Thanks Dad. It's probably not what most people are into watching but it definitely has an audience. I'm going to definitely finish it. It'll be neat to go back and take another leisurely approach on my own after I beat it.
If you're going to continue to play VR for an extended period of time you may want to consider investing in a more comfortable headstrap. I used to have the M2 from BoboVR and it was very comfortable, and had a battery in the back to help counter the weight on your face.
Man, I had to skip a few parts from all your LE playthrough, because I haven't played it yet and I don't want to see spoilers. But be sure that I always drop a like, same with your Alien one.
If you ever get in to co-op vr games, I'd love to see your reaction to them! It does come with a disclaimer though, the VR community is majority made up of kids (most of which being obnoxious) so if you end up playing a Co-op or PvP VR game dont play public servers too much.
Ahhhhhh, your primary movement should be grabbing and pushing, you should use booster and brakes for speeding up and slowing down, amd thrusters for mid course corrections
Great episode again! By the way you can get the orange markers to show up for the task you're doing by touching the icon on your arm computer when you look at the tasks. There's a toggle on/off.
I'm going to have to replay this as I played it back when I bought my CV1 - and both my headset and PC are significantly more capable. It will probably look like a whole new game.
@@beyond_xen no biggie really you just head to the anomaly and it spikes, you lose control of the fury and have to bail from it as radiation is extreme and you lose the fury as it gets sucked into the anomaly. You reboot or head back to the station with your thrusters
Here's the part that got to me. I have thalassophobia when it comes to the ocean, going into space had the same effect on me lol but I gotta play this game more!
I can understand that. I am also thalassophobic. I think the reason I didn't feel that way for open space was because it felt like dreams I had. However it could be totally different in real life for me. I'd probably be terrified!
"Half life alyx is like the best VR game ever" I disagree. Graphically, probably. However, games are more than just their graphics. There's MANY games that surpass Half Life Alyx in many ways. Even including scale and scope. Lone Echo, particularly, nails down the movement in VR far more than Alyx did. Alyx was very conservative and played it way too safe with the movement. You can't even jump in Alyx...
Very valid and I appreciate the feedback. I suppose I've taken to heart what every one was telling me about HLA. Maybe they only meant the graphics. So it's good to know there are in fact better games out there. I had been worrying I wouldn't have the best time after playing HLA first. Glad to see I was wrong. Thank you. ☺️
@@beyond_xen I do feel that a lot of people play Alyx and then kinda just.. stop playing VR games. Either that, or just stick to the same ones over and over. Not to mention the Meta store is kinda awful with advertising great games. It just advertises the same games that've been popular since the quest 1 came out. So people think there's not much more out there.
I like this kind of game. A real brain challange!

That was quite relaxing and cool to watch. 🙂
Thanks mom
I'm interested to see what other VR games you get into!
Maybe next Red Matter or Vertigo as they are top requests
Wait until you see what it's like having a body in Boneworks 😉
👀😁

Also prescription lens inserts are an absolute must for glasses wearers, makes it way more comfortable and less cumbersome

No worries! Thanks

Still a great game.

Thanks for the tips!

Oh! Thank you! So that's the purpose of the diamond icons on my arm computer.

That's exciting! I'll get to do all that one day when I upgrade
You goofed when you didn't hold on and it skipped the anomaly visit 😅😢
Oh no!
