos and videos! I have been considering getting the XH2s + the XF 100-400mm for wildlife, but more specifically for bird photography. Would you say its a good starting point? Also, how many memory cards do you carry in an excursion, or how much is the recommended GBs to have for 4K only footage? God bless you, man.
Hi thanks for the comments. I think the 100-400 is a good starting point. If you could get the 150-600 instead that would be even better though as the reach is so beneficial for birds and smaller mammals especially 👍 I use a 150gb card on my XH2s and have a 512 gb for my x-H2. It depends on what you photographing but I generally never fill them up with wildlife photography unless on those rare occasions I have a session with lots of continual action and shooting which is hardly ever.
@@anthonyhurren5613 thank you very much for your reply! I was asking about storage thinking about recording 4K video, since I also would want to use the XH2s for that as well.
If you can get the 512GB Cf express type B card then that would be plenty for most day trip outings. I also use a 128gb SD card in slot 2 for JPG back up and extra video recording space if needed. 👍
watching your video shows me a lot of people on TH-cam don't know how to use their gear. These are the sharpest and most vivid videos I've seen come out the h2s

Thank you very much!🙏
A masterpiece of work , not a fuji user [olympus] but loved this video, well done anthony
Hey - that totally blew me away. Never seen anything like it - congratulations. Keep making more :)
Beautiful artworks. Thank you for sharing. Congratulasion from Spain.
Thank you very much!
Hey Anthony, thanks for sharing this Masterpiece. I'm thrilled with the great pictures the set-up took, no matter what time of day or season. it's a lot of fun to watch this video with all the great shots. i hope you're doing well and that we'll see a new video from you soon. best regards.
Many Thanks for your kind comments🙏
Extraordinary production! Every minute was a riveting statement of your dedication and perseverance - well done! A must see for all nature lovers, Fuji lovers and grandchildren.
Beautiful video
Amazing work ! Thank you for sharing.
This is brilliant! Peaceful and informative almost meditational.
Beautiful photography and not overwhelmed by excessive commentary.
One can only imagine the overwhelming effort and time spent creating this.
Well done a true masterpiece!
Really cool, bro! Lets continue...) Like your content - its amazing!!!
Thanks a lot!
Love your conclusions, all spot on, and yes, Fuji, please make a faster long lens🙂🙏
Thank you for this great and spot on review, giving good advice on autofocus, manual focus, carrying the camera,… and thank you once again for this beautiful video🙂
Thanks for your nice comments Sigurd 🙏
Beautiful and excellent images and you gave a lot of through ideas and information on the equipment. I am waiting to try my XH2 body when it arrives. Thank you Anthony, cheers.
What a amazing video, respeckt. Love and ty
Great video Anthony! And thanks for the hack with the Peakdesign strap and your unique carry option. I was wondering about it for a while now :)
i'm not a wildlife photographer but i do love nature, enjoyed every bit of this video. so calming. it also made me curious about getting into wildlife photography. awesome video!
Fantastic video thank you, looking at getting the x-h2s and the xf 150-600 for wildlife you certainly seem happy with it. But am also tempted by the original R6 and the sigma 150-600mm lens. Thanks
Loved the film! Generally, what scenes were shot with which camera?
Thanks Marco! 👍 Filming was all done on the XH2s except the wide angle clips the low light clips with the deer at sunrise and my to camera review which was the XH2 so I could use 8K and crop to edit jump cuts 👍
Great review, thanks
Totally amazing! Inspirational to someone starting out with Wildlife photography with Fujifilm. Thanks for making this.
Love this video, great job.
Thank you!
Excellent Video :)
Thank you very much!
Outstanding sir!
God bless.
Thank you kindly!
Absolutely wonderful
Great video!! Exceptional blend of photography/videography and love the way you catalogued your work into the four seasons. Absolutely brilliant and very memorable, a work product to be proud of and thank you for sharing it with us.
Just saw your amazing videos today, can you make a video on your setting for still/video as well as custom setting (C1 to C7), thank you
Hi Jerry I won’t have time to make any videos for the next month or so unfortunately, too busy with freelance work and other priorities.
I look forward to seeing more from you in the future
Take care and God Bless.
Totally agree 👍🏻
Fantastic video and inspiration! 👏🏻
Good on ya!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏
Watched it like it was a documentary! Amazing review.
Stunning video! Your talent as a hybrid shooter is exceptional. Please do more because it's great to watch and very inspirational.
Thanks for the lovely comments 🙏 I would love to do more. But I need to choose what I produce carefully as my free time is quite squeezed 😂 kind regards Anthony
Very impressive, great photos and video all put together nicely. Well done!
Wonderful,...just wonderful!
Magnifique vidéo et photos ! narration sobre et informative. Un véritable aperçu des possibilités des Fuji XH2(s) !! Thank you so much🙏
Fantastic made my afternoon
Great work brother!
Thank you for your wonderful video. I enjoyed it all 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it! 👍🙏
Very beautiful pictures and film. I am curious: What picture profile did you use in film mode?
Hi Peter it is Astia soft -2 highlights and shadows and 200DR 👍
@@anthonyhurren5613 Thank you!
Phantastic!
Excellent eye
Magnificent! 👌
amazing content
Excelente! Parabéns pelo vídeo e pelas bonitas fotos. 🐤📸
Beautiful pictures and video samples!
Are you filming in 4KHQ when not in 120p? Which color profile or is if F-log? Thank you.
very nice video. Your suggestions to Fuji are very good and hope Fuji listens.
Can you put a detailed vedio on how to set up Fuji Xh2S camera for wild life photography and 4 K 120 video . Thanks
Hi Raja thanks for the comments, I won’t have any time to do another video for a while though 😂 kind regards Anthony
Great movie, thanks Anthony !
Do you have any recommondation for external mic for the H2S?
Hi Jana glad you liked the video! I use a portable zoom H1N for some recordings rather than a on camera mic. Although I did use a little of the natural audio from the camera when it suited the shot. Kind regards Anthony
So enjoyed this video!
Is there any chance you could go through your AF, settings? I’m have an XT3 and XT5 and mainly use the XF 100-400 for wildlife. But I really struggle to get sharp shots of birds in flight. 😢
I’ve used various custom modes, AF settings and the new ‘Bird’ detect seems almost useless on XT5.
Regards,
Dazza.
Regards,
Dazza.
I've had a similar experience. I just ordered an OM-1 MkII and am eager to see how much better it performs compared to the X-H2S
Hi Tony all handheld except the roe deer in the bluebell woods, I had to add some warp stabiliser for a few shots but not all. 👍
Against sky or distant background it’s great around 80-90%
But it’s a bit unpredictable against bushes and trees etc. video can track but it can suffer from focus pulses again if the background is complex.
Hi when you say 7Q buttons set up did you mean 7 custom buttons? Kind regards Anthony
Thank you for this amazing video. I loved the barn owl photos. May I ask you what af custom setting do you use for birds?
32:25 ❤🙏
Great content!
Did you get any editing software with purchase this Fujii camera?
Hi Joze I use Lightroom for all my editing. 👍
What do you think is better for wildlife x-t5 or this one?
I think he gaves you the answer in the video : c1-c7 customs modes that allow you to change the all set-up in less than 1 second (the X-T5 can’t do it). And also the possibility to assign the af mode selection to a front button, impossible with a switch button.
Great film Anthony, you've been busy! I've given this a share in the Fujifilm subreddit...hopefully more people will see this fantastic piece of work. What lens did you use for your establishing shots (where you're in shot)?
Hi Levi thanks for the share and compliments. The first couple of intro clips were the 200mm f2 👍
@@mrz1342 oh just seen the GFX mk2 announcement and an up and coming 500mm f5.6😆😃 I would love to give that combo a go for wildlife 👍
Glad you found what works for you too
Incredible work Anthony - thank you. While watching your beautiful work I couldn't help thinking of Romans 1.19-20. When you glorified God in your video it just made it perfect, God has wrapped this planet in beauty. Thanks again!
Thanks Peter 👍🙏
I‘ve always question about the image quality using APSC for wildlife, until my friend slap me with this video.
Are you use any uv filter or nd filter
@@anthonyhurren5613 thank you! That's what I would end up getting, hopefully.
Keep up the good work!
