You know...people always say 'no one can beat secretariat' blah 'no horse could ever be better than him' blah... 'hes the best!' blah blah blah. You know what ever since I was younger I've wanted to prove people wrong. I've wanted to show people secretariat isn't the "only" amazing horse in the world. And you might think I'm crazy because this has never been done, but I want to be the race horse owner to have a "FILLY" win the Triple Crown. I get really emotional thinking about it. I've also had vivid dreams of crossing the finish line...a perfect win. I feel as if I've had signs through out my life that just say...do it. You can do it. This is what your made for. Come on...your ready. And one day I hope to see my beautiful filly standing in the winners circle...
Thoroughbreds grow up earlier than other breeds. So if a thoroughbred is saddle broken at the age of 1,5, it's like, for example, hanoverian saddle broken at the age of 4.
@「 Jüpiter 」 Well then look at some western discplines and how they start at 2, racehorses have light jockeys and light saddles, they alos retire young. AND NO THEY DON'T ABUSE THEIR HORSES ALL THE TIME. bet you've never even been to a racing stable.

That makes me angry that people dont see whats going on, horses die just for money, they make young horses run and that kill them, they hit them with a whip all the time! BE AWARE
Horse can also die on the pasture (trying to jump the fence etc). And running or racing doesn't kill them. Bad surface, too much training - yes. And most famous racehorses die in their stalls, with their loving owners and stablehands. Yes, many owners abuse their horses. Not all, however. And if racing was banned, all thoroughbreds would be killed for meat.
And thoroughbreds are young growing breed, so if thoroughbred is saddle broken at the age of, for example 1,5 year, it's like warmblood saddle broken at the age of 3 or 4.
