Love my 2021 SL6. Not a pro and no plans on ever racing so it’s all I need. Upgrades are: Reynolds AR41X wheels with gp 5000’s, enve aero drops, 3D printed fizik saddle, left arm power meter. I wanna get the Ultegra r8100 cranks for the aesthetic lol. My pride and joy 💘
Hi what exactly stem and spacers you have in this emonda? I have other basics type, and then is not looks good like yours. This is much better and more ellegant. Thanks
You sure can. For a lightweight, sports bike, it's very compliant and doesn't have a too sporty riding position. It would be also worth trying an endurance focused bike like the Domane for comparison and what works best for you. Thanks BBB.
@davidbeeley163 given, and like I said - I love my emonda sl6, I would buy another one. It just isn't very light for a climbing bike. My specialized allez is a couple pounds lighter but it has its own setbacks. (Mostly road chatter)
Mine was 8.5kg with better wheels etc but rode brilliantly and I hit prs on climbs , always felt lighter than the actual weight . My other bike is lighter but not as good as the Emonda
Love my Emonda SL6 Pro. Two years of joy and counting...waxed chain now too.
Thanks BBB 👍

Great bike & upgrades 👍

Great to hear! Thanks BBB 👍

Just the stock items for this model & year. Thanks BBB 👍
Can we ride the emonda for long distance riding ?

Put some 700c x 28 tyres on it. Run low pressure for added comfort. Done 100 miles on my SL7 many times. (I'm 80 kg,run 75psi)
Nice colour scheme
Thanks BBB 👍
I have that bike but the tyres are different in Australia... Trek Emonda SL 6
Thanks BBB 👍
So not Big Bear California?
Sorry, Big Bear Bikes, Pickering, Yorkshire, UK 🇬🇧. 👍
I love my emonda, don't get me wrong, but the SL isn't really all that light lol

We think think its not bad when you consider the Lifetime frame warranty and the high rider weight limit. Thanks BBB
@@psy-v Good point, understand. Many thanks for the comments , BBB.

Emondas going head to head with Giant TCR and weight wise there's no contest, even most of their endurance range are lighter.
Handlebars are a horrible fit
All handlebars are a very personal preference like saddles. At least they aren't too expensive or complicated to change. Thanks BBB 👍
I'm with you. I replaced my SL7 bars for the RSL VC-R one piece bars of the SLR models. (The gen 2 version, not the snappy cracky recalled gen 1).
