      Hi! I love your videos. I have a Logitech G923 and I’d like to know if this Moza new model would be a justifiable upgrades. I mean, the 923 its an entry level model and the Moza is also too but with direct Drive an 5nM. What do you think? Thanks!

      @TheCarDoc1  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@martinfodor2848 hi Martin!! Thanks for commenting! Having used a Logitech G920 for many years before upgrading, I can tell you that the Moza R5 will absolutely be a justifiable upgrade. Due to the inherent smoothness of direct drive you will notice A LOT more detail on the sims, the wheel has over double the power and is far quicker to respond to what the simulation is doing, honestly it’d be worthwhile 😁

    Nice video. Just got my Monza 5 set over the weekend. Made a 300 plus one way road trip to microcenter in Dallas. I was surprised has small the base is, however does the job very will. I am impressed with how silent this wheel operates, can barely tell that it is on. The wheel is small, however appears to be well made and has plenty of buttons. The wheel feels good. The force feed back is good. Compared to my T-150 & G27 the wheel is just so easy and smooth to use. The software for settings adjustments has lots of different setting adjustment features. With my gaming laptop hooked up to 55 inch tv, the software exceeds the screen size. A little irritating to have to manually move and adjust the screen, just a very slight complaint. The screws to hold the pedals to the base are very small, in fact I may have already lost the very small Allen wrench that was included. The sim wheel bundle was very will packaged. The wheel base and wheel even come with their own bag to enclose them. In conclusion, seems like very well made product that should provide many many hours of use over many years. I did have some hesitation on this wheel selection since only PC. Except for GT7, I do not take the racing serius and just have that for the wide car selection and photo mode. Therefore is just for very casual play while setting on sofa with controller. AMS2 is great. This wheel combo, however for me has brought PC2 to life and is like a new game. If you struggle to determine if the cost of $600 plus is worth it. If you can afford it, I would say just based on a few days of use. I would answer with an astounding yes. I chose this based on price, reviews, availability and that was complete wheel/pedals package.

      @@Wheelmass there were not any Moza wheels set-up to try when I was there before xmas. They did have a full sim wheel, rig set-up. Except did not look at it, was most likely a higher end wheel. Still enjoying my Moza wheel. Definetly worth the trip and price. The one they had on the shelf, an employee took that box and said it was shipping out for an online purchase. Luckily they still had more in the back at the time. One other thing to mention, is that the clamps that are included are very well made. I only have mine clamped currently and have not had to re-tighten the clamps at all.

    Ended up buying this bundle and the clutch and brake performance mod from a different store, along with a shh newt 2 7speed+r/ sequential shifter. Got my r5 bundle today and I don't know how to explain it. Obviously you know what it's like, but coming from a g29 to the r5. It was mind blowing and I had a huge smile on my face the whole time I was using it. 5nm is definitely plenty and I was sort of doubting it would be enough, but oh man my doubtful expectations have been blown away

      @TheCarDoc1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh man i’m so glad you made the jump and enjoyed it! The jump from a G29 to an R5 is a big one even if the gulf in power between them isnt, the smoothness, clarity and level of detail is awesome right!?

      @@TheCarDoc1 yeah its really insane. ACC is so smooth and I play on 100% ffb and torque, using boosted media's settings. Normal assetto corsa has a bit of ffb clipping but I got it sorted. But man there are so many new things I was able to feel. I can't even begin to imagine how good a setup with like a 30nm simcube ultimate and hydraulic pedals would be, now that I know what DD feels like. Cant wait for the clutch, brake mod and shifter to come in a few weeks. Hopefully they also come out with a throttle and clutch mod to make them feel even better.

    Bundle is needed for consoles. But Moza R5 does not work with the consoles (as I remember).
    The best kit for PC:
    - base: Simagic Alpha Mini or Moza R9
    - quick release;
    - pedals Logitech with Load cell mode on brake (at least) + USB converter;
    - inexpensive steering wheel;
    - custom steering wheel petals (with USB converter).
    Original steering wheels are too heavy and too expensive.

    So I bought the R5 and they have upgraded the brake pedal spring. It's nearly twice as heavy as the accelerator pedal. I'm sure it's better with their optional mod, but getting it isn't as pressing (hah!) as it was with the first version of the SRP Lite.

    I believe it is i got mine for $424 at microcenter i jumped on it and upgrades are cheaper and nicer than fanatec virtually zero plastic all metal and carbon fiber and i love it ive since bought a CS wheel did both pedal upgrades and got the shifter and handbrake the only thing better about fanatec is the boost pack that's it but the quality of build with the csl dd is pretty poor compared to the moza r5 fanatec uses allot of plastic and has a plastic QR that absolutely sucks as nd needing a set screw to keep it secure kinda defeats the purpose of a quick release the base is 50% plastic the wheel is majority plastic and rubber el cheapo materials and the pedal faces are again plastic yeah ut where im Going with this. Oh you said Moza has potentiometers they are not they are haleffect sensor based no potentiometer at all in the srp lites but you can get the standard srp for $140 and it has a loadcell and will probably be my next purchase
