- Our teenager is driving! Can't even believe we have another teen driver in the house! Keira has been working so hard for months on studying to get her driver's permit while she is learning to drive so she can get her license when she turns 16, and today she passed her test so she is now road legal! She seriously had the cutest reaction to the instructor giving her her test results and we are definitely keeping this video footage to play on her wedding day. 😂 And the day was definitely a roller coaster because as soon as we dropped her off at school, we had to take Lincoln to his neurologist to run an EEG and MRI on his brain to really get to the bottom of his seizures and make sure we are on the right plan of action moving forward. It was a quite an emotional day to say the least.

Always a milestone moment...as the driving around for them to birthday parties, sleep-overs, movies, etc....they can get themselves there. It was a sense of freedom for me as a parent. But, then the worrying starts all over again with this new stage. Little people, little problems...Big people, big problems. I was lucky...my girls didn't give me much grief....As for some of my friends, they went through more difficult issues when the driving started. All you can do is trust them & pray they will make the right decisions. :)

I remembered years ago when Lincoln had to do his first surgery, and seeing him now- it's a mixed emotion. I am praying for his total recovery very soon. God is good!
This was such a lovely mixture of the goodness of life. Neighbors sharing, photos documenting the changes in family seasons, Keira's taking steps toward independence and Penelope showing her drafting skills. Even Lincoln's scans and exams are steps toward understanding, thanks to the study of the medical community. Early darkness in Fall is the tunnel we enter for protection until the spring lights the way. Hopefully your projects will come together and be ready for you to nest in when the days get longer!💗

It's always fun when you move and you have those new neighbors that come introduce themselves it's fun to get welcome gifts. There pictures were so nice and all the kids looked so nice. The expression on Kira face was priceless when they told her that she passed and only missed one on her driving test. Lincoln is so adorable so excited to leave and giving those cute kisses is also priceless. The Miller family is a true inspiration for many.

I pray the cause of Linky’s seizures is revealed and the right treatment to stop them totally is found. It is so overwhelming having to undergo health tests, currently going through weekly hospital appointments to find out what has caused my entire right thigh, leg and ankle to swell up since July. MRIs, ultrasounds, blood tests, and the like. Very tiring for a child let alone an adult. This too shall pass.
To the rest of the family, I am looking forward to seeing the Fall photos.

Yeah thats because our society unfortunately pushes and encourage single motherhood and certain lifestyle. Especially the mainstream tv shows and programs. I really wish we could go back to times were marriages and families where the number 1 priority again instead of the culture that pushes women to be 'independent' and 'I dont need a man'. The Millers kids are a beautiful example of how a nice family can be with the father in the home. God bless them.
