@@chronic99 You need to change the settings depending on which model and also which display you have -- we have made parameter videos for each.

I've got a ff light bought from the solar company and worth every penny not only did l get a well built fast good quality electric scooter l got a customer service team that is second to none in terms of the maintenance of the scooter l feel secure in the knowledge that if l get any issues with my scooter big or small jack the tech guy at solar will sort it out no problem and that is priceless. 👍

How do you get this scooter to reach top speed of around 45 mph? What setting needs to be changed in order to do this
Nah this is a beast. I have the P1 2.0 right now, but the next 1 I'll go for will be the FF lite, when its back in stock. Then next year I'll go for the ff 2.0
Can we also lower down the Strength of the Torque?
I wanted to change the colour of the led strips inside my ff lite I was just wondering if I needed anything fancy or would I be able to just solder in some generic led strip? Thanks!!

when I try to save my settings by double pressing s and m it doesn't save my choices? So frustrating!

Yes
You can't get the percentage of battery remaining on the main display if it's available at all?
You can get this information via the Voltage reading on the display which acts as a battery percentage.
The scooter isn't in stock anymore, I've checked the Solar Scooter store recently and found the scooter is sold out. I've been trying to buy one for over a year and it's never been available.

Amazing brand and very underrated
i have gone on to regen mode p21 i set it to 2 held both buttons down it went back to normal screen then i checked to see if it stayd on 2 and it hasnt i cant get it to stay on 2

its never been on regen mode and i need new pads now so must be why lol
on your website right now it shows a different display and a twist throttle. is this a mistake or is it just new for 2024?

I purchased this scooter recently and I can only get it up to 15 mph max...what am I doing wrong? What exact setting needs to be changed?

So I got the new FF lite a couple days ago and I was scrolling through the parameter settings and noticed the voltage was set to 52v... This scooter is a 60 volt scooter so I'm assuming that the voltage in the parameter settings should be set to 60v. Am I correct?
No that is the correct parameters - it’s a 60v scooter but the parameters have to be set slightly lower to avoid power overload. This is common in all escooters

@@chrisdoherty7942 ah I think I know what you mean now, what you’re looking at, that’s not a parameter you can set that’s showing the current voltage level. Is yours fully charged ? It will show around 60v when fully charged
@@SolarScootersuk no it was about 75% charged. But I did exactly what he did in the video. Clicked both buttons together then scrolled to P3 and it was set to 52 volts not 60 volts. So I'm still not really sure what to do. I appreciate your help btw
@@chrisdoherty7942 that’s that’s fine then, it’s saying 52v because it’s showing the current voltage. If you charge to 100% it will say 60v
what does regen breaks mean
Regen brakes use the motors for braking by turning kinetic motion to electric energy. Slowing you down while charging the battery! No need to use physical brakes - although the scooter does have them also

i bought ff lite 2022 but can't reach speed above 40mph. why? by the way i luv solar brand, its solid, well made, just luv all about this brand. well done for creating such amazing scooters
Have you ensured the following:
- you are in mode S
- Dual Motor is ON
- Launch mode set to MAX ?
- Tyre PSI set to 42
- Is fully charged ?
@@SolarScootersuk hi. thanks for reply. yes, mode is on S, dual motor is on, settings on 100. i am planning have ride tomorrow and actually check speed via tomtom gps app but at the moment with display speed I can't go above 40mph. asking cos obviously luv my scooter as is purely amazing but definitely want to reach highest mentioned speed. I am only 76kg in weight and 172cm tall so don't think my body weight could affect performance of my scooter... i am definitely don't want to send it back but checking if i missed something what could cause problem with max speed. p.s. wish your scooters be in stock more offten as i really want ff 2.0 or p1 pro as well. really amazing e scooters you guys creating. thanks
@@SolarScootersuk i will check settings once again. i will let you know max speed from gps app reading tomorrow..fingers cross it will show real reading.
@@wallys6304 If you still are not reaching top speeds, do not that other factors may be coming into play such as temperature, weight, wind direction etc -- all makes a difference. You should still be hitting between 45 and 50mph though.
@@SolarScootersuk mines exactly the same, no faster than 40 unless down hill then goes to about 43 mph
