The pros and cons of 'trusted traveller' programs promising to save you time at the airport

"Trusted traveller" programs like Clear and TSA Pre-check are gaining more traction. Here are the pros and cons of the time-saving programs.

Clear is definitely worth it if you travel frequently for work, the ability to leave later stress-free for the airport is great

Just signed up for tsa pre check. It cost us $78 and that’s for 5 years. It was very simple some questions online then go to a place where they scan ID and take fingerprints and that’s all. Took about 5 minutes and was not really an interview. Got number in 2 days. Very quick.

Global Entry is wonderful. I passed 300 people in line at customs because of GE. You get Pre Check too all for $100 , good for five years. If you are traveling overseas it’s well worth the fee and a short interview.

I don’t mind getting their early and dealing with long lines…. After that mess …. It’s straight to the lounge for me lol

I tend to not like the kind of people who say "time is money" it always comes off as an excuse for whatever they want to justify. I wish that phrase would go away.
