I love they got Tom to do the voice over for this. I just spent 3 hours listening to Tom read A Christmas Carol on Audible. It was a most wonderful thing! Will become my Christmas tradition from now on!
BritBox's US version is extremely worth it for classic Doctor Who fans where I am, in the US, too, and for loads more classic and current British TV besides. Though I don't think the US version has the 1996 TV movie.
@@s.panimations Define newly completed. BritBox US has The Web of Fear, The Enemy of the World, The Invasion including animated missing episodes, and animated The Power of the Daleks. Also it has The Wheel in Space with telesnap presentation of the missing episodes along with soundtrack. It would be unreasonable to expect it to have all the animated reconstructions, which are big reasons for people buying DVDs.
@@jimf8047 the UK BritBox has gotten the completed versions (through animation) of The Tenth Planet, Moonbase, and The Ice Warriors. They have also added the orphaned episodes of The Crusade, Galaxy 4, The Space Pirates, and The Celestial Toymaker. They have used telesnaps to complete The Underwater Menace. That's what I meant by completed stories. Hope that clears things up.
I'm definitely getting this at some point! Thanks for putting it up! It'd be awesome if it was *worldwide* though so my international friends could see these!
I finally found this ad! I love it, especially the monologue Tom Baker reads over this ad. I love the “So… The Doctor? There’s been a few. Perhaps, that’s why they say ‘Doctor Who?’”

ITV stated that Australia and New Zealand are their top priority regarding BritBox rollout and you should have it before 2021. Let's cross our fingers for you. :D
Tom Baker and New Order, the combination I never knew I wanted until now. Also, given that New Order drummer Stephen Morris is a big fan of Doctor Who (to the point where he owns a life-size Dalek replica), the song choice is incredibly apt.
This entire vid is cool beans. Also, Doctor 4 was my Doctor, the first one I met and fell in love with. I've loved every doctor since, and every doctor that came before - Now we're spoiled for choice. Yay!

Be aware that Samsung is not updating all of their products to include Britbox. Some older (~2yr) blueray/dvd players with apps do not have firmware updates available and the apps available do not include Britbox.
Is there anywhere that streams the HD remastered seasons? All I can find is the Spearhead From Space episode. I wish I could afford all of the physical copies!

Ah, the one and only Tom Baker. Got a Jelly Baby? BTW, somewhere around half of the First and Second Doctor's adventures remain lost because the BBC didn't archive them; tapes were erased and 16mm film dubs lost after being sent all over the world.

I appreciate how much the 8th Doctor was featured in this ad despite how little screentime he got. Thanks to Big Finish he's one of my favourites.
“Don’t forget to subscribe to the official doctor who TH-cam channel” has never sounded so wholesome 🥰🥰🥰

Nope no 1996 in USA. When I saw Paul McGann I got excited and checked to see if it was added. Alas no.
If you can't find it on the internet, check your local library to see if they have it on DVD.
No 96 movie, no Macra, and no newly completed stories

And Tom Baker now owns the Doctor Who TH-cam channel plug.
Classic Who is a blast and I love the TV Movie!
Shows all classic Doctors many times but Second only had one shot :(
Patrick Throughton is best
McGann only has the tv movie and they showed clips from that throughout.

David Hamilton me too

There seems to be a massively disproportionate amount of Paul McGann in this video.
Wow great news, cant wait for the new years day episode.
Dreading "spyfall"
I can't get enuff of these old episodes. Reminds me of when I was a kid watching these.
Classic Doctor Who and New Order's Blue Monday? This trailer is like a dream come true!

This classic Doctor Who collection should be on BBC i player for free to UK viewers , as we helped pay for the shows in the first place.
Taking that logic you should get all BBC DVDs and Books for free. You did help pay for them after all.
