I think BMRCL is making the right choice with the january opening, there might be overcrowding and complaints about frequency in the first week or so but its better than no service

      Must start asap

It'll be quite chaotic in the beginning though, there might be a lot of over crowding, but the metro does need to start asap to reduce load on the road traffic

But waiting 30mins for a train does not make sense, you could book a rapido and travel factoring in this time....
BMRCL could try to open in somewhat respectable frequency, if it has the potential to be great, why not be good from the 1st day itself

  • @barryobrien1890
    @barryobrien1890 หลายเดือนก่อน +31

Don't worry, these are just optimistic dates with zero planning, so expect many more delays. It will be by luck only if any trains are running on the yellow line by Jan 2026. People have been waiting many many years for service so another year is expected. Despite all the promises for 2024, we just got 3 more stations added. Keep up the good work, but don't put any faith in the promised dates as they always change

For the Yellow line, with just 3 trains operational in Jan 25, the passenger load cant be managed if the trains stop at all stations. Load be reduced if stops are limited, say, just Eletronics City, Silk board, BTM and RV road. All stations can be made operational once more trains are available, but limited operations should start by Jan25

FACTS: KAR KONGRESS does not work GOOD.
      Instead does only plans.
Planning and looting businesses and do not do good implementation.
Always Dy. CM is busy planning useless Tunnel roads and other useless project planning as listed out below, that too sitting in AC ROOMS.
Many projects work are delayed like Widening of Herbal flyover, Millions of Potholes, Parking lots.
      Koramangala flyovers,
      Widening of Drainage,
Build more water bodies and lakes, etc.
This City is a Chaos City with all kinds of haphazard and hazardous ways of development and build 100s of different kinds of CRISIS.
The Bengaluru was executed by Congress, since 60 years of haphazard Governance model.
      Land mafia,
encroachment of Rajkaluve and drainage leads to flooding during rains .
      Water crisis n Flood crisis
      Public transport crisis i.e.
No Suburban Railways network, since 60 years of govt in central govt. 🙄
Diminishing 2 thousands of Lakes and Parks.
      Haphazard development n
World worst infrastructure in road infrastructure n
Many millions of Corruption spoiling and killing the Bengaluru city.
Road infrastructure has been completely chaos and messed up in the whole world by Congress party.
Need of the hour is 1000s of circles needs Bridges or Subways instead they plans useless tunnels which will messy the traffic issues.
      Congress ideas are worse .
They stopped the higher end infrastructure project like
      NICE ROAD PROJECT.
They even stopped PERIPHERAL RING ROAD for 3 to 4 decades .
This is mindset of theirs idea 💡 😳
All the projects of CONGRESS projects which are senseless and nonsense as follows:
      1. FYI, Metro tunnel connect to entire city.
      So Tunnel roads are
not conducive or not feasible for entire city.
Tunnel road is not conducive to one main road as well.
whereas entire city road infrastructure is worst of worst.
      2. Tunnels roads are meant to use only a few for certain smaller distances and smaller areas .
Still it is not feasible to the avoid traffic jams.
      3. FYI, Metro Train's tunnel doesn't not create bottleneck in the corner.
Unlike Road tunnels manifests choas and messy jams in the corner of the tunnel roads.
Tunnel roads creates messy in the tunnel road corners.
      complete traffic jam in
      the Tunnel corners.
      4. The most Foolish project Skydeck project is completely waste and most Useless project which will increases chaos in the Road and manifests messy jams and Traffic jams.
      5. There is highest numbers of one ways roads which indicates the most messed up road infrastructure.
      6. There are many more thousands of manifested issues without any feasibility study.
One of the Best SOLUTION are:
Need to develop new AIRPORT outside Bengaluru.
Instead Development a new bangalore n 3 more ring road.
Apart from exitsting Satilette rings road.
      Summary:
All the plans of the Congress is manifested chaos in city.
Water clogging during rains and highest number of encroachment of patks and lakes in the world.
The Congress wants only old bangalore.
      Why new AIRPORT within Bangalore.
the Congress plans to squeeze another 4+ crore population in this same old congested city of Bangalore.
Utter nonsense n newsense of ideas of Congress
New paper Deccan Herald reports that,
the BBMP i.e. Corporation will spend Rs 9.45 crore on preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the tunnel project. In contrast, the cost of the DPR for Namma Metro is significantly lower. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) spent just Rs 1.56 crore on preparing the DPR for the 37-km Sarjapur-Hebbal line, which was submitted in June this year..
Congress ideas are worse City without RING ROAD.
      1. Electronic city without Ring road.
      2. Bengaluru city without Ring road
      3. Kwin city without Ring road .
      4. In future, Any new city plans and development will be without Ring road.
They stopped All RING ROAD PROJECTS.
      1. NICE ROAD PROJECT.
      2. Peripheral ring road.
They even stopped peripheral ring road for 3 to 4 decades .
Now the point on Tunnel roads.
      1. Fyi Metro tunnel connect to entire city.
      2. Whereas Tunnels roads are meant to use only a few for certain smaller areas .
      3. Metro tunnel doesn't not create bottlenecks in the corner,
unlike tunnels n tunnel roads, which creates bottlenecks.
      4. there are many more issues of feasibility
Instead of new bangalore n 3 more ring road, the Congress wants only old bangalore.
they will squeeze another 2+ crore population in this same old bangalore.
      uther nonsense n newsense.

JDS will do Ring road I.e. NICE ROAD.
Kongress fought AGAINST the RING ROAD PROJECTS I.e. NICE RING ROAD in the court.
Congress demolished many projects like NICE and Peripheral ring road.
Congress neverever completed any ring road in the history.
BJP provide foundation by STTR and progressing faster.

FACTS: Khan-gress IDEAS are Worse CITY Plans.
Entire ecosystem is messed and devastated.
One example is City plans without RING ROADS and Spoiling rivers and lakes and parks and many other factors.
This is clearly visible In Delhi, Bengaluru , Mumbai and other cities.
Delhi doesn't have efficient public transport
      and
Delhi highest number of private transport like cars.
15 years of Sheila Dixit and Congress during UPA has devastated the development culture itself.
Delhi entire ecosystem has been completely devastated by Congress by pollution and Spoiling the Rivers and Lakes.
Below is example of Devastation of City i.e. Bengaluru.
      1. Electronic city without Ring road and no residential areas.
      2. No ring road in the Satellite town like Kengeri and Yalahanka and ITPL Whitfield and
No ring road in Kempagowda airport.
      3. Bengaluru city without Ring road I.e, Peripheral ring road completely FAILED.
      4. Kwin city without Ring road .
      5. In future as well,
Any new city plans and development will be without Ring road.
In the History as well, They were against and they stopped All RING ROAD PROJECTS.
      1. NICE ROAD PROJECT.
      2. Peripheral Ring road.
      3. Expected Ring road project in Kempagowda airport.
They even stopped peripheral ring road for 3 to 4 decades.
Major Bottleneck for City itself is as follows:
They neverever planned New Bengaluru just like other cities.
      Now,
Why do we need the point on Tunnel roads.
      1. Fyi, the Metro TUNNEL connect to entire city with length and breath.
      2. Whereas Tunnels roads are meant to use only a few for certain smaller areas .
      3. Metro tunnel doesn't not create bottlenecks in the corner,
unlike tunnels n tunnel roads, which creates bottlenecks.
      4. there are many more issues of feasibility
      5. There is another foolish project Skydeck project.
They make traffic jams more and more with this kind of project.
      5. They made Concrete jungle city.
No new lakes and no new Parks and no new mini forests.
Instead of new bangalore n 3 more ring road, the Congress wants only OLD BENGALURU with concrete jungle.
They will SQUEEZE another 2+ CRORE of POPULATION in this same OLD BENGALURU.
Utter nonsense n newsense projects and spoiling entire ecosystem of Bengaluru city.

Another excellent and detailed update! I can clearly see the effort that went into gathering all the necessary information, and it's very well articulated. It really feels like a one-stop channel for any updates related to Metro-it's very comprehensive. I particularly appreciate the general updates; they’re always informative and easy to follow. For instance, the information about the luggage kiosk was incredibly helpful.
I do have a few suggestions for improvement that might add even more value:
Post-Feedback Improvements: It would be great to include details about any improvements that BMRCL has made following customer feedback. This will show a continuous effort to enhance the service and customer experience.
Contact Information: It might be helpful to add information on whom to reach out to for retail or other commercial activities within BMRCL. This would make it easier for interested parties to get in touch.
New Tech/Features: If there are any new technologies or features that BMRCL is planning to introduce, I think that would be valuable to highlight.
Perhaps these points could be incorporated into the same video or even in a follow-up one. Keep up the excellent work, and thank you for putting together such a great piece of content once again.

@user-zz6vo5ep7r excavation charges , property acquiring charges , construction charges , delay charges , inflation charges and finally retender charges. This will go in thousands of crores. Instead they can spend it on additional trains and "suraksha Kavach" so that in a single train more than twice to thrice the metro passenger volume can safely reach tumkur on existing tracks. Metro is for local transport. Even in Developed countries we have TRAINS that fly people to the destination. Even the railway minister got elected from the same tumkur district, yet why can't he pass an order for additional trains is what pains me 😢 if we save then this saved amount can be used to open new govt schools or nurture the existing ones and open new govt hospitals and run free of aid for the next 6-8 years.

@@fuzzyc I assume this is what it is. Having commercial and retail spaces right next to a metro station does wonders for business, so I assume a company with a penchant for expansion would be open to exploring this opportunity. An example of this could be Mantri mall, the south Bangalore Forum, IKEA, etc.

Didnt BMRCL say that yellow line will initially only operate at the terminal stations + 2-4 other important stations until they get atleast 7 trains? I think this coupled with the fact that 30 minute frequency is public knowledge will stop people in time sensitive needs from using the yellow line and will probably reduce the passenger load enough to have minimal over crowding. I think its a good compromise to start slowly for now, demand will rise as the frequency shortens.

It’s common in Bangalore - build something then release ohhh no pipes added for drains / power / gas etc. Won’t open any time soon.

Most metro sites have two or three people working. At this pace, it will take another 5+ years to complete. Whoever is traveling inbus can check this.

If yellow line opens in jan with 3 trains and with 30 min frequency, it will be shutdown after a day, because of heavy overcrowding, there is a clear data from BMTC that foot fall on this route is very huge. 30 min frequency will definitely not work.

Hi, thanks for such an informative video. In your opinion, what is the timeline of completion of both the Phase-3 lines by BMRCL? How does this timeline compare to Phase-3A's timelines? Assuming no hiccups and average completion times based on historic estimates.

    • @mrt_rails
      @mrt_rails  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

Glad you liked the video! The Phase-3 lines can open by 2029-30 and the Phase-3A line can open by 2031-32.
This is considering the fact that Phase-1 was approved in 2006 and its first stretch was opened in 2011 (five year gap). Similarly, since the Phase-3 lines got approved in 2024, they can get commissioned by 2029 and the same applies for the Phase-3A considering approval is received in 2026.

30 minute frequency will not be feasible for regular, serious travellers. It will be OK for experimental and casual travellers, who just want to experience the metro ride (like me, during weekends).
For that, it would be appropriate, if the Yellow line time table is announced publicly.

You are forgetting that their time lines is a bunch of lies
7 trains is definitely not possible by April 2025 and they know it and that is why they are opening to show they have launched in Jan 2025. Bunch of idiots with no responsibility for execution. ... pathetic
10 trains will be Jan 2026, 7 trains by Sept 2025..that is why they are launching now
