I really wish I ended up just getting the RST myself. I ended up going back to the stock clutch... but because of the parts market, the stock flywheel was hella expensive. 😄The Mcleod RXT/RST really is a good bargain for what you get as a whole package considering issues with the parts market. But I'm just keeping it mostly stock overall so I guess it just works for me... Appreciate the super helpful videos as always Danny! 😻Also Happy Mothers Day Everyone. ❤
I totally agree. I was torn on which clutch to get. I was at 600hp so I was afraid of being in the middle and all the reviews put clutches at 500hp, and the RXT was only $100 more for ceramic and such, so I bit the bullet and decided to go the whole 26 spline conversion to also make videos on it for everyone else. I’m shocked with how little clutch chatter I have with the RXT and being smaller discs it’s very light pedal feel.
Maximum motorsports. They use the same company that ford used so it’s as close as you can get to a factory cable th-cam.com/video/RkEn5FJHs8g/w-d-xo.html
You can change it to Mobil 1 full synthetic atf or the new temec MTF. There is a lot of controversy on under filling the mach 1 TR3650 slightly under 4 quarts and not to use synthetic for the carbon fiber and cardboard (yes cardboard) in the syncros. I still ran Mobil 1 and it’s fine th-cam.com/video/5ABs-ek5NPI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gTcwof_4hgj5ZY_k

Awesome videos and very detailed! Can I ask which clutch cable you went with?
