- The day has finally come when our 18 year old firstborn daughter is moving out to start a new adventure! It's so bittersweet and we are both excited for her and also so sad to see her leave home! So we wanted to make the most of this last night together after getting her stuff out of storage! We are still processing and definitely gonna miss her more than we can even imagine!

I can remember when our daughter barely 18 moved to Florida! It was hard to say goodbye to her but thankfully she is happily married to a wonderful man and they have two amazing sons!! God answered our prayers!! Chocolate covered raisins and mac and cheese are 2 of my favorites!! Thanks I am hungry now!! Sending love to y'all!! We are technically empty nesters but we are enjoying the grandchildren here and the Florida ones!! We are so blessed!!

I remember when my big sister moved out. I was 13 and she was 19. I hid in my room after she left and blasted some RHCP to drown out my cries. We were best friends because she was my only sister and we always looked out for each other. But I'm 23 now and she's 29, we each have a young child and they're best friends too. Family is everything ❤

Amanda!! You broke my heart when I saw you crying for your first-born moving out 😥. A mother-child's bond knows no distance nor time and will never be broken as long as both of you shall live. It's bittersweet for Amanda. I am the oldest too and my sister and I had to move out when I was 21 and sister 18yrs finished with HS. We got an apartment on Oracle in Tucson AZ. Our oldest moved several states away last in August 2020. While I'm very proud of him, and I wouldn't want him to give up his dreams, I still miss him like crazy and wish we could live closer. Praise God for Facetime!

This brought back memories of my oldest going to college in North Carolina and we live in Michigan. I'm a single mom so there was not the money to fly her back and forth so the next time I'd see her was winter break. I drove her down and cried all the way home. She ended up marrying a southern boy and end up down south Florida to be exact. Hard but she has a great life now with an amazing son in-law and two wonderful kids(grand kids). I have two of my 4 kids around me and two that I get to visit. Enjoy the time you still have with the others it goes so fast. You have a great family and I love watching your channel.

Best advice my dad ever gave me when I went abroad for the first time for a year was to keep a good head on my shoulders and to never do things I wouldn't normally do...as in anything reckless and life endangering. Good thing I was a level headed kid!

I did the same thing and up and moved to Houston from San Diego, CA. And it was a rough couple of months but it turned out to be the best decision I made. There’s nothing like a new city and new outlook that’ll get your mind going. You got this!

I really felt this. I moved over 200 miles from London after 14 years to live with my parents at the beginning of Covid. Two years later with a new job i'm moving to the Peak District in the next two months and the thought of not seeing my Mum every day is really difficult, so i really felt some of the pain of this move. May God's peace and comfort be with you all, and his blessing on you Reese as you take on this new adventure.
