i replaced using my car by using the p1 pro and it's really useful and saved a lot of my time during the rush hours and heavy traffic only need a chair and a side mirrors for full control on the heavy traffic roads, Thank you Solar Scooters
I also like to use those sprays that are for car dashboards to give to scooter a nice finish. Keeps it really shiny, gives some protection from dust and dirt and it even makes the scooter smell really nice and clean :) Oh and also for the tires I use another product made for cars. Idk how is it called in english here we call it "liquid silicone". It comes in spray form or better yet - as a liquid. For the latter use a paint brush to apply it to the tires. It helps the tires maintain that nice cleak deep black look as if they are brand new. I can`t stress this enough but ONLY USE THIS PRODUCT ON THE SIDE OF TIRES. Otherwise just forget about braking.
I got 18miles on my first drive with 2/5 bars battery remaining at 4 degrees. I was using the launch control everywhere, drag racing my friend also with a Solar P1.
Hard to say! As we’ve never had anyone return with a dead battery☺️ most likely years untll replacement is needed with proper care and normal use. Batteries can be bought directly through us - just need to drop us an email and we can arrange for you. Hope that helps
Another great video from the Solar team. Much appreciated. Quick question I've noticed my foot plate has some kind of white grit on the ruff sand papery bits. Is there any way to clean those bits? The type if cloth you used in your visit wouldn't be any use and would just get gratered lol. Any suggestions?
Hi thanks for the positive feedback!😁 Yeah I know what you mean about the grip tape, mine is the same. Unfortunately because it’s so gritty, bits can get stuck in there and there isn’t really a good way of getting them clean. You try air blasting it if you have an air compressor - but it’s either that or replace it. Hope that helps?
You will have to remove the wheel and take the wheel with the flat tyre on to a garage to tyre shop. They can remove the tyre with proper machinery. Then you will need to have them install a new tyre which can be bought from our website or anywhere online. We have a TH-cam video on how to remove the wheels for tyre replacement. Hope that helps?
@@bobbytaylor2617 I personally took my own P1 to a local tyre shop and they took it off no problem. If you have experience getting tyres off yourself it is doable by hand, definitely a 2 person job though. It’s touch being such a small tyre.
Just bought a p1 pro to save on fuel costs, didn't realise how monstrous they were till it got here. Does anybody ride them in the road and if so do the police ever stop you? Don't fancy 6 points on my licence & thinking of selling for something that attracts less attention
no i have a g2 pro its got good lights proper brake light good brakes kick plate on the back decent mug guards what work and all for under 800 pound oh and a great strong frame it as every think and hybrid tyres do you want me to go on lol nar only playin bro no solar great scooter just can,t afford one at the mo with buying this beast lol but ill have one soon luv the cleaning tips because only had mine about a month but loving it the scooter world i just wish the guverment would get of there ass,s and make them legal in the uk
They say waterproof for marketing, but their IP rating is just a higher level of splashproof. Waterproof means submersible, which they are not unfortunately. Hope that clarifies.
Tell us! What escooter do you ride? (Solar or not) Let us know in the comments below!
I had a Ninebot ES2 for about a year and a half then after that I got one of your Solar X1's. Both are absolutely phenomenal!!!

Thank you for the positive feedback! 🙏🏽 glad you are enjoying your P1 Pro
Are you in the UK? How have you found using a escooter as a main mode of transport given the shitty laws
i gave up a cbr 600 sports bike and i have more fun on my scooter and it cheaper lol
How much range?

P1 pro fingerprint edition..and loving every minute of it ❤
Can u clean it with dish soap?
How good is the solar p1 on range, I know it says 30 but if I was riding dual motors with max power going 30-35 how many miles would I be able to go
You'd probably get about 12 miles dude doing that speed and using the dual motors with your weight on top
I got 18miles on my first drive with 2/5 bars battery remaining at 4 degrees. I was using the launch control everywhere, drag racing my friend also with a Solar P1.
How long would the battery last with normal use and also regarding replacement battery if needed, how would one go about purchasing that. Thank you

You're welcome my friend!
Well nice 👌 I clean my p1 2.0 with w40 sometimes and it's really clean it nicely 👌
What’s w40?
@@Rednoob88 he meant WD-40
What type of Wd-40 make sure to use Wd-40 White lithium grease to spray in the wheels, and Wd-40 silicone spray on the springs
i see snow there, the snow season here in spain got my scooter dirtier than mud.. xD
Are these scooter good quality and not wire every where

Look for skateboard griptape cleaner
@@nathanhart8229 Hi, thanks for the suggestion, ill do that. 👊🏿
@@michaeljohnson5321 let me know if it works with electric scooters I only know if it works with skateboards but it takes a bit of rubbing
Bydue s1 is fully water proof it has a ip rating of 67

No washing of the wheels, the stem, or the handlebar?
can you us waterless wash and wax from the spray battle
Can u do a r1 vs p1 pro I’m trying to decide what to get

Ore just buy Muc Off spray, that thing is verry good. Cleaning plus polishing
Nice, its simple. Thanks
And tyres
Feels like whenever I use the sponge on the grip tape area it pulls the fluff on to the deck
Sponge can’t be used to clean the grip tape. There’s no real way to clean that, unless you have an air compressor and can blast it out.
@@SolarScootersuk you can use belt sander cleaner or if you can't find that look for skateboard griptape cleaner usually like 5 quid
@@nathanhart8229 cleaning drill attachment is pretty good too
Try making the next one waterproof so we can jetwash it
No escooter is fully waterproof - ours is plash proof so riding in light to medium rain is fine.
Never jetwash any escooter or ebike

no soap? or you cant use soap?
I use soap at first, then just with water :)
Someone needs to build an escooter thats waterproof so we can get going on figuring out how to make it work underwater
well according to pure air their scooter is fully waterproof or watch youtube and emove scooter is totally waterproof.
