Thanks man, it turned out quite well I was really pleased, and I've almost already got 100 miles on it. my dad and I rode it for 75 miles round trip and aside from the chain starting to get loose, which I fixed after, it ran flawlessly.
@@michaeltolomei6623 you ever experiment with a jackshaft for those kits? I wanna get one but there's barely any information online about em speed etc.
@@Lil_bitsCS naw, not yet. but I'm aware of them, it basically turns the bike into a multi-speed through the original equipment. I wonder how the derailers would handle the power over time.
if ur bike struggles to start check the spark plug timing if u correct it and clean it and still wont start u need to replace it those 2 stroke engines eats spark plugs alot
not much can be done for timing, if you want to adjust it, you have to modify the crank key to rotate the magneto. The pole plate itself is set where it is. It doesn't usually give me to many issues in starting now. Typically it just comes down to the right blend of choke. I don't start them everyday so that doesn't help the situation. Also that strong ratio they call for really can foul plugs up.
@@michaeltolomei6623 u can always try new carb with bigger intake mine avenger 85 struggled to start to with stock carb that came with kit but when i used 21mm carb it starts on first try
Your build looks really clean I like it!
