      I really want to share with anyone exploring awareness that being introduced to Loch Kelly and Sam Harris has been wonderfully helpful and I really believe it is a way forward for a lot of people. It also helps A LOT with going deeper or just being more stable in the psychedelic experience (yes, even DMT)

    You wanted a challenge? Save the planet. There's a challenge. That's what everybody who came before did. They participated at least sufficiently to pass the buck to us. Can we participate sufficiently to pass the buck to our grandchildren or are we just going to go down as the lamest generation in the life of the planet? I can't believe it. I know too many of these people. I love too many of these people.
    As the Grateful Dead say you know, "just a little bit harder, just a little bit more; You can't go back and you can't stand still. If the thunder don't get you then the lightning will." So forward into the future, with a high heart and reasonable hope that we can make this planet into a living reflection of the inner dream.

    Can we take a moment to realize how profound the introduction of this video is? The idea that energy conservation is essential to initiative and making life easy reflects the very simple, yet genius ways of proto-humans? Terence can tell a million stories in one sentence. • @josh3of4
      @josh3of4 3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      I feel like the ego is really just a wart in general, extreme masculinity is just as toxic as extreme femininity. Taoism requires a balance so it isn’t your “male ego” that’s the problem, but your “ego” as a whole. Women need a masculine aspect so they can stand up for themselves just as men need a feminine side in order to learn how to let go.

    Hi that right. Yes. A way to do things no lose of force. Are you sitting in a circle. It's art and we are artists on the plane of life. It's all a mixture of people who are given thier place in society. They know where they are and they are ground and these trides are united. You can either be a shame or a pot make or you can be a child how grow up in these tribes and they will know and people will see what you good at. What you personally is like and what they will become to benififal to the tride and as there's children grow they no thier place and ground make the rules.

    The universe is math, and we are on an exponential track here. For the longest time we were running parallel to one axis and doing just fine. Now we are in this in between stage where we have nothing with which to guide ourselves. Now, just as we are beginning to ramp up, is where we are at our most vulnerable and most confused. As technology advances, we will reach an ultimate point where we run parallel to an entirely separate axis and will once again be complete.

    • @mitkabz
      @mitkabz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Brodie Knight when will that happen? Please explain more🙏

    • @brodieknight772
      @brodieknight772 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mitkabz I don't fuckin know. To figure that out, you'd have to know precisely where we are in time, but we cant possibly know that because time doesnt exist in the actual world. It only exists when we perceive the past, and debatably, when we imagine the future. And you'd have to be a lot better at math than I am too, and even then there are so many factors that you would probably be off by a good deal.
      It's clear at this point that the function of technological progression is in some way exponential, but I believe that the actual formula is incalculably complex. However all exponential equations, when graphed, follow a similar pattern. For most of our history we have been at a very low level of technology and not really progressing at all. This is the first, the horizontal, asymptote line. Now, suddenly, we have hit the beginning of our exponential upswing where technology is improving faster, and better technology allows us to speed up the acceleration even more. It seems clear that this will continue, in which case we will reach a point where technology is advancing so fast that time is no longer of any significance. This will be the vertical asymptote line. It's hard to say what this might look like because we dont have a reference point for it. Think of how inaccurate 80s sci-fi is about the 2010's. They could never have gotten it exactly right. But I think that technology will be the thing which life is a part of, rather than nature or time. We will, ourselves, be technological beings, and we will live as one with technology in the same way that we used to live as one with nature. We will overcome the biological boundaries which cause us confusion and doubt, and which keep us apart from the enlightening truth of the universe.
      Think of the sky. You look up on a cloudy day and it seems as though there is a ceiling to the world, but you're doing just fine beneath it. Then you begin to ascend and you reach the clouds, and you lose sight of everything. You dont know which way is up, you're entirely confused as to what the fuck is going on. Then, after some struggling, you break through the other side and suddenly you can see again, and it's more beautiful than it ever was, and also entirely alien. We're lost among the clouds right now, so its impossible to say how far we have left to go, but I dont think it will be too long before we break through. Probably after our lifetime, but what difference does it make? Terrance in his day was already talking about this, and now we have more evidence for it than he ever did. The stage we have already reached in quantum mechanics has completely unraveled the physical world and fundamentally changed the nature in which we scientifically understand everything. If you take science far enough, you reach the same point of enlightenment that you reach by taking religion or spirituality to their full extent. That part is already happening. But when we can technology influence our perception of life, of time, of ourselves and our environment, life will be something that even the most radical lunatics could never dream of. We know that our existence is dictated and defined by biology. We know that biology is nothing more than a wet, squishy, fleshy version of what we create with technology, which means technology should be able to structure our reality in the exact same way, but under our control. Currently, we serve biology. We will be able to replace biology with technology and have technology serve us.

    • @Laymante

      My interpretation: the black parts of the daoic disk ate too much of the white ones, rendering an out of sync sensation of the human adventure. The male force has been showing off, the feminine force has been shying on, hence a desequilibrium has taken place. The circle stays a circle, it is just filled with too much black, or not enough white. I don't know... been sober for too long.
