Very nice looking. I had the original Space View, loved it. I couldn't find a battery so I discarded it. i just ordered the Accutron II, very exited about getting the replica. All the best!
Thank you for the review. I'm thinking of buying this (particular version), so it's very useful to see it 'live'. Can you tell me what the length (lug-to luug) of the watch is, since I have a small (6'5 inch) wrist and fear it could be too big.eryday terms? How wearable do you find it in every terms? Is it very dressy?
It is an unusual watch and it might be considered to be a bit dressy - I wear a suit to work anyway and it doesn't look out of place. The deployment clasp is a bit bulky but I've got used to it. Lug to lug the case is 49mm.
I love watching the second hand on mine, but hate the clasp and not too fond of the bands. Going to be replacing them. Odd lug size though; 21mm. The search for the perfect band begins. I can't be the only one that has changed the bands, straps and bracelet on almost every watch he's bought.
I bought this same watch and like you I didn’t like the band, especially the clasp. I have another Bulova watch that was less expensive (quartz). It had a brown simulated alligator band on it. It has 22mm lugs on it, so I shaved a little off each side of the band with a razor knife so it would fit snugly between the lugs and installed it. Now it looks very nice and fits well on my small (6” wrist). I am truly happy with this watch now. Incidentally the clasp has the Accutron logo on it, another plus. Hope you have the same luck.
I bought the gold tone with the deployment clasp. I changed the band from another inexpensive Bulova watch I have. I had to trim about a 1MM off each side of the band where it goes between the lugs. I was very careful and fitted it perfectly. The buckle has the Accutron logo on it. The band has a dark brown color with a simulated alligator design. Everything came out very good. I think I may have a one of a kind custom Accutron. Love it now and I’ve got a couple of comments on it. This watch has a very high accuracy. I think it has the 3 Prong Torsional Resonator movement in it. If I knew how to add a photo, I would let you see this beauty of a piece.

what size battery does it use
vintage andy it’s in the manual
May I ask what your wrist size is?
Hippo25, I just purchased one of these. My wrist size is 7.5 inches the 42 MM case sets very nicely on my wrist
Congrats man! I'm glad it suits you!
While mine being 6.5 inches, I think it's a little oversize for me. I wish it were around 38mm.
